Lost & Found #3

Burning Love

Rate this book
She always worked alone. He refused to trust anyone with his business. One road trip later and they’d be at each other’s throats… making out.

If Bea Love did one thing well, it was landing any client no matter how much they put up a fight. She was charming but tough, smart but always willing to do what was best for the client. She won them over every time.

Until she met the most stubborn, overly demanding, and sexiest man of her life. Spending the next few weeks with him would be tough but the worst part–trying not to drool over his arms.

There’s one thing Mica Angrov knew to be true, outsiders weren’t trustworthy. He had a perfectly good business in a small town selling his coffee beans to local businesses. It kept a roof over his family’s head and let him help raise his niece.

When a beautiful woman from the city showed up in his home ready to make him an offer too good to be true, he took one look at her and kicked her out. He realized he made a mistake when a doctor explained his niece needed help. He needed that money from the flashy deal the city woman promised for his niece.

After agreeing to travel hundreds of miles and spend weeks with her to land the deal he wondered if the trip would be one big disaster? Or would he end up giving her multiple orgasms like he kept dreaming about?

A hilarious and sexy, enemies-to-lovers small-town romance.

Such a fun and sweet book.

So far, this is my favorite from this series.
This author's writing is really unique. Her books are light, funny, easy to read and also so hot.

You get silly scenes to make you laugh and relax, you also find sexy scenes that leave you hot and bothered, there are crazy and embarassings (in a funny way) occurrances to make you forget the real world, but there are also important topics that helps make the book and its story real.

Bea and Mica are complete opposites. You could never think they would work. But somehow, not only did they work, but they had such awesome chemistry. Their bickering added color to the plot, but when they got down to the good stuff, it wasn't just burning love, it was scorching.

But, as I said, this book also brought some sensitive issues, and we got them from Shelby. I loved when authors do that, bringing real situations to fiction, some of them we don't even think about or take for granted.
And this author knows just how to bring that up with lightness, but sending the right message.

In a fun, breezy, sexy way, this book showed what is really important in life: caring for and nurturing your loved ones, knowing it's okay to accept help in doing so, and living love just like good coffee - hot and strong.

I Loved this funny, romantic storyline from start to finish. The author has given us wonderful characters in this series. Burning love is Bea’s story. We met Bea in book 1 of the series which was about her twin sister Olivia. She is a city girl through and through who is working hard in the family business and is known for closing deals, even if her father doesn’t believe in her yet! Her brother sends her up to the mountains of Maine, where her sister now lives with her mountain man, in order to land the best vendors for his new business venture and just maybe prove something to dear old dad. While visiting her sister Olivia, Bea tastes the best coffee she’s ever had and knows this is one vendor she has to land. She just doesn’t count on meeting the stubborn, rude owner of Fire Lake Coffee and becoming wildly attracted to his surly ways. What’s worse is he wants nothing to do with her, her suggestions or her financial proposals. He just wants her to leave him and his little family alone (he doesn’t trust rich/city folk).

Can Bea convince Mica to let her make him the deal of a lifetime or will personal influences, both past and present, send her back to the city empty handed.

This is a fun read with moments of laughter, suspense and romance. Kudos to the author for a job well done and this reader can’t wait to see what happens next in the Lost and Found series.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars

Burning Love

Burning Love (Lost and Found Book 3)
Elizabeth Lynx

This series is always a good read. I loved the characters in this one. Bea is a strong-will, determined woman who works hard and wants to takeover her dad's company, but he is sexist and thinks a man needs to run the company. She knows this, but still tries to show him she is more than capable, Her brother tells her about a side project he has, and gives her a lead on it. She knows exactly what she wants to bring to the billionaire's escape - this coffee from the small town in Maine that she is in love with so she goes there to make a deal, but does she end up with more than a deal or even a deal? Mica is the coffee roaster and he doesn't trust people for good reasons. He has had many tragedies in his life, and he is rather closed off. They embark on a road trip along with his niece Shelby. OMG, Shelby is so cute! Will Mica and Bea find a common ground? Will they give in to the lust they are feeling for each other? Will Bea learn to be a little less standoffish and flaunting of her wealth? Will Mica open up and learn to trust others? Pick it up and find out for yourself. I read this in one sitting as I once I started I could not put it down. I love they way this author writes and am looking forward to her next book already.

I absolutely adored Burning Love. Bea is this amazingly story character. Bea has a charm about her that has anyone in her presence falling under her spell. Bea’s evolution through the story from high maintenance to a very approachable character. You will immediately fall in love with Mica. There is something magical about his personality. As you get to know Micha, you realize he has good reasons to be the way he is. He has such a gentleness with his niece. Bea and Mica are meant to be together. Their bickering added color to the plot, but when they got down to the good stuff, it wasn't just burning love, it was scorching. You can feel the heat of there intensity coming off the pages. Bea and Micha also have this amazing connection. There is something so special about their relationship.
Elizabeth Lynx is an amazing storyteller and bring so much to this sexy romcom series Lost & Found. Ms. Lynx brings real situations to fiction, some of them we don't even think about, situations that need a voice. And this author knows just how to bring that up with lightness but sending the right message. It is a delightful easy read with laugh out loud moments. This is a 4/5 read for me. Do yourself a favor and check out the Lost & Found Series.

This is the 3rd book in this series and features Bea, twin sister of Olivia, and Mica, maker of that fantastic coffee only sold in the small town he lives in. This is a funny cute read. Bea is determined to get Mica to sell his coffee to a resort for billionaires and she wants to broker the deal. She is trying to get the attic her sexist and self absorbed father and show him she is worthy of taking over the family business. Mica is a stubborn and refuses to even think of selling his coffee outside of the town even though his house is falling apart and his 2 year old niece he is raising needs test to diagnose why she isn’t walking and talking like a typical 2 year old should. Bea is determined and won’t take no for an answer. You need to read this and see what happens.

I received a copy of the book and I am leaving my honest review.

This book is a cute little story, where opposites attract. Bea is the sophisticated savy bussiness woman who wnats to prove herself worthy of owning a company. She travels to land a deal with the grumpy mountain man mica who is guarded and for good reason. He is all about loyalty and family. He will do anything dor the ones he loves.

Mica soon realizes that Bea is a force to be reckoned with, the more time they spend with each other the more things start to heat up.

If you want to see how the story unfolds you should definitely read it.

This is the story of Mica and Bea and how they came together despite obstacles. He’s a hermit but has the best coffee that he sells. He’s a small town man and the money he makes helps take care of his sister and niece. He also thinks that he knows the best for his business and doesn’t trust outsiders. Bea came to find the source of the wonderful coffee and is used to getting and deal for her clients. When she meets Mica and tells him her deal for his coffee and says no and tells her to leave! But when he has a family emergency and needs the money from the deal can he get Bea to work with him. As they work together they get a physical attraction and act on it but will they find a way to make it last? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

am totally in love with this series! They are witty, entertaining with just enough spiciness and swoon worthy!
Bea is a smart business woman and she needs to find the mountain man who produces the coffee beans that she is addicted to prove herself that she is worthy. She meets Mica who rejects her offer first hand, but then recants because he needs the money for his niece's treatments. Soon this business venture will turn into so much more. You have to read it to find out. The characters a sweet and funny. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.

I loved Bea and Mica!! A heartfelt and slow burn romance.

Bea Love is Olivia's twin sister and she's back in the mountain town of Fire Lake, Maine to find out who makes the wonderful coffee that is only found there. Mica, the maker of Fire Lake Coffee is a hermit. He keeps to himself and his sister, Chloe, while they raise their niece, Shelby. He is stubborn and sexy. He needs money for medical care for Shelby and Bea is determined to get it by making a deal with a resort for billionaires to sell the coffee. A crazy road trip with laughs and steamy moments ensues. In the end, Bea learns what love and family truly are.

This was such a great book to read! Despite being a short read, it packed a punch and you enjoying every minute of it. Mica and Bea were great together. Bea was stuck in a job where she knew she wasn't gonna move up. She only got the job cause she changed her name on the application. Her dad didn't have much faith in her, since she was a girl and knew her brother would take over the company. A little trip to Maine, changed so many lives. I have to give Mica credit, sure he used to be this fun loving guy before tragedy struck and he had to grow up. He's had some pressures that have taken him down and he hasn't gotten over them yet. I'm not gonna say he's bitter but he's not the happy go lucky guy he used to be. When Bea came into his life, he didn't know the impact she was gonna have on him. She is a force to be reckon with. She got the job done, bonded with his sister and niece and melted his heart. Bea wasn't looking for love, she was just looking to change her dad's mind. When meeting Mica, she didn't know she was gonna fall in love with the stubborn, sexy coffee mountain man but it happened. There's some very sweet moments in this book. Bea really holds her ground and that I was impressed with. She never backed down even with her dad. She wanted to be happy. I really liked this book and seeing the characters make things work out!

Elizabeth has absolutely done it once again! I've wanted Bea's story since we first met her in Cabin Fever, and Burning Love, the story where we officially meet and fall in love with Bea and Mica was everything I could have asked for and more!
Bea is pretty fabulous, but doesn't always see that in herself, carrying a chip on her shoulder even as she strives to prove herself day in and day out. She doesn't quite see herself the way everyone else does, and tends to think the worst, so she can prepare for the best. It's what she's done to protect herself all her life. Then there's Mica. Deliciously alpha, grumpy, big softy, Mica. He just wants what's best for his remaining family, adores his niece and his sister, and makes a darn good cup of coffee. He also has a pretty big chip on his shoulder, and past experiences have caused him to be wary of strangers, especially those that reek of wealth. Trying to take a person for who they are and not how they're presented is a struggle they both need to overcome.
Bea wants to prove herself, Mica needs money, and his coffee is the answer to both their prayers. One heck of a car ride, mixed signals, lots of "I'm fine" but not really vibes, some more miscommunication and Bea and Mica realizing they have the hots for each other, well, I promise you reader, it gets better and better with each page!
I adored this story, loved them coming to terms with issues that had seemed insurmountable for far too long, a visit back with Olivia and Carter, and also some revelations regarding Konrad (who please and thank you better be getting a book ASAP, maybe with Chloe?!?!) and all I can suggest is enjoy this with a steaming cup of coffee! You won't regret it!

4 Mountain Man Stars

This is a new author to me and I really enjoyed her writing style it is unique. This is book three in the Lost and Found series but I am going to go back and read the others. This is Mica and Bea’s story. I really enjoyed this book. The place setting the people all of it.

Mica is a very stern and prideful man. Life it was it is. He does the best he can to survive with his close-knit family. He built his coffee business and he wants to run it his way. He loves his sister and the niece they share together. He doesn’t want to accept help from anyone.

Bea is smart, sassy and business savvy and doesn’t take no for an answer. She works for her dad and wants to prove to him that she can take over when he retires instead of her brother Konrad.

Bea is let down when her dad wants Konrad to take over, even though she lands an account her father has been wanting, and at an even cheaper price. She is frustrated and tells him how she feels. So When offered a very good opportunity Bea leaves to go see her twin Olivia, she then tastes the most delicious cup of coffee she knows that she needs this. She needs this for her next business venture to prove to her father she has it.

This is a good journey. The people are terrific and I love me a mountain man. The sparks are there from the beginning even when the tough as nails Mica won’t admit it. This nook has a little bit of everything. It has amazing banter, laughs and some drama, great family and friendships, and so much love. Totally worth the read. There are all there for each other no matter what.

I completely recommend this book.

Copy of BOOK REVIEW GRAPHIC

** ARC kindly provided by the author for an honest review. **

When the tall, grumpy and handsome meets the sassy, independent and city woman Bea, sparks will fly!

Well, there would be a long path but along the way, these two made me smile so hard, pushing the other, easily judgemental about others. I loved how they met in the middle and giving somehow a chance for two people who used to work alone and also having trust issues.

Mica was just my kind of book boyfriend, a bit grumpy, but sweet and kind, caring for his family. Having their best interests at heart.

Bea had searched for long her father’s approval, to feel like an equal, working hard and proving that she could make it on her own.

These two were like oil and water at the beginning but when they managed to find their way, to scratch below the surface, it was just magical. The author managed to describe the main characters’ struggles, to bring the angst and heat, served with a strong hint of humour and sarcasm.

A delightful read, sweet with laugh out loud moments. Each story made me want to read more about this place and characters, endearing and entertaining adventures in the mountains.

I'm going to start out by talking about the cover of Burning Love. It's so stinking HOT, that I spent some time just staring at it as I was about to write this review, because I MEAN LOOK AT IT! Okay, I'm moving on though I don't want to since I could just talk about that cover all day long. Bea is a go getter in the family business, and her brother sends her to Maine, where her twin, Olivia, lives, and it's here that Bea drinks the best coffee ever. Now she's tasked to get the owner of Fire Lake Coffee, Mica, to sign a deal with them, but he's not having any of it. See, he just wants her to leave him in peace, so he can take care of his family, so he's quite rude for a cool minute. There's also the small complication of Bea's attraction to Mica, so the humorous journey begins. I stayed laughing quite a bit throughout, while also calling Mica some names from time to time. And that's where I'm going to leave you, as you'll have to find out for yourselves if Bea is successful at signing Mica, and/or will personal issues kill the deal before it ever takes off. So, hit your one click button, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the third book in the series and this is the sister of Olivia from the first book Cabin Fever. She is the smart, savvy business woman always trying to prove to her father just how perfect she is to take over his business. Unfortunately her father is a sexist jerk who doesn't see how hard she works. So her brother enlists her to help him with one of his investments. Find some perks and vendors or his Billionaire resort.

Bea's first thought is the amazing coffee she tasted while in the small Maine town. Getting them to agree is the hard part. Mica is part owner and he hates outsiders. So when Bea comes with an offer he immediately rejects it. However he is caring for his niece and will some developmental issues comes lots of doctors bills, which makes him reconsider. Always expecting Bea to take advantage even when she proves she wants him to succeed. She is used to proving herself though, and for Mica it just might be for keeps!

I love a good adventure. Bea Love (love the name) and Mica Angrov takes us such a fun ride with their story. I immediately fell in love with Shelby and Chloe. These two made the story so much more special. Bea is going to make Mica a very rich man if she can convince him to sell his coffee to an up and coming resort. Mica wants control of his coffee so he can distribute it in case the resort decides they don’t want to hold up their end of the contract. He needs the money, but he must decide if selling his brand is more important than helping his family. Bea doesn’t realize what she wants in life until she sees her sister happily in love with her own family. Can Bea really have that? Or has she let the only man who might be able to give her more, go? Their story is fun and adorable. The characters are so loveable. This can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to when there is so much more?

This is the first book I have read in this series, and I want to read the previous ones now, I hope Konrad and Chloe get their stories told too.
I liked the characters a lot, they were interesting and had depths that you got to uncover as the story moved along. I enjoyed seeing Bea and Mica get to know each other and how they dealt with their attraction and the changes that came because of each other. I liked how unapologetic Bea was and how brave and strong she was. I liked how Mica could look at himself and admit the truth, that he was big enough to admit things and try to make changes in his life. I would have really liked to have seen more of them, maybe they will appear in the next book and show how things have moved on for them and their extended family. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an ARC.

Bea and Mica are like oil and water. She is an outspoken idea woman and he just wants to make the pefect coffee roast. When Bea sets out to prove her overbearing father wrong, Mica wont know what hits him. I enjoyed this story of a road trip with warring characters. Their banter was entertaining and more. They both grew so much from being self reliant (which isnt a bad thing but lonely) to putting the other person first. Mica's niece is a perfect addition to their story and i adored her. Bea might be the most outspoken of the heroines that I have read from Elizabeth Lynx and I loved that. She knows her business and has something to prove but she finds that she can do much better on her own terms. Mica is probably the most closed off of her heroes. He hasnt had a charmed life and it shows so i understand why he is that way. Bea is the perfect match to him in every way.

BURNING LOVE: A Road Trip, Opposites-Attract Romance is Book 3 in Lost & Found Each book can be read as a standalone, but the characters show up from previous books, and so I would recommend reading the 1st book CABIN FEVER by Elizabeth Lynx. It also stays my favorite book of the series.

Mica Angrov makes the best coffee beans, and has a good business in a small town with selling his coffee beans to local businesses. His coffee beans make the best tasting coffee, so when outsiders drank it, they wanted him to expand his business. He liked his simple life, but due to sad circumstances, Mica & his sister Chloe had custody of their 2-year-old niece Shelby. They loved her so much, yet she might have cerebral palsy. Mica knew he would need to come up with more income to get the care that Shelby would need. So when Bea Love showed up to sell his coffee to a conglomerate, she had a hard sell. She was a savvy business-woman, and always won over her clients. Bea had never come across any man as stubborn, bossy, and demanding as Mica. He also was the sexiest man she ever laid eyes on. Mica could not be convinced about this offer until he talked to his sister about the money they would need to help Shelby. That is how Bea ended up on a road trip with a two year old & her stubborn Uncle. This deal was important to both of them. Shelby needed extra medical attention, so they had to learn to get along. Oh! They really learned how to get along well!

Meeting of two stubborn people
4.5
Excellent romance, very well written which is mainly due to the character of its two main characters: Beatrice and Mica. Each of them has prejudices about the other from the beginning about money and those who have it. Mica hates her as soon as he meets her.
Bea is rich but she never had the recognition of her father although she is fully invested in the family business and she spends her time trying to prove it; and Mica is poor, but he roasts a fabulous coffee and he does not want a contract which would make him submit to a group however, Béa's insistence and stubbornness, finally convinces him to give her a chance and he leaves with his 2 year old niece, and with Bea, to convince investors. He would earn the money he needed and she would earn the respect of his father misogynist.

Bea is the daughter of a business owner who believes girls/women belong in the kitchen and not the business world. Her brother Konrad had a job for her to do and get away from her dad and make a good deal to show her dad that she’s good at what she does. In Maine to visit her twin sister who met a mountain man of her own. She has the most wonderful coffee called Fire lake coffee. She needs to find the owner and sell him on this amazing business deal but he isn’t really a warm person. Mica is the brother to Chole and unlce to Shelby. He roasts the beans and makes it all on his own. He’s private man and has a painful past. He has a hard time letting other in, but Bea so how makes it work. There are issues that pop up when they are traveling to the high end resort and even more when his sister is missing.

I have never given a romance book 5 stars before...
I can’t express how much I adore this book. It had a seamless and unique storyline, engaging and beautiful characters, and was just written so well.
Bea is one of the best characters I’ve ever read. She has a lot of dimension; she’s strong, business savvy, generous, and funny.
Mica is such a sweet love interest; rough on the outside but a puppy on the inside.
Bea having the traditional “man” characteristics that show up in romance novels (cold business side, sexually free, masks emotions) really added to the complexity of her character and the dynamics of their relationship.
I could go on and on about how much I love every aspect of the book, so my ending note would sum up everything that can explain the book in my opinion...
*chef kiss*

It was really well done,
Would definitely recommend

This is book 3 in the Lost and Found series. Bea is a head stong go getter. She started at the bottom of her dads company to show him she is capable of doing the job. After 5 years, she is running the marketing department. But her dad is old fashion. No matter how hard she tries, nothing is good enough for him. Her brother gives he a job from one of his investments and she agrees. She already has a client in mind. Micas coffee company is who she has in mind. But Mica doesn't want to out source his coffee to anyone but his town. Even though he needs the money to help with the upkeep of the house and his niece. This story was so funny and i couldn't get enough of it.

Burning Love was a great story it was a fun and entertaining romance with plenty of heart it had me giggling at the great banter between the lead characters. I couldn't help but fall for the grumpy lovable Mica and the ever so sassy Bea. These two were so different from one another but that is what made this a adorable and sweet read. He wants to just take care of his loved one and work his business, she is out to prove something to her father and that is just the start to this great book. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.
