This is the only biography in English that I have seen of Johann Most. It does a good job of talking about his involvement in the anarchist movement in both the U.S. and Europe and especially his contributions towards sparking an anarchist movement in the U.S. in the 1880s. While recognizing his work in that arena (which consisted of a lot of nuts-and-bolts type work of organizing meetings, going on lecture tours, writing a paper, meeting comrades, etc), the author still seems a little more interested in Most's rhetoric and advocacy of "terrorism" than in what he actually did.
It also has a decent discussion of the International Working Person's Association (IWPA) which was an important anarchist network in the 1880s.
