I seriously could not put this book down. It had me living vicariously through Tate and I need more. The sex, the drama, and the moral delimas and guilt that keeps popping up in Tate's mind had me on the edge of my chair and hot and heavy for more. I love the spunk she has and determination but also had a few moments of seriousness that hit home. This hot and heavy RH is like a wet dream of its own and I am so excited for Tate's Trial.

Loving the character evolution of Tate and her men on this book. We learn more about the academy as well. She finally gets to admit she loves more than one of them and some of the scenes are STEAMY. Great second book of the series.

In the first book "Tate's Tale" it ended with Francis fighting an incubus to protect Tate, he's being drawn away to the nothingness of Nyx, with Tate holding on refusing to letting go. Can a series get even better...why yes, yes it can. The relationships from past lives to present between Tate, Francis, Robert, Caleb and Nameless are becoming clearer. The heat ratchets up from hot to scorching. The Gods are still in the mix and more mysterious things are happening to Tate as old friends reunite.
I have so many mixed emotions for Tates men, I want to shake Robert, jump Francis's bones, scratch sweet Caleb behind the ears, and do a scene with Nameless. Trust me, the kink ratchets up by several degrees....sigh!!
Highly recommended for those who love your stories with lots of yummy sex and a little bit of kink added into the mix with strong characters and a storyline that captures from the very beginning. All leading to an "Oh Crap!" moment at the end.

Like a growing vine, we are tangled up in the intrigue and the emotions of Tate. Book 2 in the Sexy Sins Retreat series allows us to move deeper in to the relationship bonds she has with her four mates, while Tate’s Task, as the new director, round out her newly forming friendships among her staff.
But most important? Tate is finding, through deep reconnections within her own sexuality, a freedom to allow her wants and needs to be met.
Scrumptious.

So this was just an ok read to me. A lot better than the first. Maybe I don't understand the plot. She was sent to this school for a reason right, but that part is hardly touched on. The characters are fantastic and I guess steamy to some but the whole submissive deal just has me rolling my eyes.

First thing - the book blurbs are shit. The mate being snatched - this thing happen and is resolved within a chapter. Everything continues with BDSM manual, some sex scenes ensue. I thought I could work over it but I found everything distressingly boring and I managed to finish the book but will not be continuing over.

Getting kinky...
And I’m loving it! Francis and Tate’s chemistry is hot hot hot, and when Robert and Francis play off each other, the heat level cranks up to scorching. I can’t wait to see how Nameless and Caleb fit into the dynamic.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Things are really getting good now! Tate is starting to settle in now and is able to admit that she has feelings for all of the men though still plenty of questions. This ramps up the steam level quite a few degrees but then one of them is taken making a rescue operation needed. Lots of character development but thanks to the Gods interference there is still quite a way to go. A great addition to this series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
