It is a truth universally acknowledged that romances where the ML falls for the FL first are superior.
I'm just going to admit it: I'm absolute trash for fluffy romances where you can feel yourself turning into a pile of pathetic goowhile also subconsciously realizing that the reason you have such unhealthy standards for relationships and people in general is because you're always comparing them to fictional characters, but we don't talk about that.
Sica and Karsus(hahaha sus) and their entire dynamic was absolutely A+. It was so fun to read about their individual backstories and the way they worked so well together as a team, apart from just their romantic dynamic. Yes, there were some yandere moments from both of them, but we don't talk about that.
Of course, the best stories have a little bit of everything: a solid plot and a solid romance, without either overshadowing the other. And this manhwa has EXACTLY THAT. You don't even know how much I freaked out when I realized that there was a healthy balance here that ACTUALLY WORKED.
The romance is good and cute and adorable.
The plot is absolutely amazing.
The plot twist at the end was extremely predictable but whatever.
So why did I absolutely not love this?
Simple: a group of characters known as the 'savages'. The thing that really bothered me about them was how they were portrayed compared to literally all of the other characters.
Almost all of the main characters and protagonists are white/pale-skinned, while the 'savages' are drawn in darker shades. The 'savages' also wear feathered headbands and other paint markings on their faces/bodies. Which, just- uMMM ??? Really rubbed me the wrong way, even if it might not have been completely intentional.
I've been told that these sort of things are present in a lot of manhwas because of cultural/ethnic homogeneity in the country of origin, but still. As a non-white person, it was borderline uncomfortable to read.
So yeah. As much as I loved the characters and the romance and the plot, it wasn't a total five-star read because of those issues. Apart from that, I really did enjoy this, especially since it wasn't needlessly dragged out and solid from start to finish. The ending might have been a bit rushed but in my opinion it really worked for the story, and made for a cute resolution to everything.

Estoy completa y absolutamente enamorada de Karthus Lian, necesito un hombre que me amé como él ama a Sica.
Todas las historias con el trope de el se enamora primero son las mejores, y esta no fue la excepción. Es un manhwa muy fácil de leer, ligero, perfecto si estas buscando algo para pasar un buen rato.
Sica es una hechicera de 26 años que se crio con una manada de lobos hasta que fue rescatada por un misterioso espadachín, que la llevó a la torre del hielo, un lugar donde preparan a las personas para convertirlos en hechiceros. 10 años después, Sica sale al mundo para buscar al espadachín del que sigue enamorada a pesar de que hayan pasado todos esos años, y también buscar a su hermano.
Por otro lado, Sica tiene un secreto: es un monstruo ¿o no?
Aunque de cierto modo es el personaje principal de la historia, y seguirla durante los capítulos fue una linda experiencia ya que es una mujer muy dulce, tierna y compasiva, lo cierto es que Karthus se robó mi corazón.
Karthus es un mercenario clase s, lo mejor de lo mejor, y es uno de los maestros (de los luchadores más poderosos). Cuando se encuentra con Sica, su conexión es instantánea. Pero Karthus Lian tiene un problema: el no tiene amigos ni relaciones. No permite que ninguna persona se acerque a él... hasta que Sica aparece.
Es hermosa la forma que tiene de hacerla sentir segura de sí misma, nunca le dio ni un sólo motivo para desconfiar de él y siempre fue sincero con sus sentimientos.
Es capaz de dar su vida por ella sin pensarlo dos veces, todas sus interacciones me encantaron, simplemente estoy enamorada.
La historia es genial, tiene giros que no te esperas y te mantiene entretenido en todo momento. Si le bajé una estrella es por como se resuelve cierto conflicto cerca del final y por un viaje que hicieron, no doy mas detalles porque es un spoiler.
Siento que el conflicto se podría haber resuelto de otra forma, no entiendo como todos confiaron en determinadas personas de nuevo y esa lucha final no tuvo nada de sentido.
El viaje si tuvo su explicación, aunque hubiese preferido que las cosas se hubiesen dado de forma diferente.

this is spectacular!!! goddamn, that was such a good read. overall loving these dynamics. <33 their bond is just so fucking precious, my god. i love them.
(i’m low-key tearing up from all the sweetness, too… which is a weird, new sensation.)
either way, i was enthralled! kept me up for way longer than it should’ve, too. i’ll probably reread it someday as well; there’s not a lot of room for any doubt there. unfortunately, though, i’ll probably forget a lot of things i’ve just been reading… as it’s honestly not all that memorable on an emotional level. and i also didn’t take a lot of screenshots like i normally would, so i kind of regret that in retrospect… however!!! i’ll try me best to recall how much i appreciate these characters and how wholesome this comic has made me feel. a pleasant escape from reality! (plus, it’s a storyline i haven’t really seen before. that’s a certain bonus!)
normally, i would’ve written more of an extensive review, but i honestly don’t know what else to say. i just loved it. and it’s nice having been able to binge it effortlessly in a relatively short amount of time!
P.S. karsus is just the most precious, most lovable thing i’ve ever seen. <33 or guy, meh. well, one of ‘em, at least!!!

Wolf Sica - Sica Wolf es un webcomic que disfrute mucho leer, que se lee mega rapido y que te lleva a querer saber más y más. El arte es precioso, toda la mistica que tiene y el mundo que crea Siya es de lo mas interesante pero hubieron algunas cosas que me hicieron plantearme si terminarlo o no. Principalmente que sentía que estiraba cosas que ya no daban para más, que se volvía repetitivo en ciertos momentos y que no parecía llegar a ningun lado, dejando algunas cosas muy abiertas para luego de variooosss capitulos, finalmente darle un cierre (esto en algunos casos me gustaba, en otras me preguntaba porque los personajes no estaban haciendo nada con esto).
Los personajes me gustaron, por momentos Karsus me parecia bastante red flag y siento que esto lo hizo parecer un poco más 'humano' o 'real', pero no se si Siya intento normalizarnos o mostrarnos que Karsus podía ser algo más que un perfecto caballero de armadura brillante que salvaba y ayudaba a la protagonista.
Por momentos Sica me sacaba de quicio y tenia ganas de meterme en el comic y tener una charla profunda con ella, pero su evolución fue muy interesante. Me gustó tambien que haya muchos personajes secundarios interesantes y que le sumaban mucho a la historia en sí.
Los personajes me gustaron, por momentos Karsus me parecia bastante red flag y siento que esto lo hizo parecer un poco más 'humano' o 'real', pero no se si Siya intento normalizarnos o mostrarnos que Karsus podía ser algo más que un perfecto caballero de armadura brillante que salvaba y ayudaba a la protagonista.

Creo que es el primer manga que termino en mi vida y estoy demasiado feliz con lo bella que fue esta historia.
Por momentos creí que la iba a pasar mal, que había cosas que no iban a resolverse pero por suerte me equivoqué.
Me enamoré de Carthus 😍 imposible no enamorarse de él.
Y me quedé con un poco de ganas de que se explorará más sobre el poder de magia oscura que tenía Sica o incluso de las razones de quien estaba del otro lado del velo para haber hecho a Sica y a Laurie como eran, e incluso porque su madre terminó ahí cuando estaba embarazada pero bueno, viviré con las inquietudes por el momento.
Aún así la lectura me encantó y se me hizo muy ligera de leer.

Poprvé bych se rozmýšlela až nad 5 hvězdičkami, ale při druhém čtením jsem si všímala nesrovnalostí a mnoho skutečností nedávalo smysl. Především to cestování časem, to mi hodně zkazilo zážitek, protože má poměrně velký dopad na příběh a na události před ním. Možná jsem si toho poprvé nevšimla, neboť jsem to četla, jak to vycházelo, jinak nechápu, jak jsem tohle mohla opomenout. Jinak je to klasická slaďárna, takže neočekávat nic převratného.

Sica Wolf contained many spoiler for novel Sigrid. So, it was better to read Sigrid first. Sica Wolf’s timeline connected to Sigrid’s side story.
The story was fun and adorable. Sica was a cute little lady while Karthus was quite a womanizer, even though he was virgin. Hahaha They were really the opposite characters, but made such a sweet couple. The story had a lot of plot twists.

In all honesty, I read this again because of Sigrid that came out. The two main characters are lovely and the romance was good. There were times that were really good and there were times where it was confusing and things were getting stuck. I’m hoping to see Karsus in Sigrid and I’m wondering if there will ever be episodes post Sica Wolf. (Because I would be there for it.)

Karsus & Sica made the manhwa what it is. They single-handedly saved it from being a bore. I wasn't really a fan of the whole background scenes of the mercenary jobs, the whole twin fiasco or the world building. Excluding all those, I was all in. The ending was rushed but nonetheless, it's a HEA.

They’re adorable. Their relationship is healthy. The communication works wonders. The only complaint is that Lawrence’s character is not executed well, but I guess all is good. I’ll miss our little wolf & swordmaster!

The story is too fast and the art was bright in a way that I feel like this is a child story. Dropped this manhwa since it's not growing on me.
