This was definitely different from your average writing book. It definitely will letters back-and-forth between Owen and Sophie. There was a lot of love, hate, advice, behind enemy lines and trying to get the slightest know that was like almost a novel to each other while on tour. These are basically those kind of letters that you keep in a box and you pull them out every so often to remember and show your grandkids how love is involved. It was a decent read. The letters shaped the characters without having the monologues between each other as we expected. Something to experience.

A Dear Jane letter.
Sophie responds with all the anger and hurt his letter inflicted.
Owen responds in kind.
They developed a friendship and support each other through their letter. Over time they fall in love.
A great enemies, friends to lovers short story, told mostly through letters. A nice epilogue to wrap up their story.

This is an enemies-to-lovers stand-alone romance short about an older Alpha man and a younger, curvy woman. A short story of Sophie and Owen about the letters that start after they meet under a tree and he goes back to his unit. At first he wants her to forget about him and sends her a letter she does not like so she writes back to him giving him heck. I enjoyed watching their romance happen through those letters. Love this story and characters. Sophie and Owen used to be best friends. They were just too cowards to admit their feelings to each other, so They just drift away. He went to military and she went to big city.
After some years she received letter from him. They start exangeing letters and finally confest their feelings to each other.
Will Owen survive his last service to claim Sophie as his??

Owen and Sophie communicate through letters when he deploys. Will they get to see each other again? Wonderful heartfelt detailed letters that say more then actual words can.

This is one of my. We quick read favs. The writing letters to each other was the perfect way to write this story. I cried and laughed so much with those first few letters. Great quick read

Nope

No man writes like that, they both wrote long a** letters that seemed to talk in circles. So immature!! I skimmed the majority of it. And who says ‘Take me’? lol This book is as ridiculous, even for a quick read.

I didn’t purchase the book after the sample.

From the letters I wrote, they just both seemed like idiots, and I didn’t know if anything would go beyond the letters themselves, but I didn’t care enough to find out.

Cute premise but very poorly written. Repetitive phrasing, “under the old oak tree” felt like every other sentence and started to get pretty annoying.
