The Ariel Kimber series is one of my all time favorites and a large reason why is because Mary Martel gifts us with these Novellas.
Coincidentally my favorite boy usually changes after every pov novella that I read and this time was no different.
With this pov we get a more in depth look at exactly just horrible Dash had it growing up. My heart broke for him while reading this and I got to see just what makes him so perfect for Ariel. They help each other because they understand the ugliness of each others past.
While these povs aren't exactly "plot progressive" they are extremely important to the storyline in my point of view.
The Ariel Kimber series is heavily focused on family and the fact that you get decide who gets to claim that title. Family is everything for Ariel and her boys and I think that's what makes these pov's important. Dash is extremely selfless and would truly do anything for the people that he loves and tries his hardest to protect them all and I love him so much. Thank you Mary Martel.
Read these books because you will not regret it. ❤

Oh wow Mary!!! Hearing about Dash just wrecked me. He is one of my favorites and honestly after reading this, I just love him even more. I enjoy novella's because they give us more information on a favorite character, or just help us understand the story better. So getting to know Dash better, was a real treat. If you love this series as much as I do, then this is a definite add to your library.

Loved Dash

Dash novella was absolutely amazing and pulls on your heart and leaves you feeling what he felt as a little boy growing up with his family. The bond between him and Ariel is so deep that they take it to the next level and it was absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to read the next book within this series

Holy dash-amole🖤🧡🖤🧡

These novellas are everything Dash does not disappoint but these books never do Exact opposite actually. Dont get me wrong I absolutely love the Ariel Kimber series and the bigger the book The better cuz I love this world but in my mind the novellas are part of the series which I mean they are.  I love this part of the series being able to focus in on a specific character and their POV but we still get other character povs when needed and lots of other character interaction then lots of stuff moving the plot along.
I love how with so many interesting characters so many interesting guys that they are getting their own books where the story is centered on them yet just like with  books it's also not just about them. Dash is send it on him but also on everyone in their little family every character made an appearance in this book but it's like with Dash It's primarily his POV and then sometimes you get a couple other characters POV and in Dash you get a few chapters with Ariel's POV you get some remembering flashbacks a Dream from dashes past that helps give some more insight into it and him you know revealing things but this book primarily moves the story forward. It moves the relationship forward it moves the overall series forward and most importantly
IT IS SO ENJOYABLE getting sucked into this book... takes me right back into that world and that's all I know while I'm in it. I can't get enough of every word every scenario every plot every interaction it is also well written and I just love this world.
I always liked dash but this book made me really fall for Dash I really liked hearing how he felt from his perspective and how he loved Ariel. I really liked hearing his perspective on the other guys and their relationship with Dash I'm getting a peek inside of his head. I also really like that every character was included in this book. We got a little bit from every guy. I really liked seeing more Tyson in this book in relation to Dash and seeing Dash and quinton's relationship as well. I also really liked getting to see some more of Julian and whats building with his kind of ither intense side this guys who likes chick flicks and tearjerkers  but also has  this other  side that is very intriguing . What sums it up with juilan is a great  scene im Dash where he's watching Twilight and his commentary on that lol and tale on characters... you will see what i mean and I think it's very saying to his character and I'm really starting to be intrigued by that kind of character so I look forward to his book I mean I don't know whose book I look forward to next more probably all equally at this point but I hope that they all get their own books because I absolutely love it.
But back to the point it was interesting to see Dashes relationship but how he described it with each character it was interesting to see him move forward and Ariel and Dash move forward and learn a little more about Binx. This book picks up where Rain left off... so let me stress again that these novellas are part of the real story they are not perspectives from the characters from past books they are new books new things happening and I love them and I absolutely love Dash I think I smiled the whole time I read the book no matter what I read because I just loved being enthralled in that world and it was so good so enjoyable.
I really will take any bit of this world I can get this is my favorite book world and this is my favorite book series. I used to be a TV and movie now it's all about the books for me and I say with absolute certainty that this is my favorite series my favorite book world my favorite book boyfriends and I just feel like there's so much more to discover with each character and I love that these books give us a chance for us to really get into the character without having something big looming over I mean they're still stuff looming over but it's not focused on that I just love the way that this series it's doing this with these novellas and I love Josh's books and I can't wait for the next Ariel book end next novella in anything in this world.
I love this world and i need it in my life i hope they do for years to come. Tha k you Mary Martel ;)
I loved DASH every bit of this book ans you will too. Read it and if your new start the Ariel series you will love it.

Dash by Mary Martel
I receive this book from the author for an honest review.
I think each book I fall more in love with Dash but LAWD don’t let Uncle Quint know I admitted this. He is super growly at times.
For all of you Dash lovers, this book is just what you wanted and expected. I am a HUGE fan of these POV books of the men in Ariel’s lives. I love seeing Ariel with the guys in the large books, but I really love these novellas because we can see Ariel and the guy bonding and growing in love. We can see them sharing experiences that will be special to them only, but we get to see all the inside details of each relationship. The large books are full of twists and new drama, but these novellas slow it down for us a bit to see the relationships growing and developing. Any who that is just my 5 cent opinion.
So Dash….Dreamy sigh ladies….DREAMY SIGH!!! We finally see more of the way his life was when he was a child and friends….my heart just couldn’t handle it. We also get to learn a bit about Binx and again my heart!!!
Ariel and Dash are reconnecting in this book because so much has happened and they both feel a bit lost without the other. They have a special bond…over blood and pain…the others don’t understand but that is what makes their relationship so important and extra special. Sorry Quint but you gotta just deal with that little bit of information. *pats Quintons head while he pouts*
Again this book is helping us reconnect the two and lawd was it a good reconnection!! HEEEYY!! *Wink* But we also see some new things happening…Like the stuff Baxter lets slip and Isobel and Rain plus Rain and the council. I love how this book ended and can’t wait for the story to continue to unfold.
But friends, I am really really looking forward to Juls and Ariel’s book. Something about this broody sweetheart makes me again turn my head. Each layer of this man that is unveiled ….yeah I just kinda sigh…..

Book:"It'd be a lot funnier if Ariel couldn't always immediately tell the difference between us and our voices."

ME: !!!?!?! I read in the story from Ariel's point of view that she had trouble recognizing their voice from time to time... or am I a m*ron.

Book:"I never should have lied."

ME: Keep calm. Everyone in your coven has this problem, and they always have a long internal monologue about it, just like you. Okay... I haven't read it from all points of view yet, but I can imagine it.

Book:"off of it."

ME: For the second time? My tongue is broken.

Book:"What was he going to put in there, his d*ck?"

ME: Really? Was that supposed to be funny?

Book:"4. Ariel Kimber"

ME: So we have a novella from Dash's point of view, and there's a chapter from Ariel's point of view. I see. This sh*t again. Why?! Can't the author simply choose one narrator for one fu*king book?

Book:"I blinked back tears as I lifted the small cat up into my arms and cuddled him against my chest. His little engine purred loudly as he rubbed the side of his face against my chest, scenting me."

ME: Again, I remembered how I hated Ariel for blabbering on about stealing the cat for herself.

Book:"Dad"

ME: Probably the only good chapter in the whole book.

Book:"His claws sunk into Quinton's pants and he started climbing his way up Quinton's distressed jeans."

ME: Finally, after awkward jokes about p*nises, it's a little funny.

Book:"I frowned, the smile immediately disappearing. Now I wanted to go back to being a dick to him because I just had an image of him giving our girl the business."

ME: Seriously? Sometimes I don't get those thought processes.

Book:"I felt regret as soon as the words were out of my mouth."

Me: For the millionth time?

Book:"It would never get old, seeing her smile, even though it was something she now freely shared amongst our family. Months ago, I would have stopped and stared at the sight of that smile. Now it was starting to seem like an everyday occurrence, even though it still did funny things to my heart."

ME:Finally! The endless bullsh*t about her rare smile is over.

Sometimes I am on the fence with these character-focused novellas but I thought the last 2 were great and am excited to read Quinton's next. This one is full of devastation, seeing what Dash went through, all he endured. No wonder he acted the way he did with Ariel right off the bat. I can now see why he has his tendencies and love him even more for them. I was kinda irked by Ariel in this one, almost gave this a 4 stars just for her alone being such a selfish, self-centered brat. She kept trying to take stuff out of Dash, I couldnt understand why she thought he wasn't including her when he was asking her her thoughts to begin with. Like some things didnt make sense to me, Ariel backtracked on her behavior but the author had a reason to do that so that's that. If it wasn't for Dash I wouldn't have enjoyed this novella and I would have been not as excited to continue on just because I did not like Ariel in this one that much. I think she got better towards the end, but the parts where she was lashing out made me remember how young she is/how juvenile she could be.

I liked seeing more of the new characters, seeing them all as a family (even with their problems) and liked how protective the guys were with Rain when little miss naughty tried to take advantage of him. Also, I love how snarky and BA Baxter is hahaha and his interaction with Dash at the end. Made me giggle so hard with the dessert and stealing his food haha.

Overall still have this 4.5/5 stars (rounding up) because the side characters and Dash were amazing. I like how the author set up for the next book (already devoured on audio haha) and cannot wait to delve back into this world when I have some time to read Quinton. Hope some of the others come on audio soon too, the narrator does a great job bringing these characters to life ❤️

Dash has been damaged beyond repair in his mind by the women who raised him. Abused, physically and emotionally, they broke him as a young boy. They took away the only person in his life who loved him. The only people he trusted in his life were his coven. He took what women offered, nothing more. Then his angel entered his life, became his world.

I have a confession to make. Please don't attack me. I am not a big fan of Dash. There, I said it. Quint is my guy. But that's the great thing about RH. There's a guy for everyone. Even though I am not a "Dasher", I looked forward to this book. I look forward to each release in this series. Mary is such a good writer and the characters are all so real. Their relationship is complicated and messy and I love it. Each opportunity to get to know the characters more, I am in. This was a revealing look into Dash. We knew the gist of his childhood, now we know more. It's ugly. I like Dash more and less after reading this. He has the strength of a survivor. Also, the weakness. He lacks empathy and patience with others. Then as I get frustrated with him, he shows kindness or a level of understanding I didn't suspect. He has depth and I appreciate that. I fear his anger and the harm it can bring to him and his family. I'm hoping that the deep connection he has with Ariel saves him. I can't wait for more.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

Yes, this is all Dash Flynn. Each one of these guys holds a piece of my heart just like they do with Ariel. I am enjoying these novellas in the guy POV. We get to learn more about each of the guys and see the relationships between Ariel and her guys grow.

Dash and Ariel have both been through so much in their lives. They both know the betrayal of those who were suppose to love them not hurt them. We get more of Dash story of growing up though his dreams we see the bad but we also see the good he had with his dad. We get to see the friendships between Dash and the other guys. His thought process of who he will call when he is in different situations and how sometimes things blow up in is face. I loved to see the things that Ariel does for Dash in this book she even involves some of the guys.

That was great to see our Salt and Pepper twins, Tyson, Julian, Damien and we cannot forget Uncle Quinton. I am so excited to get know these guys more. Each one has their strengths and weakness and I love finding out things in these guys past that make them who they are. I cannot wait for more of this series.

AMAZING Mary As Always!! I want more!!😍😘❤
You never disappoint!!

OMG! Poor Dash!!😭
From previous books we get an idea of what his life was like with his mother and grandmother, but this book gives you in detail what it was REALLY like!😭
To see inside his head and feel what he feels and why he feels that way!!
And to know (sort of) what happened to his dad.
It says he was poisoned but this book made me so far if he became something else... A cute furry animal perhaps?... I'm probably wrong but that's the impression I got.. Again I'm probably wrong and just am having a weird conspiracy moment...😅😂
(Shrugs..) Time will tell...

It was also just awesome to be in the Ariel Kimber world again!! I love this series!! And each and every Novella is like looking into your favorite characters souls! I can't wait until we get a Uncle Panty Thief Novella
(Quinton for those who haven't read the series yet!😘and if you haven't what are you waiting for?!)
I recommend this AMAZING Novella and EVERY BOOK IN THE SERIES!!
They are just... I don't even have a word for how EPIC they are! I love the characters and their world! I want it to NEVER END!!

Gosh, if I didn’t already love Dash, this book would have made me fall in love with him in a second. I loved loved loved this book! I finally got to see more into Dash’s head and his memories and his horrific past, but he grows an even stronger connection to his present and future in this book with Ariel. What Ariel’s guys and she did for Dash in the Alexander house was amazing and so sweet. We got to see Dash move on a little in this book and that was incredible. The special connection and love that Ariel and Dash have for one another is so lovely to read, and I didn’t want this book to end for that reason. We learned so much in this book about Dash mainly, but also everyone in their family, and I just can’t wait for book 6! Family is really most important for them and this book really shows it, that’s why I love this book and series so much!!! The Ariel Kimber series will always be one of my top favorite series/reverse-harem series ever. It just gets better with each book and I never want it to end! I highly recommend this book and series!

I am enjoying these novellas and getting a deeper understanding of the fellas, but they are not really moving the storyline along. With that being said, Dash has had a rough life and he so deserves some happiness. He has been abused both physically, mentally and emotionally by his mother and grandmother. Abuse that the council should have never allowed….so the hatred towards the Council has continued for years!

The bond between Dash and Ariel gets stronger, sweeter. Loved finding out about the connection to Binx and that everyone wants to punch Quint in the face. The fellas are back in full force to help both Dash and Ariel make the official move to the big house – which was a huge step for both of them.

Not sure where the storyline is going with Baxter and Isobel, but I really like Baxter and I really dislike Isobel. Guess I will have to continue on to the next book in the series to see what happens.

I love this world so much! These POV books from the boys are just everything. I’ll take anything I can get from Ariel and her boys. I adore getting into the boys heads and seeing what they’re thinking and feeling. It’s just some really beautiful insight into their relationships. Not just their relationship with Ariel, but their relationships as a Coven. My gingery Dash is no different. While one of the most vocal anti-Ariel voices in the beginning, we see, from his own perspective, exactly how the tables have turned. Now. I’m gonna go sit in the corner and wait for the next installment. (Dang, I hope it’s Uncle Panty Thief! I can’t wait to see how his crazy mind works....)

So let’s be real. Dash is my new favorite. I mean come on, can he be any more perfect for Ariel? In this book, we get to see so much more of who Dash is. But we also get to see the Ariel that is so much more with Dash too. The love between those two is so sweet and perfect. Now that Dash’s cottage has been damaged, they are staying at uncle Qs. Which is enough to raise any ones hackles. So it’s no surprised we see issues pop up between not just Ariel and dash but everyone. We get to see Dash sweet, scary, enraged, and my favorite moody. Ice cream cake for the win. Honestly Uncle Q has work to do or Dash will forever be my number 1. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

I really enjoy the Ariel Kimber series and am particularly enjoying the novellas we are getting along the way from the various other characters in Ariel's life.
It was great seeing into the mind of Dash. I love Dash, he is one of my favourites of Ariel's men. He is as damaged and emotionally wounded as Ariel is (which we learn more about in this book) but still shows her how much he cares for her.
As I said, I already love Dash and his novella has just proven why I love him. This is a must read in the series not just because of what it adds to the story but because of Dash. Five stars from me.

Tangled up in Silver....

An absolutely stunning piece by Mary Martel. You loved Tyson and his needed friendship, we fell for Rain when he reunited with his daughter and took on two new charges.
This novella brings you so much peace with our favorite bearded ginger.
I loved Dash from his first standoffish appearance. However, after reading Dash's story, I fell head over heels again and again.
I had to reread it again. So much pain turned to beauty when he finds his peace in Ariel.
I cannot recommend this novella enough!! Stop what you're doing and start reading it now!!
Dash is going to make it difficult for us to not compare the men in our lives to him.

Oh Dash our loving, dark brooding, scared soul, ginger its his turn his story and I’m all for it. Dash is trying to find his place in life learning how to move on after the horrible house fire that took place at his cottage. Getting drunk and smashing shit with a sledgehammer, wasn’t the answer he was looking for, getting help from his brothers and Ariel would be the thing that helps him relax a bit, move on, and learn to realize that you can still have a memory without having a place to live where all horrible things happened to you. Ahh i jut over this novella Dash is just someone you want to hug and tell them everything is going to be ok.

Some slow sections

I actually did like parts of this quite a bit. It was really good. And others are just to slow I did feel the need to skim through. But the good parts definitely makes this worth reading g. I also li e that even if Dash has been abused as a child he is still kind and caring especially towards people he loves. It can be a bit tiring of abused people always ending up twisted and dark, because that is not true. A lot of people actually become some of the kindest people to exist since they know how painful life can be. And Dash is one of those kindest people to exist hidden behind a grumpy attitude.

I already loved Dash, it’s a toss up between him and the twins for me as favourites so I was super excited to read the Dash book! My love for Dash is cemented after reading this. I love that the books from the guys point of views aren’t just a retelling of parts of the story from their point of view but new parts of the story. The part about Dash and his dad made me desperate to go back in time and save them both, and the scene in his dream with Ariel had me cheering her on. Another wonderful part of the Ariel Kimber story, that left me both supremely satisfied and desperate for more!!

I thought I waited patiently for this one but when it landed I found I jumped in to be soon swept away once more in this world. Dash has been intriguing with now he was consuming. He will own your heart then you get where his heart goes. The emotions also this author pulls from you while you read what is part of what was is a ride also. This one also kinda will pull it together bringing a whole 3d world for you to be in. You get whom and how he really loves with the rawness love needs. This was much needed with now I am exhausted needing to catch that breath.

Dash and Quint are my favourites and getting this novella POV from Dash was great. There is so much love and passion between he and Ariel it makes me melt, swoon and horny all at once. This is one of my absolute favourite series because every single character has an incredible and heartbreaking backstory and it takes them a while to feel like they deserve love. They all have fantastic personalities and Mary Martel never fails to make me both laugh and cry while I read her books. I loved this.

I just fell in love with Dash all over again! If I didn't already love him I definitely would after reading this novella! We got to learn more about what Dash went through as a kid which was just utterly heartbreaking. Him and Ariel are so good together, they have their first kind of falling out but they are soon back to normal again. You get to see their relationship grow which is perfect. I think this has been my favourite novella so far! Love it.

Dash!

I already loved Dash but seeing things from his past and seeing his thoughts I fell a little more in love with this fictional character. Mary Martel has a way of sucking you in from page one and then going and pushing your heart to it’s limits. I love this character! Actually I love this whole series.

Things to know:This is an RH series and the books (including the novellas) all need to read in the order written!

Ok so Dash and Binx have been my favorite since book 1, so I was thrilled to get a novella of just Dash!! I loved this for many reasons, but most of all is we get to see who Dash is under it all, how much he needs and truly loved Ariel and his Coven!! Thanks Mary for letting me glimpse inside his head for a bit. Can't wait for what's next!!!

I absolutely loved this book! If Dash wasn't already one of my favorites, he would be after reading this. These novellas offer insight into the minds of the guys and offer up the goings on between main storylines. So if you haven't been reading them, your gonna be lost.

If you’ve been reading the Ariel Kimber novels you probably already love Dash. This novella will be the cherry on top of your Dash cake. I always love when writers give you the male POV’s in their novels but Mary Martel takes it to the next level by giving you a whole novella from your guy’s point of view. It’s been one of my favorite things about reading this series.

I NEED MORE!

Yes, I knew it was a novella going into this, but it doesnt stop me from throwing a gosh-darned toddler tantrum bc just as I thought the book had gotten to a great place....BOOM. THE. END. *pout* But that in itself should say a lot considering the last little bomb thrown at us in the last page. I NEED MORE. stat. pronto. GIMME.
