The sloth is the spirit animal and patron saint of the “slow movement.” This gentle mammal that takes nearly a month to digest a single leaf has a lot to teach us about slowing down and taking things easy. This beautifully illustrated, interactive journal is filled with quotes, prompts, and exercises for getting us to do less to achieve more. And once you are in the zen zone, there are other behaviors that sloths can teach us like smiling, even when life’s a struggle, and sleeping more.
🌿 Book Review: Find Your Inner Sloth by Oliver Luke Delorie
Find Your Inner Sloth is a charming, motivational, and delightfully idealistic book that encourages readers to embrace the art of slowing down. With its blend of mindful reflections and journaling prompts, it gently invites you to explore the philosophy of “slow living” to pause, breathe deeply, and notice the world around you, just like a sloth would.
Oliver Luke Delorie uses the sloth as a beautiful metaphor for peaceful, intentional living. The writing feels soothing and reflective, reminding us that it’s okay to move at our own pace and find contentment in simplicity.
This book is perfect for anyone who loves to romanticize slow living, those who long to reconnect with themselves, nature, and the quiet moments of life. A simple yet powerful read that inspires mindfulness in the most endearing way.
