Chains was the eighth book in Chiah Wilder’s Night Rebels MC series.
Chet “Chains” Graver was a patched member of the MC. He was seven years divorced after his wife cheated on him with a now former member of the MC. He now limited his trusted relationships strictly to the club. Brotherhood was family. Family was first.
Autumn Stanford was a vet. She met Chains when she was treating his sick dog, Thor. She was also engaged to his brother at the time - although neither knew the connection.
Wilder took us through their present and past, setting the stage. Then she intersected their lives and the story began. It was told from a dual POV detailing both perspectives and daily activities. I enjoyed the storyline but desired a little more depth and conclusion. It was a quick read so there was plenty of room for a bigger showdown on the two main conflicts. I’d love to see Chains family have more karma inflicted as well as the MC saga fleshed deeper in future books - just a thought, but would be awesome. Additionally, I craved an epilogue.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the characters, the MC loyalty, and the storyline. I’m not sure where Wilder will take us next but we still have several brothers yet to explore so bring it on!

Biker or Brother?!
Chains was the sexy alpha biker who lived his life for his family, the Night Rebels MC. His own family had never believed in him and turned their back on him. He found acceptance with the MC.
Chains was also a guy who loved his dog Thor and that’s where Autumn came into the picture. When Thor got sick he had to rush him to the nearest vet clinic and that’s where he met the sexy vet who he felt a connection with. They had some kind of spark but no way would Chains give into it because he didn’t do relationships with “citizens” especially after his first wife was one and she cheated on him and left him broken. Oh, and there was one more little thing standing in the way of Chains and Autumn…she was engaged.
About the time you thought that was the worst thing, you’ll have to read to see who her fiancé was and you’ll be nodding your head saying “I knew it”!! Bret was not the man that Autumn thought he was and he sure proved it to her time and time again. How could a relationship like that ever hold up, especially when the douche Bret didn’t break up with Autumn through a phone call or even text and he put her life in danger?
This book was a page turner and I couldn’t get enough of Chains with not only the steamy way that he and Autumn connected but the heart that man had and he was willing to give Autumn a chance. I’ve loved this series and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Wow ! What another great read in this on going series as the story was quite captivating along with tons of drama and suspense,action and intrigue and a whole lot of hotness and we loved every bit of it.
The story had an amazing cast of characters that you couldn't help but fall in love with.This was a great addition to this on going series and Chains has now become one of our favorite book boyfriends. We are really loving this series with its amazing characters.

Chains doesn't want a relationship since he was burnt by his "old lady" and a "brother."he is different from his family, but bere has his club family. When his dog has to be taken to the Veterinary, he meets Autumn and there is something smoldering between them... but neither realizes how they are already associated with each other.
Great read, LOVE this series.

Chains by Chiah Wilder is a small town MC love story with a twist. I loved it!
The first chapter was a little choppy. It took me a minute to get the characters straight. But once I did, it was phenomenal. This is the eighth book in the series. Although it was the first one I read, I will go back and read the others in the series. I feel that you can read out of order, well this one at least. Be forewarned that you will see some spoilers though.
Autumn is the girl next door. A veterinarian who falls in love with the pretty boy, Bret, who is a lying jerk. Autumn’s friends and family saw Bret’s true colors before she was able to. She defended him and his choices while also having second thoughts about if they were, in fact, meant to be together.
Bret liked the idea of getting married. But once all the wedding planning got underway it interfered with his way of life and he decided it wasn’t for him. He took the pansy way out instead of being a man and ending it himself.
Chains is the black sheep of the family. He joined an MC and his family doesn’t understand the brotherhood that is the Night Rebels MC. They think that he is a hood rat and needs to clean up his act and find a good girl like his brother Bret did. But what his family doesn’t realize is that he is always cleaning up the golden child, Bret’s messes.
Since Chains never goes to family functions he had never met Autumn. But when his dog, Thor, eats toxic berries and has to be rushed to the new vet in town, they finally meet. As soon as he sees her, there are feelings. When she lets him know she is engaged, he gets mad and doesn’t really understand why. He doesn’t even know her very well, and she’s definitely not part of the MC world. He tries to then stay away from her until, SURPRISE!, she is at the family brunch, to celebrate the engagement.
Will Chains once again clean up Bret’s mess with Autumn? Or will he, in fact, let her know of his feelings, not caring about his brother?

“WOW” If you love MC stories this is definitely NOT one to miss, this is book 8 in the series non of which you need to read prior to this but to get the full impact I suggest you do as they are like family the stories intermingle together through thick and thin, a brotherhood in every sense of the word. This is an amazing book that captivates you from the first page until the last , there’s drama, action intrigue and HOT intense passion. The pages flow flawlessly, the storyline is totally believable and the main characters adorable. Chains a member of the Night Rebel MC whom he loves through and through, it’s the life he has come to respect. When his blue eyed husky eats some poisonous berries he takes it to the local vet who is Autumn Stanford, the attraction is instant, however having had his fingers burnt once by a woman he is not prepared to go there again. Staying with the club women, love them and leave them no commitment involved. His family dynamics were splintered them not understanding the pull of the MC. To appease his mother he agreed to attend a family function what he wasn’t expecting to find there was Autumn and with whom ?? Autumn thought her life was perfect a job she loved, a fiancée who could be a bit of a dick but hey she was planning there wedding, but then it all comes apart, who could be the one person to put it all back together, no spoilers from me. I think Chains could be my new book boyfriend!! The story definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat my mind was on overtime wondering was was coming on the next page. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I am happy to give.

One of my favorite MC stories. Hot guys. Gorgeous dog. Strong independent woman. An obnoxious family. A strong bond of brothers in the MC. They may be one-percenters but they have their own moral code, unconditional loyalty to their club that nothing will break.
Chains loves his brothers and his dog. He loves his mother even if she supports her husband who has been nothing but cruel to Chains, the reason he left home after high school and found a family in the club. Then there is his worthless brother--the one who can do no wrong in his family's eyes.
He doesn't deal with "citizen" women. Done that. Never again. Until he rushes his beautiful dog to the vet. The gorgeous, hot vet. Something clicks and he's pretty sure it isn't a one-way feeling. Even worse when the feeling continues he discovers she's engaged to his worthless brother.
The two have so many reasons to stay away from each other but its the one thing they can't seem to do. While she tries to convince herself she wants the wedding she's planning and spending a fortune on he deals with club business and trying to stay away.
A surprising request brings them back to each other. Is there a chance for them? A future?
With club action, surprises, and steam galore the reader is never quite sure until the end just how this will turn out. Along the way, it is a great ride with a view of two brothers, the good brother is the one no one seems to see as the true, loyal, and moral one.

I really loved the storyline with Chains. The author gave us good read with lots of MC action and romance. If I had to name one complaint it would be that I felt the end was a little rushed and there were a major loose end, in my humble opinion. This did not take away from my enjoyment of the book at all, it just left me wanting to know a few things and a little let down by the ending of the book (I don’t want to be specific in case the author has plans a future book that tie into this one).
Chains comes from a family that doesn’t understand him, they haven’t since he was a young boy and think he’s nothing but a hoodlum. But he is the bad boy we all wish we’d meet. Chains is smart, owns his own business, lives for his club brothers and is bad to the bone when he needs to be. He also happens to love his dog and who doesn’t love a bad boy with a soft spot for animals. But one thing about Chains is he doesn’t do relationships, not since he caught his ex-wife with one of his former club brothers. 'God Forgives, Night Rebels Don’t' and they won’t forgive you if you don’t read Chains and Autumn’s story. Book 8 in the series and the bar has been risen even higher!
This MC series is a top pick for anyone who likes to get down and dirty within the biker world. A little bit of rough a lot of tattoos and a roaring Harley between your legs what more could you need!
Meet Chains the rough-around the edges biker - not always that way but from a young age his family never had anything positive to say about him, harsh words were all he knew when he found the Nights Rebels he found his family not by blood but by loyalty.
But don’t be fooled under that tough exterior their beats the heat of a compassionate and hot male. Chains companion is Thor a Siberian husky and when he is hurt Chains takes him to Autunm the local vet they both can’t deny the chemistry between the two but Autunm is already in a committed relation and about to get married and Chains has vowed never to get involved with a citizen ; the end of the story you would think but fate is a fickle fellow and when even more cracks appear in Autunm's relationship and her 2nd thoughts are now 3rd and fourth and the tattoo biker she just meet makes her feel more safe than her fiancé ever has what do you do well firstly keep your distance but as I say fate is strong thing and when their two worlds collide when they least expect it is either going to go very well or extremely wrong.

Another great addition to the Night Rebels Mc series by Chiah Wilder! I love this MC and while your enjoyment of the brotherhood would be enhanced by getting to know the brothers, Chains is a stand alone novel.
After a nasty divorce from his cheating “citizen”, Chains swears off relationships, especially with women outside the club world. Partaking in only a few liaisons here and there, his brothers of the club and his dog, Thor are all that matter to him. When Thor becomes ill and Chains is forced into the company of the sexy town veterinarian he struggles with his attraction to this outsider. Inexplicably drawn to Autumn, Chains must decide if she’s worth risking his hard won peace and if she could ever fit into his world. When danger comes knocking on her door, Chains realizes it’s not a choice, he simply cannot leave her.
This was a steam filled, and oddly sweet, addition to the series. Chains was definitely rough around the edges but he was protective and sweet with Autumn, who frankly came across as wholly naive (probably my least part of the book, if I’m honest). As always, I enjoyed the brotherhood and camaraderie between the boys but truthfully, it was Chains’ relationship with Thor which truly captured my heart. A great book all around.

OH MY LAWD! The brilliant Chiah Wilder has chained me down completely with Chains. Chains is part of the Night Rebels MC, who lives with some relationship bitterness, as his woman was caught cheating, so now, he's good with just the club girls. However, Chains loves his dog, which I found endearing to be honest, and it's because said dog needed a vet that he came across Autumn, the sexy vet who caught him off guard. However, he's not even trying to get with her because of that cheating woman in his past, but sparks like theirs won't be denied forever. Autumn has the best life, with her successful career, plenty of money, and a fiance, though there's something missing there. It was never so apparent until she met Chains, so now what?! I talked about those sparks, and they were plentiful, so yeah, this is now complicated. Oh, and there's the whole issue of who her fiance is, which had me dropping a great deal of f-bombs since it's about to get even messier. And that's all that I'm going to say about that, as everyone should just hit their one click button to find out how it all pans out! Trust me, you'll be so glad you spent the time in the wonderful world of Ms. Wilder! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I loved Chains, the story and the character himself, he was a tough 1% MC biker sure but also he was a reliable guy who would do anything for his women Autumn and a caring pet owner who loved his dog Thor.
Chains liked his life living with his MC brothers, they were the only ones who gave a damn and had his back, and they could always count on him too. But his best pal was his dog Thor. So when he got sick, Chains rushed him to the nearest veterinary clinic.
Autumn is engaged and trying to arrange her wedding, she also is the towns vet and is asked by Chains to take a look at Thor. Now Autumn is a stunning women, she’s sexy, smart and very engaged but that’s ok. because Chains has decided he’s going to keep his relationship with the pretty vet on a professional level as it’s best to stay away from citizens.
Easier said than done. The attraction between them is instant, and then Chains finds out who Autumn is engaged too, and he’s given a very unpleasant chore by said fiancé....it’s a whole new ball of wax for Chains and Autumn!
A very entertaining story. The character development was excellent and the storyline was very entertaining. A definite must read, I loved it!

Chains is part of the Night Rebels MC. He was once married to a "citizen" who cheated on him with one of his MC brothers. While he's gotten past this, he knows he'll never be with another citizen again. But Chains has a beautiful Siberian Huskie (Thor) who gets really sick and Chains has to rush him to his new vet. The new vet, is the beautiful ad smart woman named Autumn. As soon as they meet, both of them start feeling a strong connection. Chains is definitely a sweet softie under the MC vest. It isn't smoot sailing for Chains and Autumn, but it's definitely a sweet ride.

First of all, I loved this book, the story line, the characters, everything except the ending. I felt there were loose ends that should have been tied up before the book ended. That being said, I really enjoyed the book. I loved Chains (and his dog Thor). He's strong, tough, smart and hot as hell. She's beautiful, smart, sexy, his dog's Vet and engaged. The attraction between these two is instant, although neither make a move. Over the course of time that she is treating his dog, he notices it, he feels it, but when she says she's engaged, he shuts himself out of her life. When he finds out who she's engaged to he nearly loses it. But when he is begged by her fiance to break the engagement, he's livid that he has to be the one to break her heart, but even if he's not into the woman stuff, he does one hell of a job comforting her.
Action packed read with some really great heat between the sheets, this is a wonderful read, even if I wasn't crazy about the unfinished feel to the ending. I still highly recommend this read.

Well what can I say..... Another great book to read! Autumn a good girl wanting a great start to her engagement with the man of her dreams, so she thinks. She has taken pride at having her own Vet clinic and loves her furry patients. And Chains the man who will never ever get with a citizen because of his past. How will and how do these two people from such two different worlds collide. Well Thor decides to eat some berries and has to be rushed in for treatment at you guessed it Autumn’s practice, and when Chains she’s her these feelings that he is getting are out of this world. How can a simple citizen get this kind of rise out of him. And Autumn engaged planning her wedding and the days are drawing closer but once her eyes land on Chains is it cold feet she’s getting or are her eyes finally wide open to the man she is about to marry. Will these two be able to fight off this attraction that they both feel so strongly about or when the two worlds collide she will marry the man she is intended for. So grab your copy of this book to add to your series. Enjoy the ride.

China Wilder Hits Another Home Run In Her Night Rebels MC Series!
I really LOVED Chains and Autumn's story...more than most which is saying something as I am a HUGE FAN! This is a book I will read and reread time and again! My only wish is that this couple gets their own Novella to close up some parts of book that were left open due to the pending release date. Nothing was left open that took away from the story in ANY way, but when you fall in love with a couple the way I did with Chains & Autumn I found myself wanting to know EVERYTHING about them and the supporting characters whose storyline was now a part of theirs. If this review seems confusing you will have to read the book and see how AMAZING it is then you will understand what I'm saying. lol
Let me reiterate that I will be rereading this book MANY TIMES even without the novella as it ROCKED! As a fan of this couple it just be nice to see where MS. Wilder went with some of the other things. This is the only reason why I am giving it a 4 star over a 5.

I loved this book but hey, this is a Chiah Wilder's MC book so of course it's good but this is great. I think Ms. Wilder went about this one just a little bit different. Not in a bad way but a good way. You'll have to decide if you like the difference or not.
Easy to read without all those pesky misspelled words or anything other to distract you. I had just gotten it last night and thought I could see what it was about then go to bed. My husband came to me an hour and a half later wanting to know if I was ever going to bed and finally put it down to get some sleep... didn't want to though.
Great character development and in this one you really got to know them. Have a feeling that a few things in this book will show up in a later book.
I received this book as an ARC which in no way influenced my review. I have read all the books in Ms Wilder's MC series.
I highly recommend this book and adults only please.

Autumn is a veterinarian and runs a clinic with a couple of other doctors. She is engaged to Bret but as the day gets closer, she and Bret start having issues. Chains belongs to a motorcycle club and has been married and divorced. Chains caught his wife in bed with his best friend and has sworn off citizens since then. When Chains dog Thor gets sick, he rushes him to the vet, where he meets Autumn. Autumn feels a strange connection to Chains but she doesn’t act on it. Autumn later finds out that Chains is Bret’s brother but they do not get along. Bret breaks up with Autumn and Chains is there to help her through it. The closer they get, the harder for her Chains falls.
Great story with bikers, brothers, action, and sex. I loved this book but I think it’s my favorite from Ms. Wilder. Autumn does do the push/pull thing with Chains. Which is totally nerve racking but I would still read this story again.

Another great installment in the Night Rebels MC as always. Chains & Autumn have great chemistry, and the slow burn between the two hypes up the inevitable romance. What I love about this book is the heroine is a smart, sassy thirty-something woman with a career who stumbles upon her forever. Chains & Autumn are graceful in their love, and have a mutual respect for the other. What I didn’t like about this installment is I felt like I was left hanging … Wilder is great at giving you a romance AND suspense, but in this case, the suspense left me with more questions, almost as though there should be a second book to tie up the loose ends and give me the rest of the details. That being said, I was not disappointed with the overall relationship build and character development. Chains is an easy read and a great continuation within the Night Rebels MC.

What a page turner! I can always count on Chiah delivering a book that will have me sucked in and flipping the pages one after the other. I always am eager to see how the story will play out and this one definitely stayed true to that.
Chains and Autumn have off the charts chemistry but there are things keeping them from following through on that chemistry. Chains has been burned by his "citzen" ex-wife and refuses to ever mess with one again. Then you have Autumn, she turns out to be engaged and boy is that interesting.
This story will definitely keep you engrossed and eager for more. You will be sucked into their story and left shocked with how it all plays out. Just when you think things couldn't get more complicated they do, more than once. Definitely another must read by Chiah Wilder!

My favorite Night Rebels so far.
This story had it all. Suspense, angst, romance, and steamy hot sexy time. Wow the steam!!!!
Miss Wilder has a habit of writing stories that suck me in at the beginning and hold me captive until the very last page. This story was no exception. Chains is all kinds of sexy alphamale. Autumn was likeable right from the start. Now Chains brother is another story. He never deserved Autumn and I only wish she would have kicked him where it counts. While this book had all the angst of an MC book the romance story of this book was magical. Chains is a white knight and I only wish he would ride in and save me. Another book very well done!!

Gah, I freaking love the plot concept in CHAINS- being SUPER attracted to your fiance's brother is kind of putting a bit of a wrench in the wedding plans....
If you like MC reads that get down and dirty with alpha men, danger, supportive leading ladies, angst, drama, CHEMISTRY- you totally should read CHAINS. I really enjoyed reading this. Autumn and Chains have such a rare connection and it was awesome to read about because it is so freaking hard to find!
QUICK NOTE- there is NO cheating!
All in all, I totally recommend you checking this out, it is fairly fast pace and brings you a long for the ride- 4.5 outta 5 from me!

Pretty good but ....
SPOILER ALERT. The last few pages have a huge inconsistency. The female lead, Autumn, owns her own vet practice. Through the entire book she refuses to take a loan against the business when pressured by a fiance who eventually ditches her before she ends up with Chains. Then in the last few pages, a loan shark shows up saying the ex fiance's name is on the deed. Instead of explaining this falsehood as a lie perpetuated by the ex she remarks that she needs to file a quitclaim to remove his name. This is absurd. She would never have put his name on the deed. Did anyone read this through for inconsistencies? How could the author, whose books I really like, have made such a rooky mistake! The style is inconsistent with her previous books.

I had not yet read any of this series before this book. Needless to say, I have now purchased all of them and started working my way through them. This story centers around Chains (obviously) and Autumn. Autumn is a veterinarian who engaged and basically ignoring red flags from her fiancé, pretending everything will be fine. Chains ends up using her clinic services for his dog. Then they find out she is engaged to his brother. The brother situation is a mess, but not for the reasons you would think. There is also a little mystery thrown in at the end. I really enjoyed this story—as I said, it caused me to start the series at the beginning.

Chains is part of an MC he was married but came home to find his wife with his club brother. The only thing he cares about besides his brothers is his dog, Thor. However, when Thor eats some berries that making him very ill he takes him to a new vet who saves his dog and who he is also very attracted too.
He can't stop thinking about the new vet and in return, he keeps thinking about her only to both of their surprise they find out that the Vets fiance is also Chain's brother. Chains and his family aren't close so he surprises when Bret calls him and asks him to the unthinkable.
This book was so good and although its book eight in the series I didn't feel lost at all.

Awesome! I've volunteered to review these book for United Indie Book Blog. I love to reading Chiah Wilder stories. This is the 8th book in the Night Rebels series. This this Chains and Autumn's story. Chains is a bad boy biker, who meets and falls for his dog's vet. Autumn has her own veterinarian clinic. It turns out that Autumn is going to married to Chains' brother. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. Chains and Autumn are perfection together. The chemistry between Chains and Autumn was off the charts! I can't wait to read more from this author. Keep up the awesome work!

From the very first page, I was pulled into Autumn and Chain’s story. Chains had been hurt in the past now he just enjoys all the club women and stays away from “citizens” because there is usually to much drama. Chains meets Autumn when he brings his dog to her vet clinic. From their first meeting Autumn and Chains have a connection and sparks but she is not available. Chains tries to stay away but the pull toward each other is too much. When Autumn finds herself faced with danger Chains is who she calls. I totally recommend all the books in the Night Rebels and cannot wait for the next book.
