Loved this story between Callisto and Makenna. Was an awesome start to this series. It's intriguing, gritty and while this is something I don't normally read, I couldn't put this book down!! Wonderful story!

Absolution = formal release from guilt, obligation, or punishment.

My man Callisto is back at it.

Absolution had me from page one. It is a quick read that left me breathless at times. I mean how can it not with Callisto in the mix. The book is intriguing, intense at times, full of love, devotion and then some. I couldn’t put the book down and devoured it in hours.

Cal and Makenna are everything and then some. I love Cal’s protectiveness and that he is finally realizing how strong of a woman Makenna is. The guilt he holds still weighs heavily on him but will he finally be to find Absolution. When Jaxon needed help trying to find his sister who was kidnapped he stepped in and did what he does best - took control of the situation. With some ups and downs and intense moments the love and family is seen from every which end.

To say the intrigue hasn’t been put into play is an understatement. Absolution is just the beginning of a journey to get the bits and pieces and clues to solve the mystery. This is Book one in Season Two of The Collective and I can’t wait to start book two.

One of the great things about multi-author series like The Collective is that you get to read not only amazing books, but meet new authors. BR Bradley is a new author for me, but I can say I am hooked and will continue to read more. Absolution is a great start to the series. It introduces the setting very well but still leaves a lot of suspense for the next 7 books.
Even though we are thrown into the life of Makenna and Callisto at what seems to be a few years post their relationship, I was able to understand their relationship and not feel as if I needed to read a previous book in order to enjoy this book. There is something about Callisto that made me gravitate towards him as a character. He is dark yet Makenna is his light and he will do everything in his power to keep her as that. Many female characters that have been abused are scared and weak, but Makenna has made it a long way and continues to try to be strong. I really loved her.
**Definitely read the series in order it is the way to go**

Fantastic read/series. This book continues right where book 2 ended and boy did it pack a wallop. The author has given us a well written emotional book filled with love, suspense, danger and family.

As we now know Makenna and Callisto are now married. In absolution the author gives an up close and personal insight to this couple's lives. Their inner struggles, his to keep Makenna safe and away from his dark side, and McKenna’s to get him to trust her and open up and share everything - the good, the bad and the ugly. She knows Callisto is no saint but his inner struggles to separate his two lives are eating him up inside and she wants to help ease that pain. Will he let her in? Will she stand by him if he does? Can he keep her safe from this mafia lifestyle if he tells her? Are they destined to be the next Suppato Power Couple or does fate have other plans?

Simply put this is an outstanding series which just got even better. This reader can’t wait to see what’s in store next. Highly Recommend the Sin With Me Series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars

This author did a fabulous job of writing a story with characters belonging to another author and keeping the authenticity spot on. The dark edginess is there as is the heat and sparks between the two characters, my only downer was not getting a resolution to the actual plot. I don't know? maybe this gets picked up further into the collective season, but I don't see the characters mentioned anywhere. It is still gripping and easy to read and get lost in the pages however. It isn't an easy thing to do for any writer, borrowing one or two characters to compliment your own is one thing but to actually write as the original author is extremely hard, the pressure to keep the consistency and all the main aspects of the series and characters exactly as they should be. B.R.Bradley should be praised for doing such a great job with Delaney Fosters characters. Well worth reading if you have read the two previous books to the series.

Okay, so I've read all of the Sin With Me books and Absolution is a perfect addition to this series! It gives more insight into Makenna and Callisto's relationship after their HEA, which is something you don't see too often. They are happily married but still fighting those demons that have plagued them for so long. Their relationship is put to the test in this book and I loved seeing how they fought for each other. The same off the charts chemistry was there and the sex scenes were smoking hot!! Love, love, love these two! So, when Callisto is called to help his friend, Jaxson, find his missing sister, he can't turn him down. If you read the other books, then I know you remember that sexy bartender! For me, this was the perfect book to lead into what I hope to be Jaxson's book! There are some things that were left unresolved and I look forward to finding out what happens! Must read series!

The second season of The Collective starts off with a bang. Callisto was her rescuer, love of her life and maker of all things right in her life. She was the air he breathed the light that kept his darkness at bay. He rescued her once from a human traffic ring and now more women are missing. This second season is opening with a bang. . . literally. Tons of action and intrigue and a lesson on the mafia because of course it's a part of what he is.

Welcome o the world of the collective. Standalone novels that have weaved their characters and story lines together to give the reader an epic cross over series. From the start of things I would have to say they are living up to the hype. I can't wait to dive further in and see what else is in store.

Book 1, Absolution
B.R Bradley
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So this was the 1st story in the, The Collective Season 2, and I’m assuming holds a few cards setting the whole scene, and seeing I’ve already read book 7, I haven’t seen the connection, but on its own it is a good story I enjoyed reading.

Calllisto Suppato Married is soul mate a year ago, saving her was the ultimate. Makenna was stolen and deceived and it was Callisto who saved her and changed her life forever. Now he uses that anniversary for good, creating new memories , but in her heart she knows he holds many secrets, ones he won’t divulge. Callisto is a bad man in many eyes, he’s mafia, he murders, maims and sets things right…

Now they have a new issue to tackle, one that will change everything.

Absolution

I loved the way this story continued. And ended. I really enjoyed this couple. Makenna was such a strong woman who stood beside her husband and continued to build him up when he was feeling doubtful about himself. Callisto needed someone who he could depend on and not complain about everything he did, where he went, when he was coming home. And she was always there.
Granted it’s not the life everyone wishes to have but they made it work for them. I really enjoyed this series. It was a page turner and I didn’t want to put it down till I finished it. Loved it ❤️❤️

The start of this series, Absolution offers what its name implies, absolution for both Makenna and Callisto and a move forward. The book offers a fascinating insight into the mafia and interactions between its families, and, with the interactions with Nico particularly this is a great way to start the series, encounter some of the problems facing the city, and meet the characters on which the other books focus.

Wonderfully written story that brings the lead male's life full circle. It also brings Callisto and Makenna's relationship even closer. But there is still danger out there and now Jaxon's sister is missing and he's asked for Cal's help. The story line gives the readers excitement, intrigue and enough heat to warm you to your bones as well as a wonderful love story.

This is a wonderful read, a wonderful series and I highly recommend this book.

I loved this continuation of Callisto and Makenna's story. There were a few dark elements, but the love and chemistry is there between the characters, as strong and hot as ever. Each of them has saved each other in some form, and in this book, they finally break down any remaining barriers, so they can move forward.

It was a quick, short story, and I really enjoyed it, while also leaving me wanting for more.

Jaxon is mine...

This book is a perfect build from book 2 and prepares you to fine love and difference in the same moment.
Delaney claims her spot as a top notch author with this series.

Cal and Mak have just got married and life is going great. Jaxon thinks hes found his sister after all these years and he needs some help. As best friends should Cal is there for him. This journey is long, hard and perfect! Cant wait for book 4.

What a start to season two! Callisto is dark, he is a mob boss. Makenna is his light. Together, they are perfect. Callisto is willing to do anything to protect what is his, whether it's his wife, or his father, or anyone he loves. That is put to the test when Callisto, Makenna, and Jaxon travel to California.

Delaney Foster sure can bring the combustible chemistry to a great love story, put you right in the middle of terror, doubt, bad guys, taking over the business for his father and still show you how Cal LOVES his woman and what he will do to protect her...Looking forward to the next book in The Sin Series🔥💞🔥💞🔥💞

The tale of Callisto and Makenna start The Collection season two on a hot note. This story blends the best of a mafia romance with the quintessential good girl. Each page drips with intrigue and I enjoyed every second of it. Cannot wait to read more.

I enjoyed this book Callisto and Makenna have a very strong connection. He’s dark and she’s his light. This book has Mafia, dirty politicians and lots of steamy sexy scenes. Can’t wait to read the next episode!

Waited until I finished the entire series to comment. This was my first multi-author series.

Overall, The series was not what I expected. I thought each book would play off each other and tell more of a complete story. I did not find that to be the case in most of the books and felt that there was absolutely no reason to read all of the books so just choose the authors or plots that you like.

review for this book: this was the first I've read by this author. It was good but it didn't make me want to check out more. Not sure how this story had anything to do with the overall story, can completely remove and would not make one bit of difference. The main plot of this story never got solved and it didn't get solved in the future books.
