cute & steamy quickie…
So Benny is meant to watch out for Maeve and Millie by request of his teammate/roommate and their older brother. He looks out for one of them a little too well and ends up catching feelings while being protective. So if you’re looking for something quick, with some steam and a lil bit brother’s best friend plot, then you’ll enjoy Arena Lights.

Wowza! Brother’s best friend for the win!
There’s nothing better than a well written hockey romance. This book had it all. Hockey. Spice. Character development. Great flowing plot. Did I mention hockey?
Maeve’s softball team is going to winter training camp in Arizona. She is focused on learning and performance while her twin sister is focused on fun and hook ups.
Benny’s sister is in charge of the softball team during camp, a few miles from his hometown. Benny tags along to help chaperone and see his parents. What he doesn’t expect to do is fall for one of his best friend’s twin sisters.
This is a quickish burn with some buildup and a lot plot action. The story jumps off the page and makes for a quick read. I love this series! This friend group has a lot of character and interact well together.

Need a hockey quickie? Look no further. This is TECHNICALLY #2 in the FU Hockey series, BUT, it can be read as a standalone with no issues. It's 110 pages, but feels like a full, complete book.
Maeve is Levi's little sister. He's is the hockey team captain and NHL bound stud featured in the next book, Sweater Weather. Maeve and her twin sister are going away for a weekend with their softball team. Levi sends his roommate/teammate, Benny, to watch over them. No boys are allowed to mess with the Sexton twins, everyone knows that, especially Benny.
Talk about a hot, two week fling. I really loved Benny and his shenanigans. The whole "don't look at her" caveman thing is much appreciated. "Brother's best friend" is one of my least favorite tropes, but it's actually well done here and not predictable.

I love a good sports romance. And in Arena Lights, Mandi Beck gave me a whole cast of them!
I adored Maeve and her kindness. Her sass. Her dry sense of humor that only endeared her to Benny all the more. Holy sweatpants Benny was hot! I loved seeing both sides of him. The arrogant jock (who could back it up) and his protective side come out where Maeve was concerned.
Their attraction was undeniable but it went deeper than the physical for them both. There was a real connection that was just begging to be explored. If only Maeve wasn't off limits...
My fingers are crossed to see these two again in the future!

I would rate this 3.5 ⭐️ so went with a 4 I hate to round down
Short spicy Novella, at only 110 pages your not going to get an in-depth heartfelt love story.
I actually really enjoyed it, it’s what I call a pallet cleanser. I’ve been reading some dark romance lately, and wanted something short and spicy and this delivered.
Maeve is the quiet twin , Benny is the popular hockey player who also happens to play with Maeve older brother, what happens when Benny chaperones the girls softball team for the weekend??
The story as some smaller drama some little understanding but no major drama , plenty of spice and some dirty talk

Arena Lights was a fun, fast, flirty read that kept me entertained from the first page to the last. Maeve and Benny had a strong connection that was palpable and I loved how Benny was determined to explore their connection even at the risk of jeopardizing his friendship with her brother.
Full of lighthearted situations, serious heat, flirty banter, and a bit of angst, Arena Lights was my first read by this author. Now I think I need to read more in this world and will be checking out the book about the twin’s brother.

Loved this!!
I loved this story of Benny and Maeve!! Maeve is Levi “Sexy” Sexton’s little sister and Benny’s best friend. Benny goes on the softball testing trip with the girls as a chaperone. One night the girls are out and Benny checks up on them. He sees someone hitting on Maeve and gets jealous and helps her out of the situation. Their chemistry is fire!! They have their ups and downs, but they both realize that this is something more. I love this story and the series. I can’t wait for Sweater Weather!!

I like college sports romance, but these guys are a bit over the top. Too many hook ups and bad decisions. It’s hard to think of these guys as nice guys when they treat women the way they do.
Benny and Maeve start out as just a hook up, but it moves into more. There’s not much time to see it develop or get deep, so it’s just a HFN ending.
It will be interesting to see how Maeve’s brother fares since he’s the biggest MW I’ve seen of the group.

A great short read. Sometimes shorter books leave something to be desired. They either don’t take the time to make you invested in the couple, or they end to abruptly. This book was perfect. I was rooting for the characters. It had just enough drama. The only reason I would say it ended too soon was because I wanted to keep reading it! I was sad when I got to the epilogue, but the author tied it together and ended it well. I’m off now to start Sweater Weather.

Samanthaaaaa go away!
I feel like it was too short which is why I gave it 4 stars. I need more like give me a little more than 2 weeks of their life lmfao. Over all the read was good every girls dream of what might happen to her in college with zero Samantha's , man she was a pain in the ashh lol.

Arena Nights was a fun read that I could not put down. Mandi Beck writes such great stories, and this one is no exception. It has a great storyline, lots of laughs, and sizzling chemistry. I highly recommend Arena Nights.

This was my first Mahdi Beck book, and it was super cute. If you like sports romances, this one's for you. Hockey, softball, and The Sand lot reference "you're killing me Smalls!", provide the backdrop for a sweet college romance.

This book had me captivated from the first page. It’s super easy to read and I love Mandi’s writing style. The first kiss, magical! The second kiss…! This was my first book by Mandi and I’m hooked! Great characters and storyline.

Cute. Steamy. Fun. Short.
Those are all the things this novella was. I had read Sweater Weather first and I knew I had to go back and get Benny and Maeve's story. It was well worth it. I loved the attraction between the two of them and how it built. It was adorable...and passionate.
