Rate this book
Múdrosť, ktorá vychádza zo srdca. V tejto knihe nájdete stovky povzbudení a rád. Kedy povedať synovi áno a kedy povedať nie? O domácich maznáčikoch, o výmysloch, o prvých láskach, o vzťahoch k dievčatám a o tom, ako si získať životne dôležitý rešpekt a dôveru.

I am sorry that I even spent money on this book. This book should be Mother to Son Shared heteronormative Christian wisdom from the heteronormative Christian heart. Ugh. Not me at all. Just assume your son is going to only want to date girls and obviously you will want him at church. Also, the assumption is that he obviously has a Dad and that there is no way you'd be a single mom. Even without these huge issues, some of the advice is so dumb that any good stuff got lost because of everything working against it. For example, "Ask him to please never get a tattoo involving the word Mom." WHY? If my son wants a tattoo that says Mom I would be so honored. Also, "Remind him that passing gas is only hysterically funny to other boys." Wrong. 32 year old woman here. Still think farts are hilarious.

I LOVED this little book! 6 stars! It’s not a heavy read, there’s only a sentence or two on each page. But it goes through motherhood from infancy to adulthood, and the different stages of loving your son well. It’s cute and super practical wisdom. I will definitely be referring back to it through each new stage we enter.

I think this book, more than anything, made me appreciate the 'little stuff' that boys do. It isn't a book that I pick up for minutes at a time, but one that I open up to a random page and just smile at, putting it down, and re-opening it at a random occasion.

It's very cute and inspiring, in its own way.
