This is a fascinating look at various facets of circus history. The quantity and quality of photos is amazing. Many of the photos cover a full page and are of astonishing detail.

Each chapter/section is included three times, once in English, and twice in other languages. There is no repetition in the photos, however, and every photo includes a caption in each of the three languages.
