Cats! Domasticated in Egypt or Nubia probably and worshiped as god's. Reason? Eating the mouse's that were eating the grain in storages. An orthodox introduce them to Arabs and Prophet Mohammed (peace upon him) loved them so much that Koran includes multiple verses and stories about them. Bedouin didn't like them much but the whole region of Med and the Muslim world still hold cats as something very special.
