Oh wow what a great read!!! This is another hit from author Jennifer Bernard. The storyline is funny, sweet, touching, hot and engaging. I found it hard to put down. Fans of small town romances with realistic outstanding characters will love this one. Each story gets better and better. I highly recommend Seduced By Snowfall to everyone.

I always liked Nate from his previous time in the first two books and Bethany is just right for him, naturally. As usual, I would like a little more depth from some of the more meaningful moments. Nate had been keeping his feelings deep down about his sister's death when he was younger and never talking about them. It feels a little to easy for him to decide to change that as quickly as he did, but he was challenged by Bethany to look at it in a different way. And sometimes that is what triggers the change. And also when Bethany decided to live for herself and not to make her father happy. Granted she was dealing with it for years, it just seemed pretty quick to jump over that hurdle.
But I loved the banter back and forth with Nate and Bethany. The way they came together for SG shows that they can turn on third professional brain at any point and it puts all other emotions aside at that moment. Especially when Nate was helping the young SG in a way that a big brother would be helping a younger sister......like the one that he no longer had.

Nate is the sexy firefighter who is always willing to help anyone with anything. He appears to not have a care in the world but a tragic loss in his past has him reluctant to feel that pain again so he guards his heart very carefully. He and Bethany are very different but there is no reason they can’t have fun as friends.
Bethany has recently moved to town and is doctor. She is determined to be a success and that means focusing on her career and not on men. She has grown up never believing that she can match her Dad’s expectations so when she finds out he is coming to town she recruits Nate to pretend to be her boyfriend.
As they spend time together they realize that their differences balance each other out and it is only a matter of time before the feelings they have for each other are beginning to feel very real but first they need to leave their pasts where they belong.

Seduced by Snowfall was another great addition to the Lost Harbor, Alaska series! I have read all of the books in the series and I was so glad that Nate, Lost Harbor's fun and flirty EMT finally got a story and Bethany was a perfect match for him. Bethany may appear like an uptight doctor but her patient Mrs. Bellini knew that Nate has been burying his pain beneath his happy go lucky exterior and Bethany's caring nature is just what he needs even if he doesn't want to acknowledge it. Seduced by Snowfall was full of witty banter, engaging supporting characters and the heartfelt message that I love about this series. The Alaskan settings and wildlife really add a unique dimension to this contemporary romance that makes me want to jump on a plane and find this fictional town so that I can see it for myself! It was told from dual POV and it has heat, heart and happiness!

Bethany & Nate are a perfect couple! Bethany is the proper doctor looking for the “perfect” guy. Nate is the sexy EMT/firefighter joking his way out of anything to serious. They bring out the best in each other! Add in the beautiful Alaska wilderness wonderfully described by the author, a wild girl hiding in the firehouse & a town full of friends & you have the best plot. The story pulls you in from the beginning & your heart gets pulled in with S. G.’s troubles. I really hope that as this series continues, we learn more about her story. List Harbor is turning into another terrific series. Each story can be read as a stand alone but they all build on another with the same characters showing up.

Opposites attract!
Bethany and Nate are total opposites in their approach to life but there is some undeniable chemistry between them. I really loved how each character not only accepted but embraced their flaws and the way others could help them.
The S.G. storyline was very interesting and I feel like it’s only the beginning and I’m the only one feeling the possibility of a Detective and Fire Chief match?!
I can’t wait to go back to Lost Harbor!

Seduced by Snowfall
As with all of Jennifer Bernard's stories, this one was excellent. The main characters Hate and Bethany were both strong and perfect for each other. I especially enjoyed the part of the story involving S.G. A very enjoyable book!

Jennifer Bernard's "Seduced by Snowfall" was an enjoyable read, with likeable, well-developed main characters, an engaging plot, and a beautifully described Alaskan setting. I have to admit that I have never had any interest in living in or even visiting Alaska before, but Ms. Bernard's descriptions of the scenery and lifestyle really made Alaska come to life. It was enough to convince me that a visit to our 49th state should be on my bucket list. (That said, I think I will plan my visit for the summer; I don't think I would handle a blizzard quite as well as the characters in this book did!)
The male lead character, firefighter and EMT Nate Prudhoe, was very easy to like. He came across as laid back, charming, and flirtatious, but he was hiding a tender heart beneath the surface. Nate cared deeply about helping others and seemed to make friends wherever he went, but swore off more serious relationships after a childhood tragedy forced him to confront the pain of losing a loved one. That vow was threatened when he met Dr. Bethany Morrison, who was dealing with childhood baggage of her own thanks to an overbearing father.
Nate and Bethany's relationship moved quickly, but it never felt like insta-love to me. I really appreciated that they seemed to get to know each other and develop a friendship before their feelings for each other turned romantic, though the attraction between them was there all along. Bethany and Nate really seemed to bring out the best in each other, with Bethany helping Nate open up about his past and Nate helping Bethany lighten up and develop the confidence she needed to stand up to her father.
In addition to Nate and Bethany's relationship, I really enjoyed the book's subplot involving the mysterious runaway Nate found living in the Lost Harbor fire station. I would like to know more about her; hopefully Nate's best friend, police detective Maya, will continue the investigation in the next book. Speaking of Maya, I enjoyed getting to know her in this story and hope to see her featured in a future story of her own. Nate's boss, Chief Boone, was also a very interesting character, and I couldn't help but wonder if he might be a good love interest for Maya.
At any rate, I look forward to the next book in the Lost Harbor series and can't wait to see what happens next for these characters.

With every one of Jennifer Bernard’s books in this series, I fall more in love with Lost Harbor, Alaska, and its people. SEDUCED BY SNOWFALL is book three in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series. Lost Harbor is charming and the characters are fun, unconventional, and oh so loveable. Bethany Morrison, Lost Harbor’s new doctor, is smart, accomplished, responsible, and has no self-confidence. When a patient sets her up with Nate Prudhoe, she goes, even though she knows he isn’t the right man for her. Nate is an EMT and a jokester, appearing to never take anything seriously. Nate knows his date with Bethany won’t lead to anything, but he can’t resist teasing her and really enjoys loosening her up.
Surprised at how much she enjoys her time with Nate, when her family comes to town, including her Dad whom she can never please, she makes up a pretend boyfriend and ropes Nate into helping sell it. But as spend more time together, including helping a mysterious runaway, Bethany thinks maybe Nate can be a Mr. Right Now, which she’s never had, while she’s looking for the one that will win her Dad’s approval. Nate’s all for getting closer, but starts wondering why a casual relationship isn’t working for him, especially since he has no plans to settle down. His carefree, joking attitude hides the little boy whose heart never recovered from the tragedy his family endured.
There isn’t a part of this novel I didn’t love. Bethany and Nate are two people with baggage that really complement each other and they are just fun to watch. Bethany’s relationship with her sister Gretel is the most honest one she has, the two love each other and each is the one person that accepts the other for who she is. They are each other’s biggest cheerleader and advocate pushing the limits of their comfort zones.
Lost Harbor is such a joy to visit. Bernard has created a town and filled it with people that you can’t wait to hang out with. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. I know I am not alone in hoping the series goes on for a long time.

Nate Prudhoe, firefighter and town playboy, doesn’t believe in happily ever after. Through no fault of his own, he’s experienced love and loss. He’s placed walls around his heart so that he doesn’t have to ever experience that kind of pain again. Until Bethany...Nate finds a runaway who’s injured and he needs assistance in caring for her. The more time he spends with the good doctor, the more he starts to care. He doesn’t like that she’s pining away for the neurologist, but isn’t sure he’s what she needs.
Loved, loved, loved this novel from the first page to the last. It was humorous, angsty, and suspenseful. I enjoyed Nate and Bethany working together to help the runaway, even putting their jobs on the line. When Nate took Bethany’s dad “golfing”, I about died. Hilarious! Bethany’s struggle to win her dad’s approval was so realistic. Everyone wants their parents to be happy and approve of their decisions. It’s equally sad to realize that sometimes, that’s never going to happen. Nate was supportive and loving to Bethany. I also enjoyed his interactions with her sister. I loved that Bethany was able to help Nate work through his grief. Awesome story! One of my favorites in the series. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Seduced by Snowfall is the third novel in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series which can be read as a standalone or as the third novel in the series, a fake-relationship romance and told in the third-person point of view.
EMT and firefighter, Nate has a big heart, loves everyone and is loving his life. Nate has sworn off serious relationships after a tragedy during his childhood but after being set up on a date with the new town doctor, Nate is starting to see things differently. Bethany is still trying to please her father and live up to his standards of the way that he thinks is acceptable. When she lies to her father and stepmother the last thing she expects is for her whole family to arrive in Alaska and have to pull off a fake-relationship with Nate to please her father.
I am so in love with the characters in Lost Harbor and it is making me want to visit Alaska again more than I already did. I loved the way Nate and Bethany's relationship grew over the novel even though they basically realized from the beginning that they were into each other but let the attraction grow. Jennifer Bernard has you smiling and laughing through most of this novel and it has become my favourite of the series. Jennifer Bernard is now one of my new favourite authors and I can not wait to return to Lost Harbor, Alaska.

This is shaping up to be a series I wish would never end. There's just something about this small Alaskan town with its rustic charm, quirky characters and wildlife sightings that has me returning to Lost Harbor every chance I get. Not to cast aspersions on the other books in the series, but this is the best book yet.
Nate Prudhoe is a Lost Harbor lifer and part of the very fabric of Lost Harbor. Always ready to lend a hand, it’s people like this volunteer firefighter who make this community a family. Charming, laid back and easy going, Nate hides a bundle of grief and regret beneath that façade.
Bethany Morrison, the new doctor at Misty Bay Regional Hospital, is smart and accomplished, but a part of her is still trying to measure up to her judgmental father's unrealistic expectations. She thinks that dating the hospital's neurologist might win her father's respect, but fate has a different plan. Whether it's the close proximity due to their complementary careers and life in a small town, or a person in need uniting them, it doesn’t take long before the idea of dating anyone else isn’t even a consideration.
It’s time to get cozy and comfortable and prepare for Nate and Bethany to steal your heart. Oh! Oh! Oh! How can I write how much this story just about knocked my socks off? For me, it hit all the “feels” that I so enjoy when reading a book. I will settle for saying that I just loved these two, and all the assorted characters – even the stoopid ones – really add so much to their story.
At a high level, Bethany Morrison is a new doctor to Lost Harbor, Alaska and has already been, let’s call it indoctrinated into life in a small, tightknit town. The hero, Nate Prudhoe, has lived here most of his life, is an EMT, all around great guy, wonderful friend…and sort of the good-time guy everyone wants to spend time with because he makes them feel good. Bethany is a classic overachiever who is still trying to impress her father, and just about everyone else, and it often ends up putting her in embarrassing and funny situations. That’s an extremely simple explanation to the very beginnings of the relationship for these two.
I loved that both these characters are a bit broken but neither of them can really see that in themselves. Of course, they know what the other person needs to do/believe/change in order to live an HEA, but nah, they don’t need any help themselves.
Nate and Bethany are adorable together, even when they are pretend-dating. Some of their antics will crack you up. When they work as a team to help a young girl? It will squeeze your heart. Loved, loved, loved their story and as I got closer to the end of the book, I was screaming for them to make it work. Seduced by Snowfall is the most entertaining book I’ve read in a long while. Seduced by Snowfall is the third in the Lost Harbor series by Jennifer Bernard. It is even better than the first one, Mine Until Moonrise. One thing about this series, Ms. Bernard not only fleshes out the characters, she adds in so many factoids about Alaska and I’m learning so much about Alaska. In addition to enjoying a HEA story I want to learn real life facts. Double my experience. Seduced by Snowfall is the courtship of Bethany and Nate, who we met in the previous books in the series, another things I like about these books. Bernard really brings everyone in the community together. Bethany is a new doctor from Vermont?? To Alaska. Nate Prudhoe is a hometown boy, although he has traveled extensively. The story starts slow and I even thought I’d missed a chapter it took me a while to get settled in to what was going on with their first date, or non-date as Bethany insisted it was. Bethany is extremely serious and organized. Nate is known as the fun, easygoing EMT for the town of Lost Harbor, everyone’s friend. Both have a lot of issues to work through, and true to Bethany’s sister’s prediction, Bethany seduces Nate by snowfall. This is truly an entertaining story. It’s so funny but has some serious moments, too. I just did not want it to end. I cannot wait until book 4 comes out. I have to find out what happens to Gretel, to Spruce Grouse, and even Darius. I don’t want to give too much away but everyone should read this book.

I adore the town of Lost Harbor! Nate is now one of my favorite people living there, I'm totally smitten! He's witty, adorable, and so proud of where he grew up, I want to keep him in my pocket and carry with him with me because he makes me smile. Seduced By Snowfall is fun, steamy and so full of charm, you'll love it!!

They seem like polar opposites with her perfectionist personality and his laid back charm, but where he has edges she has curves and they fit together perfectly.
Bethany moved as far away as possible from her perfectionist expectectation father, but she never stops trying to please him and makes up a fictional boyfriend. That plan backfires when her father lands in Alaska and thankfully Nate, the easy-going Nate, steps up and helps her out.
Nate is the guy in town that everyone goes to for help. Yes, he's an EMT/firefighter, but his personality is hard not to like. That is until he meets Bethany. She is the first woman he strikes out with, but if she wants to friendzone him he supposes he'll have to live with it, until he becomes her fake boyfriend.
If you haven't begun this series, you can pick it up at anytime. Seduced By Snowfall is a great addition to the series, but can be read as a complete standalone too.

I loved Nate and Bethany’s love story in Seduced by Snowfall by Jennifer Bernard, book three in her Lost Harbor, Alaska series. Firefighter Nate Purdhoe is the fun guy and tends to be there for anyone who needs assistance. That includes rescuing Dr. Bethany Morrison, new to Lost Harbor, taking her to dinner, and being her fake boyfriend when she needs one. Bethany is used to be the responsible one and doesn’t take Nate seriously. When Nate discovers a mysterious injured runaway hiding out in the firehouse and needs her help, Bethany is there. As fall turns into winter and these two spend more time together their fake relationship starts to feel more real. Nate swore that he would never love another person but Bethany has gotten under his skin and into his heart. Bethany finds that Nate’s laid-back fun matched her seriousness, encouraging her that it was okay to have fun. Getting caught up in a snowstorm is the impetus they need to see that it’s okay to let down the walls and go after the love they each need.
Ms. Bernard wrote an amazing, sexy and magical story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Nate and Bethany a chance at opening their heart to a forever love. I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. I really enjoyed it! There was some great humor and the characters were very well developed. I know this is book 3 in the series but this is the first one I have read and can honestly say that you don't need to read the first two to read this one.
This book follows Nate, an EMT/Fireman who has lived in Lost Harbor his whole life, and Bethany, a transplant doctor from the East coast. Nate is your typical fun loving guy always out to make everyone smile; behind that smile there are definitely some emotional barriers. Bethany is whip smart and a bit OCD/controlling; she is perpetually trying to earn her father's approval. There is an undeniable attraction from the get go between Bethany and Nate however Nate doesn't do emotional attachments and Bethany doesn't feel Nate fits what she is looking for in a partner. They throw caution to the wind and decide to have a "good time" but it starts to backfire on them when emotions get involved.
Throw in Bethany's crazy and quirky younger sister and a stowaway at the firehouse and you have the recipe for a lot of crazy situations.
Overall I would definitely recommend. It was funny and very well written. My only complaint was that the book did jump around a couple of times that I had trouble following. But I easily got back on track though. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!!

Absolutely loved it! This series makes me want to go to Alaska just to witness all that snow. It seems so magical! I love these characters. Bethany, the forever responsible doctor and Nate, the fun, easy going, casual EMT have a shaky beginning but, when Bethany gets tripped up on a lie she tells her dad and stepmother, Nate is right there covering her back and just rolling with the situation. This forges their path in a totally different direction and they ignite into passion. Their chemistry sizzles even in a snowstorm. They both have some issues that pose as walls in their lives and Bethany and Nate must figure out what they truly want out of life so, that leads to an interesting relationship journey.
Gretel, Bethany's sister is a whirlwind that brings a lightness Bethany's serious life and their mutual sister worship is precious. The mysteriousness of S.G., the seemingly orphaned/runaway is an interesting twist to the dynamic between Bethany and Nate. The way that they both try to do right by S.G. goes above and beyond what a lot of people would do. Their care, tenderness and respect for the young girl speaks volumes about their characters.
I found this story to be bittersweet for many reasons as well as, charming, inspiring and a completely perfect romance. I continue to highly recommend this series.

I was enthralled from beginning to end. As with all Ms Bernard’s books, once opened, I weave my “Do-not-disturb-until-further-notice Cloak” around me. With her characteristic descriptive style, she does not skimp on detail. She seduces her readers, from page one to The End, transporting them to Alaska.
Quote: “She stared out at the drifts of snow… —everywhere outside, … And the wind—it kept shaking the truck, which was one of those big work trucks that looked invulnerable. It whipped the snow into mini-tornados that danced in the road like wraiths. And yet through it all, Nate stayed unfazed.”
This from Bethany. The Nerdy Medical doctor, who always follows the rules and describes herself as “underconfident and slightly anxious”.
And Nate? The accomplished EMT. And Joker. The always-up-for-a-good-time-guy. A mask to hide his sadness? And of course, drool-worthy. No wonder Bethany loses her cool with him, falls hook line and sinker and turns into a Femme Fatale! Or is it a “Hot Tamale”...
There is as much heartache as there is healing in this book. Most endearing is Girl, included in Nate and Bethany’s “us”, unknowingly helping to cement the relationship. From casual sparking chemistry to much more.
Highly recommended.

I wanted to really like this book and don't get me wrong, it was an okay read but just okay. The heroine is a doctor who despite interviewing at several hospitals only got offered a job in this small Alaska town which seemed a bit out there considering the need for GP's everywhere, but it made for a nice setup. Bethany has a self esteem problem stemming from her inscent need to please her hard to please father and honestly that was part of my problem with this book. She's smart, she got a medical degree, and she makes her own money but she still feels she isn't good enough, not pretty enough, not anything enough and yeah...that got old really quick. Life of the party, confirmed bachelor EMT Nate meets Bethany in a cute way and they are set up by one of Bethany's patients on a blind date that she dreaded but he was happy to be on. Honestly I didn't feel the chemistry between them much at all. The last book in this series was mostly sweet, this one was more on the sexy side but it just didn't work because it seemed forced even their "dirty" talk. I loved this book, but I’m not gonna lie...I really wanted to slap a Bethany through half of it! She’s so busy thinking she knows what she wants in a man that she almost misses what she NEEDS in a man. And that man is Nate Prudhoe. She thought his jokes and lighthearted personality made him somehow less serious about life. But she soon learns that the jokes cover something far more serious.
Nate was simply awesome and very honest about the way he lived his life. Even more than his relationship with Bethany, I loved his interaction with SG! This told me everything I needed to know about the heart of Nate.
Gretel was a nice bit of fluff, and I bet she’s going to meet her match in a future book. I’d really love to see stories for Maya and Chief Boone, too, because although Seduced by Snowfall is Bethany and Nate’s love story, Jennifer Bernard has created such wonderful secondary characters that you can’t help but want to learn more about them, too.
While Seduced by Snowfall is book three in the Lost Harbor series, it can be read on its own. I loved this one the most...so far! I can’t wait to see what Bernard is cooking up for us next!

I simply loved this book. This book is part of the Lost Harbor Series and was a great addition. If you haven’t read the other books in the series and are one that likes to know the background of characters, you probably will want to go back and read the first two installments (Mine Until Moonrise and Yours Since Yesterday).
These books are set in the small Alaskan harbor town called Lost Harbor. I think everyone has been to a town like this. While reading you really can picture yourself right in the midst of things. Like many small towns though its full of secrets and always a bit of drama.
In Seduced by Snowfall we follow the story of local Nate Prudhoe and newcomer Bethany Morrison. Nate is an EMT and works for the fire department. He’s lived in Lost Harbor his entire life and has definitely had his share of heartache. Beth is a doctor who has come to Lost Harbor to escape the pressure that her dad has put on her to become one of the best doctors with all the “fame” that goes along with it. Will Beth be able to break free of the hold her dad has over her and be allowed to be happy? And will Nate be able to overcome the guilt that he holds from something that happened many years ago?
If you’re looking for a book to snuggle up with to get you through winter then I would definitely recommend this one. Every page has you yearning for more wanting to hear more of the story. Jennifer Bernard is just one of those authors that makes reading fun and easy!

This series just gets better
Back in Lost Harbor Alaska. Nate, as we know is an EMT/fireman and everyone’s friend. Born and raised in Lost Harbor he lives in the beautiful family built house way up on a hill. If you look deeply their is pain and loss hidden in Nate’s eyes.
Bethany, a doctor headed to Lost Harbor to basically avoid her father, whom she could never please along with step mother number three. Being a doctor doesn’t count for much in her father’s eye. Maybe is she could hook the traveling neurosurgeon that might change her fathers mind.
Bethany and Nate meet while Bethany gets locked out of her home, in a towel, trying to take a picture of a moose. Mrs. Bellini tries to play matchmaker. Nate finds and friends a mountain girl hiding out in the fire station. Nate asks Bethany for some help. Shame they had to get snowed in together.
Step sister Gretel is in town, also away from Daddy. Bethany and Nate each have war stories growing up. Watch how Lost Harbor weaves its magic.
At the end of this ebook was the offer of a short store with Theo on Christmas Eve called: Stormy with a Chance of Christmas.

I really enjoyed this book. Bethany is the doctor who thinks she knows what and who she wants in a man. Nate is the easy going EMT who everyone knows and loves. S.G. is a young girl who needs help, but gives Nate and Bethany a run fire their money.

4 1/2 snowy stars!! I really enjoyed this book so much! Nate and Bethany may not appear to be the best match for each other at first but it isn't long before it all comes in to view and you can totally see them making a life together in Lost Harbor. Fake relationships are always so fun because you just know they won't stay that way forever not when there is clearly chemistry between the couple. I pretty much wanted to smack Bethany upside the head at first because she couldn't see past Ian. I honestly love Nate and Bethany despite any imperfections/faults we see because that is what makes them so relatable and lovable. I love their interactions and how they work together for S.G.'s sake. Bethany's sister Gretel is a great character too. I love this series both for the wonderfully complex characters Jenny Bernard gives us but also for the stunning location that her detailed description allows you to feel like you are experiencing first hand. Another fantastic book in this series!
