Welp, I've come to the end of my binge read of the Arcav Alien Invasion series, and yet I still want more. Considering I'm 8 books in, that's a feat Ms. Hart, so well done.

I think I'm really enjoying the fact that while there's a familiarity to these stories, each heroine has their own struggles and I've liked each and every one of them (about the only I didn't enjoy as much was due to the hero, that's earlier in the series).

Vazta is sweet and patient, even if he's a little stalkery. Peyton is still struggling with post-trauma issues and she's fighting to get back to Earth, so she's not having this mate business with Vazta but I never blamed her for her feelings, and I knew it was a matter of time before she'd fall for Vazta.

The battle scenes are a weakness, but the romance is what brings me to the yard, every time and I was satisfied when I turned off my kindle, so job well done. I can't wait for the next entry in this series.

The best thing about this one was Peyton getting better, finding her strength to get past what happened to her and embrace life again. In the course of that she did find love with Vazta, who was very patient with her and knew he needed to win her over. By the time the book ended you were so happy for them and could see that they were going to have a happy life.

Revenge is easy to plan but sometimes we find in the end it doesn't matter in the greater scheme of life. Great ending to this part of the series. 4.5 stars

I like Peyton, I don't like how vazta keeps pushing her. She's been through a lot of trauma and he keeps pursuing her. I don't like how Peyton way to quickly starts to accept his advances and even feels guilty for being scared of him, after everything that happened to her. The entire romance ist not very believable to me, it feels rushed and serious topics like SA should be treated with more carefulness.

I need an Arcav in my life. A large devoted, protector that loves his mate with his entire heart...I’m ready for a blood test today! Sign me up!

This book was moving and it does have triggers for some people. Peyton has been hurt. Taken from Earth, sold to a sadistic bastard, and held captive. She doesn’t trust anyone anymore, which is a problem because Vatza can tell shes his mate.

Vatza’s patience as he slowly works his way into Peyton’s heart. Peyton was skittish and filled with a need for revenge, she doesn’t want to let Vatza in but he is a means to an end...or at least that is how the start.

This is a slow burn, super hot alpha alien that will do anything to win his mates heart. Give her time, be patient and help her on her quest for revenge. This book was a wonderful addition to the Arcav saga and I just can’t wait to see what happens next!

If you are looking for an original alpha alien story this is your series! This can be read as a standalone but you won’t get the full impact of the storyline. I definitely recommend and will keep reading!!!

Tough but wounded FMC seeking revenge + protective MMC in (careful) pursuit + fated mates? This type of story was made for me, so I’m kind of sad that I can’t rate it higher! I enjoyed this while reading, but for some reason it’s just not one of my favorites in the series. I think I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I would have liked.

Another great one!

I really enjoyed reading this one almost if not as much as the previous one which was my favorite. I loved Vasta, he was so sweet. I liked the battle scenes a lot too. My only question is - are we going to get Bree's book? Surely we will, right? If we don't I will be so mad. I wish she had at least mentioned something about it. I mean, how can you take one of the main female characters and hand her over to a dragon and not tell us what happens? Anyway, I really liked this series with the last two being the best in my opinion.

After reading Hope Hart’s Thesian series, I had to go back and read where it all started with the Arcavs. The Arcavs are an alien race, who have incredibly long lifespans, with a single Achilles’ heel: they go crazy if their meat dies or leaves them. The King’s brother, Korva’s, mate died. As a result, he went batshit crazy with the whole “if I can’t have my mate, then neither can you,” so he poisoned his planet, to where the females only birthed baby boys. In conjunction, he also released DNA into the humans of Earth to where some human females are compatible as Arcavian mates. He found humor in forcing his kind to breed with an inferior species. (Interesting concept, we have no choice but to go with it.) So the Arcav king invaded Earth, took away their weapons, and forced its women to submit a blood test. With no other choice, Earth is forced to cooperate.

Written in 1st person (my favorite) present tense, The Arcav Guard’s Female is book 6 in this series and follows the alien Queen’s Arcav Guard Vazta and his human mate Peyton. We met both parties in a previous book, and I knew then that this book would just be more of the same. Peyton fighting the mating tooth and nail.

It’s difficult for me to to review this book because I’m getting bored with the same story over and over again. While each book has different characters with different outlooks, each outcome is exactly the same. Boy meets girl, one or both have deep seeded issues that prevent them from accepting the mating (in this case Peyton), one saves the other from danger, both boy and girl get matching wrist tattoos that mark them as mates, boy and girl finally accept their feelings for each other and live happily ever after. That’s the bases for each and every book. And I don’t see it changing anytime soon. Unfortunately, I’m too invested to stop reading now. Lol

I’m still waiting for the dragon mating book.

Will say this book contains many triggers, some physical and some mental so read at your own risk.

Peyton is trying to find her way back to her old confident self after she was captured and abused. All she can think about is getting revenge on the tormentor that took her confidence away. Bringing about his downfall and getting back to earth is all she wants to do, not become a mate to Vazta.

Her trust in men is gone and the last thing she wants to do is be forced to take a mate despite how handsome he is.

Vazta knows that wooing Peyton would require him to have the patience of a saint. Still he knows she’s the one for him and is willing to do whatever it takes for her to trust him.

To say that Peyton makes Vazta work for it would be an understatement. Totally got why she was stuck in her pain but I felt it was dragged out a bit too much. Once they got past that her inner strength came to the forefront and she started redeeming herself to me.

Vazta what can I say he’s just a big kid wrapped in a man’s body, that’s not to say he won’t rip your head off if you look at his lady he’s just really a softie under that gruff exterior.

This is a bit of a slow burn as Vazta works through Peyton’s skittishness. It’s almost to the half point before these two do finally spend time together. During that time you do see growth in Peyton, which is good. You also get to catch up with some of the characters from the previous books and of course the guy banter always makes me snicker.

Peyton and Vazta working as a united front can really kick some bad guy butt. All in all it was a pretty engaging read.

This book has the feel of an end to this portion of the stories in this universe that Hope Hart has created. I stumbled upon the “Warriors of Agron” series first, so I already know what happened to the 9 women that the Arcav are currently looking for. It’s a GREAT series and I highly recommend it.

As for Vazta and Peyton’s story . . . It’s such a wonderful love story. We actually met them in the last book, with Peyton consumed by a desire for vengeance. It’s eating away at her soul. Vazta just wants to make her pain go away and wrap her in his love. He’s such a sweet Arcav. In most of the books, in this series, there’s humor as well as drama. Not in this one. I didn’t find any places where I LOL’d, a smile here and there maybe, but nothing more. Plenty of times that I could just feel the emotional turmoil of Peyton. I could also feel Vazta’s pain at trying to break through to his mate and his anguish that she not only doesn’t want him, she doesn’t want to stay on Planet.

The author did a great job balancing Peyton’s conflicting emotions as she grows closer, very slowly, to Vazta. Don’t get me wrong, what she endured did make her a sympathetic character, but just about the time I would get irritated with her wallowing in her misery, she herself would break through with another realization and move one more baby step past her demons. I admit, it did make it so very satisfying when she finally surrendered completely to her mate and Vazta’s joy only added to my sense oc contentment in reading their story.

I know there are more stories to come in this universe . . . There are already 2 on the schedule for the “Warriors of Agron” series. While I can’t wait for those, I also can’t wait for Bree’s story with her DRAGON KING!!

I don't think I'd be so merciful! Just sayin'

Peyton was abducted with a large group of human women from earth and she and four others were auctioned to Udan, a sadistic alien who runs a gladiator ring on a planet he runs. The women are "prizes" for the gladiators who win in the games. Peyton, showing some backbone, becomes of interest to Udan and she's nearly raped by the alien before the women are rescued by the Arcavians.
Vazta is certain at first meeting that Peyton is his mate, but she's so traumatized by her abduction and subsequent experiences that she's only terrified whenever he's near. Wherever ANY large male is near for that matter. He's determined to make Peyton happy even if that means helping her take revenge on the alien who hurt her and her friends.
This seems to be the last in this series even though there are other couples we could read about. Other stories to tell. This was well worth the read and the characters were well developed and I was surprised in a couple of places, which is always a good thing! I'm continuing my read though of Hope's Warriors of Agron series. I would be through it but I have to do it between requested reviews, plus I get distracted easily. #AdultADD

The heroine wants to kill Urad. He kidnapped her and the other humans and tortured them. He was planning to rape her but she was rescued in the nick of time by the Arcav.

So she trains with a blaster and is allowed to go attacked Urad's prison planet with a bunch of Arcav. Of course, Urad captures her again. But even though he has her prisoner for days, he doesn't rape her. He beats her up and sticks her in a cage. So she was very lucky.

Hero rescues her. Then after all that, they decide not to kill Urad and just send him to prison. I couldn't believe it. Urad killed and tortured so many people and the hero and heroine let him live, saying he'll suffer more in prison.

Or you know, he'll escape and come after the heroine but I guess they didn't think that would happen. They should have killed him.

They also rescue Jessica's alien gladiator lover, the father of her to be born baby. So they get a happy ever after even though Urad was the evil guy who gave her to the gladiator. But we barely have any scenes with them.

Peyton was a woman whose sole aim was revenge!
by sewsummore

Despite having been rescued by the Arcav warriors and given everything they need to recover from their ordeal, Peyton and the other women still need to overcome the pain of the past. Peyton burns for revenge on Udan and is determined to return to her life on Earth. She is however the fated mate of Vazta, one of the Arcav King's guard. It was a situation that had to be handled diplomatically. and in the end she was to remain for the next six months and spend time with her fated mate once a week during that period. Then if she still refuses their mating she can return to Earth. At first she was angry but over time she grew to care for him and their future looked brighter until she once again falls into Udan's hands. This book kept me reading until the end, Peyton was a woman whose sole aim was revenge. it was not until this need was put in perspective could she finally accept the love of her mate.

Peyton was taken captive from Earth and sold to a horrible abusive alien. Although now free, she finds it impossible to trust anyone. Vatza already knows that she is his mate. With patience and understanding, Vatza begins to heal her as she experiences his gentle, loving side. He agrees to help her seek her revenge and that gives them a goal to work toward together as she gains confidence.

Slowly, Peyton learns that not all men are cruel and that Vatza would never harm her. In fact, he would do anything she needed to make her secure and happy, no matter how long it takes. For patience alone, these aliens are amazing, especially since their Queens have not always been kind to them. Will Peyton get the revenge she feels she needs in return for what they put her through? Will she realize that Vatza has only her interests at heart and will always be gentle with her? This was a terrific part of the Arcav series, so don’t miss this one!

Peyton’s revenge...

This story’s timeline overlaps several of the others, so there were a few times when I found myself pausing with an “ah, we’re now lined up with X story” moment.

Peyton, and three of her human friends were rescued some time ago... and Peyton’s fear of all things alien, combined with her desire to return to Earth led to an immediate rejection of Vazta... he on the other hand realized that what your heart wants, is worth getting to know, and appreciate it every way, and dealt with that rejection in a charming and captivating manner.

This is a delightful, done in one quick read that fits nicely into the series.

Absolutely loved this book!

I’ve been waiting patiently for Vazta and Peyton’s book! It did not disappoint! This book rocked! Once again Hope did an amazing job with the two characters. I wish the maid with the knife would have been given a new home but alas that wasn’t in the cards. I’m glad Peyton woke up though and that she had to go back into the fire to realize what true loss really meant. This book rocked on so many different levels. My boy Vaz really had the patience of a saint lol. It’s tough when your mate has been touched by trauma and pain. Goes to show you that like in real life these hardships can be overcome with lots of love, patience and understanding. Truly loved this book so very much, read this series! You won’t regret it.

The Arcav Guard’s Female

Enjoyed the story. I’ve been noticing that there are more and more errors in my ebooks as I read this series. That’s aggravating. This story is about Peyton and Vazta. He is one of the Queen’s guards she is a human stolen from earth to be sold to the slave trade. She’s a surgeon on earth. When he meets her after they are rescued he knows immediately she is his fated mate. The plot unfolds with us learning that the four women who are rescued, Peyton being one of them, are incredibly frightened by the Arcav after having been treated abominably by their captors. I recommend this book if you are following the series. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.

Peyton is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and is kidnapped from Earth and is bought by a slaver. Her and the other women are rescued by the Arcav and taken to Arcavia. Peyton meets Vazta and he realizes that she is his mate and goes about courting her. The only thing on Peytons mind is revenge and getting back to Earth. Vazta agree to help her get her revenge. What happens now? Does Peyton get her revenge? Will Vazta win her love? Must read to find out. I love this series. Keeps you interested all the way through.

It was okay

I don't get it though Peyton was kind of irritating at first kept talking about how she has no choice no say in anything but the Arcav have given her all her options and she makes the choices she wants and she still gripes and moans the whole time. I mean she's on a freaking different planet that is technologically superior to earth and they even offer to teach her their ways with medicine and she chooses Earth??? You have a man that wants nothing more then to love and worship you and make sure you have endless "O" gasms and she still wants Earth made me wanna smack that heffer LoL but she eventually wised up and chose to stay so it was an okay read

Peyton is given every opportunity to learn new skills and she focuses only on revenge. Vazta tells her she is his mate but she dismisses that because it could interfere with her revenge. That she does this makes him mad..
She was a surgeon on 🌍 and it is only when she has to help an injured soldier that she begins to realise that revenge takes many forms.
She gets her mating bands then she is captured by the enemy.
She is strangely calm while captured... knowing that Vazta will come for her and when her enemy is taken away to rot in jail, she walks away with her mate ..very satisfying,
I liked this world that Hope created ... but it seems that not everything will be resolved

This story is about Peyton and Vazta. Peyton has nothing but revenge on her mind and going back to Earth. She has been tested and finds that Vazta is her mate. She does everything she can to stop from wanting Vazta. They are a great couple. He helps her with her quest to destroy Udan and his slavery system. There is adventure, action, pain, terror, fighting, revenge and the love she finally finds is more important and killing Udan. I love this series. I'd love to see it go on and on.. The story happened at the same time as that of Eve, Megan and the Lahmu Queen. But this time it’s from the point of view of the woman, Peyton, who was one of the women who were sold into slavery and was saved by the Arcav.

Peyton was one strong woman, though blinded by her need for revenge, she was able to form a bond with Vazta. I looked up to Vazta, he was a smart one and patient, too. I admire his tenacity in pursuing his mate and his works were rewarded when Peyton chose to stay with him.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Once I started I could not get enough from start to finish. This book has a lot of twist and turns Peyton was abducted by Aliens only to between rescued by the Arcav little did she know she is his mate Vazta, soon becomes hot and steamy with the emotions that run wild.

The Arcav Saga

I just finished reading book 8. Binge reading comes in handy during a quarantine. I loved all the books. 7 foot golden skinned aliens that are no longer to begat females. They invaded Earth and have a lottery for blood tested compatible females. A cop gets chosen to be mated to the King and she goes on the run. The first 2 books are about them. Books 3 - 8 feature a different woman and her mate.

It is best to read them in order as the secondary theme runs through them. I am not going to do any spoilers so grab book 1 and enjoy.

Peyton's journey from abused victim back to a strong capable woman, all while her mate is trying to help her and give her the space she needs without losing her .is touching. Add to that, a good old space battle and chase, to keep you from being able to put it down. Not to mention some steamy moments with her mate and a happily ever after. Loved it.

Although this can be read as a standalone book, I personally would like to encourage everyone to read this series in order, each book is brilliant and not to be missed. This is a fairly short book only taking me a couple of hours to read. Every second reading this book is enjoyable, the world that the author has built is wonderful and the characters are fantastic.

I have read every book in this series and enjoyed them, they can be read separate because each couple has its own book, but the overall plot connects the books, so it best read in order.

I like this couple and glad Peyton and Vazta are getting a happy story. I took off a star for a couple errors and 2 times there wasn’t a scene but a telling of a scene. With several “and then this happened”

Peyton has been tested and is Vazta’s mate. However all she wants is revenge on the man that bought her and tortured her then go straight back to earth. So all her focus is on training so she can get her revenge

Frustration at his mate not wanting anything to do with him he and Peyton agree to the kings suggestion that they date. For two months. Then The king will allow Peyton to go with the force to capture the man who bought her. This force will be headed by Vazta.

I loved Vazta. He tried to be so patient, supportive, and understanding.

Hearing Amanda and Peyton relive their kidnapping and abuse made me hate Jaret all over again. He was so cold and uncaring- actually cruel to the women when they were rescued. When he left his traumatized mate chained in a cage with her dead-would be rapist, it was unforgivable. Not to mention he cheated on her several time.... grrrrr.
