Sigh....I love Magnus. And Kaitlyn. And I can’t get enough of this story. And I’m glad things seem to be headed to happier directions for Hayley. But nothing happens easily or in a straight line, (cause where’s the fun in that?)or even when you thing they’ve gotten past some big thing, you never really know, because it’s time travel. So at anytime, maybe 3 books later, BAM! they could figure out they mucked it all up & need to start all over OR maybe that could muck it all up? And it can all be so confusing to keep it all straight- they should really be writing it down somewhere or something. (Good thing we have an author keeping it straight for us) 😊Or maybe they have, cause no spoilers. You won’t be disappointed. There is much resolved & some scary things, but happy things too. I had all the feels & had to lose the contacts because of the tears. Can’t wait for the next one. ❤️
All books in this series are 5stars! Characters are so real, flawed yet wonderful! They leave you wanting more! As soon as one crisis is resolved another one begins, and yet there’s just enough normalcy( and great food!) to keep it real.
Situations progress nicely in this book. It was a little surprising but interesting to read ten chapters on Hayley's time travel experience. I suspect we will get her story completed by the end too since she is the best friend. It must be very difficult writing a story that is twelve books long, making each one of them a complete feeling subset of the total, keeping the characters true to their own characteristics, keeping a reader's interest up through out and wanting more. Much sad and appreciation goes to the author's creative talent!!
Another great book in Katie’s and Mags’ story. I really enjoyed this book, just like I’ve enjoyed the 8 books before this one. Half way through the book, I would have given it 4 stars, but then it got so much better towards the end that it deserves a 5 star. A lot of «problems» and dangers that have been hunting them from the previous books, have now been dealt with. I liked that they got a happy ending in this book, yet there is still room for so much more drama and fun things to happen.

I started this series with trepidation but as the books flow along and the supporting family ‘ stories grow it becomes so much more interesting to read. A big shout out to the recognition of Diana Gaboldon and her incredible Outlander series. Parts of the book are very recognisable but we are spared the horrendous evil that Ms Gaboldon describes so meticulously.
Each book gets better and better and this one is the best so far. I know this because I have read them straight through one through nine. I’ll continue on with this epic adventure as I can’t wait to see what happens. I also very much appreciate the nod to Outlander.
I cannot get enough of Magnus and Kaitlyn! I will be sad when I get caught with the series! Then have to wait for the next book! Lol!!! love this author and her writing!
This was a happy crying, rescuing, dangerous kind of story!
This book will either make you cry, laugh, or hate it. Suspense, intrigue , mysterious, just a lot of things happening in this story. Great read page after page. Recommend with a 5 Stars review
Love this book and love the entire series. Can't help but taking it over and over again. Reading my way through yet again while waiting for book #21 to release. Keep up the wonderful job Diana Knightley.
I didn't enjoy this one as much as previous books, so I think I'm done with the series. I'm sure it will go on forever and there just aren't enough travels to keep my interest any more.
Magnus has his kingdom and Kaitlyn is having his baby. Archie is now with them and Kayley went to the past. The Highlander she is in love with may get married.
OMG I couldn't stop reading!! Diana Knightley, you've done it again!! I can't wait for the next adventurer! I just can't wait to hear whether or not Fraoch married Haley!! Here's hoping!
This is the most recent book in the series, "Kaitlyn and the Highlander". I am already going through withdrawals with waiting for the next book, due in April, 2020. This series has been one of the most engaging stories that I have read in a while. I am SO invested in the lives of these people that I have no idea of how I'm going to act when it finally is "The End." I took a big chance when I ordered the first book, not really knowing much about this author. Ms. Knightley had me wrapped up in the story after page 1. As I progressed through the series, I was never certain where the story would lead me, and I ran the gamut of emotions from fear, to intrigue, to swooning (let's face it, Magnus is the MAN!!!), to anger, to bewilderment, to disbelief, to … well, you get the idea. It's an emotional rollercoaster, but one that I willing would buy ticket after ticket for. This ranks as one of my all-time favorite series, and if you give it a chance, I think you will be as impressed as I am. Thank you, Ms. Knightley, for transporting me, literally, to different worlds. :-)
If it were possible, I would give many more stars. This series is the best. All the characters are so well defined, they become family. The love between the characters is unfathomable. Hundreds of years pass and their love is never doubted. I laughed and I've cried with them. Difficult to review because of all the twists and turns they are so incredibly wonderful. I think this author, Diana Knightly could simply produce a book every so often and her following would never become bored.
Like the previous books in this fantastic series, Diana has brought us an amazingly thrilling, edge of your seat, love story, to let us know whats happening in Magnus and Katie's lives. I litterally could not stop reading from page one. The scenes with Archie were huge tear jerker's. I cant say more cause it might be a spoiler so I will stop here with a, if you enjoy time travel romance with kickbutt heroines and gunky kilted hero's that have to deal with a whole lot of crap.... You will fall in love with this series.
This is the best action/ romance/ hot Scottish guy series I’ve read. Book 9-Again my love, came out yesterday and I couldn’t put it down, 24 hours later I’m anxiously awaiting book 10. Great storyline with intriguing characters that you grow to love, and hate, at least some of them. Much more action and adventure than Outlander, and I liked that book as well, but Magnus is HOTTER😍
I don't know how much longer I can hang in there hoping for Kaitlyn and Magnus to find their final Happily Ever After. This couple has been through so much but hopefully they will finally get to spend time together without threats. This book also has a side romance for Haley and hopefully she will a slo get a Happily Ever After also. This book brings some laughs and tears but you can't put it down until you find out what will happen next.
This series has adventures, loves, sadness ,and great joy ,from book one you can't stop reading , this book #9, was so good ,there is so much fun reading this ,you feel as if you are with them and a part of there family ,there is only one thing wrong with this book ,it ended ,, I can't Waite until the next one ,anyone looking for a good book and a good series this is it
