Christina Butrum truly does sweet, clean romance as good as anyone. I love this series and One Plus Two is a great addition to it. Hannah and Carter are characters that anyone would like to meet in real life. You can't help but pull for them as they work their way toward love. Hannah has issues in her life right now, but is spunky when dealing with Carter when he says the wrong thing. Carter is set on not falling in love, but Hannah and baby Grace might have him rethinking that.
The secondary characters are an integral part of the story and most are from previous books. They are memorable enough that even I could remember their back stories! One Plus Two could certainly be read as a standalone, but I really recommend that you start from the beginning of the series and read them through so that you have the stories of all the characters. You won't be sorry that you did! By the way, I think Aunt Fran is going to get her own story and the matchmaking will be turned on her now. I can't wait!
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

It was so nice to be taken back to the romantic whimsical town of Maple Glen with “One Plus Two”.

Christina Butrum has a way of drawing you in with a touching, heartfelt story that keeps you reading until you see how it ends.

The characters in this book do not disappoint and you will especially fall in love with Hannah and Grace right from the beginning. Oh yes! You cannot forget about Carter! He was one of my favorites. And who doesn’t love Fran, the town matchmaker?!

This can be read as stand alone, however the characters from the previous books are definitely part of the backstory.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for fair and honest review.

Book six and I am still enjoying every story Christina Butrum is giving us about the Mitchell family. In this book, we get to see more of Carter Mitchell who is the brother too Clayton "It Takes Two", Cara "Coffee for Two", Charlie "RSVP for Two", Catie "Room for Two", Cassie "Lesson for Two".

And we can not forget there matchmaking Aunt Fran from the coffee shop who gives her little piece of love to them all as they find there one true love. One plus Two will truely give you them oh so sweet feeling when Hannah Michaelson finds herself with car troubles on the side of the country road outside Maple Glen in a snowstorm.

Hannah is not alone she has a six-month-old little girl named Grace with her. Why has she left Chicago in a snowstorm with a baby on board?

Help is on its way when Hannah is found by Cassie, Grant and Alex. Cassie has her brother Carter the local mechanic to come and have a look at Hannah's car.

Hannah is in search of a new start and a place for her a Grace her sister's daughter but she prepared to be stuck in this small town for over a week while her car gets fixed. She only stayed to get her car fixed but she may just get more than she ever dreamed possible when the mechanic asked her out for coffee.

Carter is a man that was not looking for love or even believed in love again after having his heart broken but when a mother and baby turn up on the side of the road, this may all change. But is she keeping secrets and why is she in a rush to leave?

Hannah has secrets she is keeping seeking hope and a new home but finds herself penniless in a strange town around strangers that only wish to help her and Grace the daughter they believe she has.

I love a man that loves babies and the connection between Carter and Grace will melt your heart. I read this book in one sitting and still wanted more at the end. This is a sweet read that will also reconnect you with some of the characters of the past books we have come to love. I received an ARC copy this book to which I have given my honest and voluntary review.

Christina Butrum is a master at writing sweet, clean small town romances. Reading a Christina Butrum book is like reading a Hallmark movie. Her characters and situations are believable.

One Plus Two is Book 6 in the Maple Glen Series. I have enjoyed reading every one of the Maple Glen books. Each book tells the story of one of the Mitchell clan. One Plus Two is the story of Carter Mitchell, a hard-working auto mechanic. He is content to work hard on building his car repair business. He doesn’t have time for romance...until he comes to the rescue of Hannah Michaelson who is stranded by the roadside in the middle of a snowstorm. Carter’s protective instinct kicks in and his heart starts to melt when he sees Hannah stranded with a 6-month-old baby in the back seat of her broken down car.

I recommend One Plus Two and the entire Maple Glen Series. I recommend reading the series in order so that you understand the characters and their relationships. Maple Glen is a delightful little town inhabited by friendly, caring people. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

A very unreliable car breaking down in the middle of nowhere with a baby on board! What made Hannah leave Chicago for her friend’s house hours away under these circumstances? She is found by Cassie, Grant and Alex who call Carter, the town mechanic, to tow her car in. They also set them up in a bed and breakfast owned by a sister. Carter is intrigued by Hannah and takes her to the coffee shop in Maple Glen. Well, Aunt Fran owns the coffee shop and she is also the town matchmaker! What are Carter and Hannah in for with them being in Aunt Fran’s matchmaking sights? Another wonderful Maple Glen story!

She's running, scared, with a baby and no money. Everything has turned to mud and she's just doing what she can to protect and provide. It's what she always does. Now she's paying for trusting the one person she thought she could. He was just supposed to repair her car but he is drawn to this stranger. Maple Glen is back on the map and so is the Match Maker Extraordinaire. So many secrets so much unknown but love doesn't care. Yes it's an insta-love type of thang but it's clean and it's sweet and it's all you need on a cold winter night. I love the characters and the town. It's small town in action with all the friends and love and support that make home town reads awesome.

Hannah is stranded on the side of the road when her car breaks down, with her baby niece in the backseat. After getting her car towed by Carter, the mechanic, she stays in the local B&B until it is done. Certain she wants to leave as soon as her car is ready, Hannah is surprised by how much she ends up liking the town and its occupants. She has a lot on her mind, and is more than a little stressed, and Carter has his own problems, but as they spend more and more time together they realise there may be something more between them.

I hadn't read the previous books in this series, but didn't feel lost at all. This was a sweet romance, and an enjoyable read that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy.

I have loved this series from the beginning book. I was hooked and I knew that every matchmaking Fran did, was gonna melt my heart. This book melted my heart from the moment Hanna and Carter met when her car broke down. It's sweet, loving, and a match made in heaven. Love comes when they least expect it and the troubles they endure always work out in the end. One series you will keep turning those pages and your emotions will come out as you read. I highly recommend Christina's books to all. She is an exceptional writer who keeps you wanting more.

Another fantastic read

I have read every book from this author and I’m never disappointed. Something about this small town of maple glen keeps me coming back. It’s such a magical place and full of love and I want to live there. Reading about them is just as magical. This book was Carters story. Might even be my favorite because he is the most romantic and lovable and he doesn’t show that side of himself till Hannah arrives. They are both kind of broken but find the pieces of their soul within each other and I just love it!!!

4.5 Sweet Stars!

I love this series ❤ I don't know how Christina does it, creating a family of characters that are so different, yet so loving and loyal....then brings in the perfectly matched outsider that fits right in the fold.

I loved how Carter was immediately taken to Grace, seeing a man interact with a baby always gets my heart! I hated that Hannah felt she had to keep secrets, you could see it was eating away at her and she needed to get it out. I love that the Mitchell family just embraced Hannah and Grace and immediately came to the rescue in more that one instance for these little ladies!

I enjoy the fact that I know I get to see Aunt Fran in action in each of these books, she makes my heart happy knowing she has her matchmaking eyes on her family and she doesn't miss a thing that happens in Maple Glen.

This cover was absolutely perfect for this story!!!

Hannah and Carter.......swoon. In previous books in this series Carter has always come off as a jerk to me. In the beginning of this one, was the same way, but it didn't take long to find out that Carter has a very sweet and caring side to him......one that Hannah and Grace bring out in him. These two are able to let walls down with one another and really connect. Such a sweet read......can't wait for the next book in this series!

Another heartwarming story by this wonderful Author. Hannah is going to stay with a friend when she gets stranded on the side of the road in a bad snow storm with Grace, who is her sister's daughter in the back seat of her car. Her sister has disappeared and she can't find her.

A nice couple stop to see if she needs help, and they call her brother who is a mechanic and he comes out with his tow truck to see if he can get the car going. No such luck, so he tows it in and promises to get it fixed, all the while wondering what it is about her that draws him to her, stuck out here with a baby no less. His sister and her husband own a B&B and offer for her and Grace to stay there while he fixes her car.

Hannah & Carter are falling in love without too much help from their sweet Aunt, who just so happens to be know as the town's matchmaker, dear Aunt Fran.

The heartache Hannah has been through with her sister, ashamed and embarrassed, but Carter knew there was something about this Plus Two (Hannah and Grace) that tugged at his heart from the moment he met them. You'll love this story and won't want to put it down.

Hannah was on her way to her friends place with her sister’s daughter Grace. Her car broke down and with very little money she was stuck. Until a Ethan and Catie pulled up and called her a tow truck. Which was Carter, Catie’s brother. He had a long day but went out to help Hannah. They thing was there was something about Hannah that made him stop and look. Hannah is hiding a few secrets and is on her way to her friend’s Tara house to have a place to stay for a bit. She is worried that her soon to be friends will turn their backs on her once they find out the truth and she will be on her own. The thing is that Hannah and Carter have feelings for each other and not sure what to do. Will everyone turn their backs on her or will they hug her and help her to stay.

I just love when best laid plans get thrown off course. That's what happens with Hannah. She is running and ends up in Maple Glen and it's exactly what she needed. She ends up finding Carter and even though they are attracted to each other, they resist. But the pull is too much and she needs help. There's some mystery here with what Hannah is hiding and her fear that her new friends will leave her behind. But I love seeing the support and community of a small town and how they help anyone in need.

Another great HEA by Christina Burtrum! I really want to go back and read the other stories in this series and hear their HEAs. This story wasn’t drawn out, just short and sweet. The narrator was fantastic, enjoyable to listen to and, did well with the various voices. I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

One Plus Two is a sweet romance story that tells how Carter and Hannah came to know each other, as well as develop a relationship with each other. I liked the blurb and beginning of the story and was excited to see how it'd all play out, but sadly, I think it left me wanting more (though what, exactly, I'm still trying to sort out. Character development, maybe? Or better marking of the passing of time? I honestly thought this was all going to play out in a week or two, so it was a bit of a surprise to find out she stays there for a month(? ).

As for the narrator, I believe she did a great job with the different voices of each character. The only things that bothered me were that a) Catie's voice just seemed too "slow" in my opinion (I don't know how to describe it better), and b) I think certain nuances/ emotions could have been portrayed better (when a character's "choked" with emotion, they just sound neutral or sad at best).

As for content, I guess I should have paid better attention when the narrator described this book as "Clean but not Christian" since it a) mentions drinking, and b)

All in all, a sweet read that will satisfy fans of this author and readers of this series since it ties it up nicely. As for me, I'll just let some time pass before reading any other books from this series/author.
