2nd book of series

This is the story of a blind girl becoming a dragonrider. Not sure about her borrowing the sight of others while maintaining her own point of view. But I like the story and if you liked the first book, you'll like this one too.

Can't wait for more

Really like the beautiful imagination in writing this. Found it for and full of little twist. Looking forward to reading more.

New perspective

Ok, I felt like it started slow. I was wrong, I needed the background to understand the viewpoint.
The unique world built by the authors just blows my mind. I can’t wait for them to release the next one. When the dragons teleport to another world encased in the armored mech suit, now we’re going to the next level of realms. Just my opinion.

Small steps

Alex is taking the next step towards becoming a dragon rider. I’m enjoying the shorter stories. Alex is a strong character, and it’s interesting seeing how she thinks, and watching her overcome adversity.

Nice second story

Alex's story continues with her trip to the Wasp nest. A lot of strange stuff to take but she does meet her dragon.

Awesome book!

An awesome second book in the Dragon Approved series! My only complaint is that these are waaaay too short! Get on the ball guys and make them longer!

#DragonsInSpace!

Ramy and Michael have a cute series here. I wish the books were slightly longer, but I am intrigued by Alexis and her journey.

The second entry of Ramy Vance and Michael Anderle’s Dragon Approved series opens with blind protagonist Alex listening to cars go by on her front porch, with a week having elapsed since she had finished the Middang3ard expansion and spoken with the Beholder Manny and game’s creator Myrddin. She is recruited to attend a dragonriders’ school, with the two otherworlders assuring that she will be around peers. They take a ride to the airport, take an airplane to Switzerland, and enter the mysterious otherworld via the Hadron Collider, after which they find themselves in a place called the Wasp’s Nest.

Alex meets the griffin Samara, who gives a tour before her training begins, with some occasional mythos injected such as the indistinguishability of male and female dwarves in Middang3ard. There are other deviations from standard fantasy mythos such as no specific creatures, such as nagas, with Alex meeting a friendly one named Primerose, being black and white. Alex meets the pixie Jollies, who aspires to be a dragonrider as well, and becomes her roommate, with certain dragons specifically tailored for riders belonging to diminutive races. At the end, Alex finds herself paired with the intelligent dragon Chine.

Overall, this was a fairly short and sweet fantasy novella that makes me yearn for more and continue with its many sequels, with each of the authors providing their own notes at the end, Vance wanting to write about dragons in space, and Anderle receiving the opportunity to travel the world due to the financial success of the books. There are some minor similarities to other fantasy stories such as Anne McCaffrey’s Pern series, given the focus on dragonriders, although there’s enough distinctiveness to keep the Dragon Approved series fresh, and I’m definitely not hesitant to recommend the second book to those who enjoyed the first.

This second book of the series was good.

Alex has been invited to go to Middang3ard. The REAL Middang3ard!

That this was happening, and to a blind girl, was something Alex hadn't expected but, with everything in her, she wanted to be a real Dragon Rider! + and here was her opportunity.

Myrddin, the person behind both the Game, and the real place, wanted Alex there, in order to help fight a mysterious figure of the Dark, who was slowly, almost inexorably, taking over the various Realms..

Alex gets to Middang3ard, ready to start on a new phase in her life, with the promise of having sight restored, by Myrddin, somehow.

But her introduction to those who she will be joining, is a hard one, as there seems to be more hostility at her, a Human, joining the Dragonriders, than anything else.

The book ends almost after her introduction to this new World, and so I need to go on to Book Three: 'Defence Of The Nest', in order to find out what happens next.

I guess I should mention that this series is aimed at Young Adults but, me bring me, even though I just celebrated my 64th Birthday, will ever be young at heart, so intend to enjoy it. in all it's wonderful freshness! Lol

So, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about Book Three - and if I have still enjoyed it, at least as much as I did the first two books!

FromVR world to another realm, our MC moves into challenging herself much more than she ever realized. I am thoroughly enjoying the steps this storyline is taking. I’m being given the opportunity to see dragon riding from a whole different perspective. Some of the supporting characters may have questionable roles, but that just adds to the suspense. Looking forward to next. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Dragons In Space

That’s the worst way to describe this world, but it’ll get someone’s attention. Alex, the blind dragon rider is transported to the Wasp Nest to begin her training. And she finds it very much like high school. Cliquey and a little overwhelming But she meets her dragon. A good read.

A Challenged Dragonrider?

I wasn't sure this would work as a story, but I gave been pleasantly mistaken. Alex is a teen: from there the details are the best part!

Another "Dragon" series might not have been as creative or complicated: but the Vance/Anderle duo has the talent & pulled this off beautifully! No spoilers, so pick it up & start reading; you'll be hooked!

Better than the first one as far a streatment of the blindness goes, bu not as good character/world development. Still, it's a good story, and it certainly looks like this one set up the third book to be a grand one. Looking forward to it.

Dragons are the BEST EVER!

I'm a lot older than Michael and Ramy but I've wanted a dragon and still do because I never stopped being a kid.
These books come very close to fulfilling that dream!
