As always an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series
Once again and as always. Entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and a fun and entertaining storyline. Allie is a witch who lives in a small supernatural town in the Northwest. She was working a minimum wage job trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. Then she stumbled across the murder and help the enforcers figure out who is responsible. Then people started coming to her if you have her help find out who is responsible for other crimes and murders. Now she is a private investigator on her own. People come to her to find things to help figure out who stole something and even who helped kill someone. Follow along once again as one of her town neighbors is murdered and she is smack dab in the middle once again. Always an entertaining story always a fun mixture of characters and always Worth reading. She also has a bit quirky grandmother who is always up to no good and out to find the latest gossip. Check it out
A character named Bellatrix turned into Beatrix 9 times during the book. Four times in the one page and thank the God’s this was near the end of the book as otherwise I don’t believe I would have finished it.
I do enjoy this Writers books in general as I love paranormal cozy’s but after so many problems with Silver’s books in particular and feeling like these reviews do nothing or else the Writer simply cares more about a pay check than an actual following.
I mean please get a proofreader, a Beta Tester or an ARC team to catch these little grammatical errors for you if you’re not going to read through the book yourself before sending it to print.
But do something or all your reviews will end up being about your mistakes and not how good or bad the storyline was.
Any Potion in a Storm is Book 4 in the Pacific North Witch Series . I love the main character , Ali, she has really turned into a great private investigator. In this story, an Elf hires Ali to find out who is trying to kill him. He has a feeling he will be killed. The Enforcers don't take him very seriously until he turns up dead.
Ali is on the case looking for the murder with more cooperation from the Enforcers than usual. I definitely did not guess this one. The story is well written and this series has become a favorite!!!
Our girl is making her own way, becoming the go-to PI witch for solving crimes. Will she still go for the Career she was wanting, before she inavertently started doing the PI investagations? She makes good money and usually firures it out before the Enforcers do. So when a Elf hired her to investagate she was all in, ready and willing to go forward and give the family clousure. Unexpexted twist and turns, she starts unraveling clues, leading to a very twisted motives and unexpected relelations.
Ali has been haired by an elf. Someone has been following him and he knows they mean to do him harm. An elf can sense other paranormal feelings, and he can feel their anger and he senses they mean to kill him. Ali finds out the next morning that the elf was found dead. Now she is on the hunt for his murderer.
Unlike her "perfect" younger sister, Ali has to look a little deeper to find her career niche. But her resourcefulness, creativity and untraditional thinking work perfectly.
Ali is such a fun and likeable character. I do which Silver would consistently use speaking English for dialogue and not proper English that sounds like a book report and is hard to read. She's a dependable author that I know that I'll be entertained.
A really nice elf is murdered. Now this twisted cast of suspects is investigated but the murders continue.... Could this be the end for Ali, will Willow have to carry on her legacy? Will Bonnie be OK?
This was a gripping and easy to read book as the first 3. This is a great series. It has strong characters, whom you'll love and a story line that just flows. Great Reading Everyone!!!!
I really liked this story. It was filled with murder and mystery, witches and warlocks, magic and potions, werewolves and vampires, elves and familiars. Enjoy!!
