The month was February and Valentine was approaching. When Goodreads dedicate a month to romantic read, how can a core bookworm like us ignore it? So we also decided to read a love story. But the question was which one to take? Rohit Sharma is in our Instagram timeline and we were seeing his posts for the last 1-2 months about his latest book “Our Love Story”. I checked reviews by other reviewers in my network and found it good to venture into.
My first impression of book & cover was that of a typical Mills&Boons. But my impression changed when I read the book. The main characters of the story are Veronica & Aditya. Their first meet was just like another Bollywood love story. The defeated Veronica was on verge of suicide when Aditya saved her. Veronica was a model who had faced many difficult phases during her modeling career, whereas Aditya was a super-rich kid who was not kind at heart. They started finding solace in each other's company. There were difficulties in their party, for example, opposition from Aditya's dad, their pasts, emotional gaps. Read the book to know how will they survive the tides.
It was a valentine's week and surge to read a romance novel was high. So I finished it in just a few sittings. The book is written for a larger audience. It shows the importance of selflessness, care-for-loved-one, emotional support and many more things about the relationship. An ideal read for romance lovers. Language is simple and can be read even by beginners. In many places, you will find good lines and poems. If you love to make notes then do take your pen and papers before you take the book, you will find ample lines of your likings. Overall a nice read.
I will give 3.5 out of 5 to the book.

A Love Story to be read with optimism and you maybe awed with the chemistry of the protagonists 😍
Shattered by her failure in the glamour industry Veronica sees ending her life as the last resort 😢Aditya is the angel in disguise for Veronica who saves her life but just does not stop there but gives her Hope & Direction towards her dreams ❤️😍 (Paves way for her too as he is the son of a business tycoon)
Everything is going smooth & Veronica is living the life she had always imagined (Though Aditya keeps insisting its not because of him I still feel she would not make it without him 🤭) Love is blossoming between the two in the midst of this new venture ❤️
Will their Love stand the test of time or is Aditya just a stepping stone for Veronica? 🙁 Is Aditya having some agenda behind his ever smiling face ? 🧐 “Our Love Story” is filled with moments that will move you & soothe you ❤️
The author @ has clearly given a perspective of what real Love Stories are made up of 👍🏻 I enjoyed reading it as the right expectations were set with the flow of the narrative right from the beginning ❤️📚
P.S - All stories don’t have a Happy Ending but as mentioned in the book keep your Life Mantra as “Try till you Win, and if you lose, try again” ❤️📚😍😇 and you may hope for a Happy Beginning 😁

‘Our Love Story’ by Rohit Sharma is a story that revolves around a struggling model Veronica Jacob and a superrich guy named Aditya Bakshi. It is a story of how two strangers fall head over heels in love for each other. Both Veronica and Aditya are going through a lot and both are handling it in their own way. We rarely find someone helping a stranger selflessly and Aditya is this guy who has helped Veronica in overcoming all her difficulties and getting her life on track. They both soon admit their love for each other even when they themselves tried to conceal their feelings for each other and even when Aditya’s Dad opposes to their relationship. Everything seemed to be going fine until one fine day life takes a sudden turn and Veronica learns the facts that Aditya has been trying to hide from her right from the beginning. What is this fact that Aditya is trying to keep from Veronica? What will be Veronica’s reaction to this new fact that she has just learnt? Will Veronica and Aditya be together after facing all the opposition from Aditya’s father? To know more read Our Love Story.
My Thoughts:
The plot of the story is excellently written and will surely keep the readers engaged till the end of the book. Each page has a surprise for the readers and will keep the readers on edge throughout the book.
The characters are well-developed. The characters are described in detail which makes them more familiar with them and also will surely make the reader more close to them emotionally. I loved the character of Dharmesh who is always there with Aditya and Veronica and helped them both tremendously. I loved how Aditya and Veronica are there for each other even in tough times and
The narration is excellent and will keep the readers engaged throughout the book. I loved the poems that express feelings of both the characters i.e. Aditya and Veronica and that makes the book more special.
The cover page of the book is very cute and the title of the book is also apt to the plot of the book.

The book is nothing short of a pure love story which is weaved with emotions and emotions alone.The writing style was so lucid and the flow was flawless. I initially thought about mentioning couple f pages - Pg no 64 and 65 as I found it appealing but the pages that followed later were equally good. Hence there is o specific mention about any pages, whatsoever.
The story has a great potential to be made into a movie. The start was a bit slow but yes, you cannot expect anything from a romantic story which usually take its time to gather pace and momentum. After the first few pages, you would feel like getting grabbed into the book by the two major characters - Aditya Bakshi aka Adi and Veronica Johnson aka VJ.
They meet at an unusual place and an instant spark happens. Adi was from an affluent family whereas VJ has come to Mumbai to join the fashion industry which has evaded her from getting the opportunities.However things take a different turn after her meeting with Adi.
Adi's father Vikramjeet Bakshi never showed any love towards his son. When an unforeseen event happens, it makes him understand as to how ruthless he was, as a father.
Will he make amends with his son?
What happens to VJ?
Read this gripping novel which made me cry - not in one or two instances but throughout the story due to mixed emotions - happiness, love, affection.
The story has a great potential to be made into a movie. The start was a bit slow but yes, you cannot expect anything from a romantic story which usually take its time to gather pace and momentum. One of the most beautiful romance stories I have read!
This is the story of Veronica, aka VJ and Aditya. VJ is a struggling actor in Mumbai and has faced numerous rejections and a lot of humiliation when she decides to end her life. But life has other plans for her.
Standing on the edge of a bridge, waiting to jump, she meets Aditya, son of a business tycoon. Aditya not only saves her life, but also helps her realise her dreams and both of them start falling in love.
But how can life be so merciful?
VJ soon discovers Aditya's secret and is left shattered. Now it is up to her, will she sacrifice everything for her love or choose her dreams over everything else?
This book is a complete rollercoaster of emotions. You cannot predict the turn this book will take, whether it will leave you in tears or in smiles, but I assure you that it will definitely make you believe in true love!
I highly recommend this book to all the romance lovers out here, especially if you are a beginner. The language is easy and the added quotes make it even more beautiful to read.

She, being sexually harassed and defeated by her constant failure, decided to end her life's miseries. While she was standing in the parapet of Gateway of India and ready to jump, Aditya came in her life as a beacon of hope, trust and love. He saved her life and became her's guiding angel. Soon she got an advertisement contract and became an overnight sensation. They both knew they were in love with each other but Aditya refused to confess his feelings and then a tragedy happened in their beautiful life. To know more how it had changed their lives and how they deal with it grab a copy soon.
Our love story is a beautiful and heart-wrenching romantic novel. The author has eloquently written the beauty of trust, friendship and selfless love. The characters are well developed and the story narration is effortlessly beautiful. The chapters have free verses which make the reading delightful. Apart from being romantic, this book is inspiring and motivating. It teaches us few beautiful life lessons that worldly riches cannot fill the void in a relationship, being hopeful is the only way to thrive in a difficult situation.
Coming to the characters, I liked that characters are not portrayed perfect in terms of their looks. Veronica is dusky and beautiful whereas Aditya is average looking short guy. He has a peculiar habit of rolling his fingers at certain situations, which as a reader helps me to connect with his state of mind which I truly appreciate. In this story, he is the symbol of hope and she is the symbol of sacrifice. Veronica's selfless sacrifices and loyalty to be with him through thick and thin are commendable. The other important characters are Vikramjeet Bakshi and Mr DJ. Mr Bakshi had neglected his son from the day he was born. The author has beautifully described the father's remorse for neglecting his child. Mr DJ is the uncle we all need. He is the fatherly figure for Aditya who has cared, loved and supported him like his own child. All the characters make this story alive.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is gripping and has an essence of Bollywood romantic movies. I'd recommend this book to all the readers who want to experience a soulful journey of two individuals deeply fallen in love.

It's been a long while since I read a love story by an Indian author and liked it. Thank you @author.rohit for this book! I really enjoyed reading it!
This is the story of Veronica Jacob, a struggling model in Mumbai and Aditya Bakshi, son of a prominent business tycoon. Fate intertwines their lives in the most strange circumstances when Veronica is about to end her life and Aditya prevents her from doing so.
Aditya makes it his life's motto to see Veronica succeed in her endeavor of becoming a famous model. He puts his own life at stake for her dreams.
Aditya is battling his own personal demons. His mother had died instantly after he was born and his father held him responsible for the same, refusing to accept him as his son. Still, Aditya is a optimist and tirelessly has a smile plastered to his face all the time. He loves to play guitar. Unlike Veronica, he doesn't have any personal aspirations in his life. Aditya becomes Veronica's savior in all of her battles against fate.
I loved Aditya's positive outlook towards life and Veronica's unwavering devotion towards Aditya.

While reading this book, I felt like a Bollywood film was playing in front of my eyes. It has all the elements of a blockbuster; love, heartbreak, longing, drama, suspense etc.
If you like to read an intense tragedic love story, I would recommend this book to you. It has a simple language and is capable of breaking your heart and making you cry.

As I have read in his interview that first he thought of many titles,but then ended up with a very simple title which relates to the story very much and in the preface itself, the title declares itself a meaningful one. This was my first Romance genre novel and trust me,it blowed my mind. It felt like I was watching a movie or a serial because the author was very descriptive of every scene. I could relate a hindi serial casted a few years ago, Its name was 'Tu ashiqui' and it was favourite which made the novel more lovely for me. The stories of both didn't match but my mind forced me the two assume the protagonists same. I liked the cover and overall its superb!

The story starts with Veronica, a model, who's trying to commit suicide one night. She takes this step as she had been molested by various sorts of directors. And as such cannot go through this struggle anymore. But fortunately enough she's saved by Aditya, who's the son of a rich businessman.
Aditya builds her up slowly and steadily, makes her gain confidence in herself. But life's not a bed of roses for these two people as Aditya is hiding his torments. Thus starts a journey of hope, love, selflessness, and romance.
I loved this book not because of it being a LOVE STORY. No, it's not a fairy tale. But because it taught me a lot about being selfless, hope, and the power of true love.
It is beautifully written and while reading you could feel every emotion in your as if it's happening with you. I also loved the small snippets written in between each chapter. It is a must-read for romance fanatics and especially people who are in a relationship. It's like a proper Bollywood cute, romantic love story. I read such kind of love story by an Indian author after a long time. And I will surely be reminiscing about it in the future .

Read this story if you love Romantic novels and I'm so sure you will love the character of Aditya so much! It is a blessing that Veronica met such a person in her life. His love for his mother, the way he yearns for his father's love, his humbleness with his father's servants, and his good heart to help someone repeatedly though he doesn't know the person ago and his ceaseless smile that hides all his pains, made him a memorable character! Let it be the persistent father or the workers there, author Rohit Sharma has made his best in creating those characters that are more natural and spontaneous.
I have no words to describe the flawless descriptions of the author. I have highlighted many heart touching lines in this book to reread them in future. The writing style is simple and great! The plot of the book is so so good and I still wonder if I read a romantic novel or watched a blockbuster romance movie!

It's a feel-good, romantic and sensitivity written story, which makes you smile. The story makes the reader live the early 2000's era when we used to be excited about TV shows and times were simple.

Our love story is one of fantastic creations by Rohit Sharma.
Before this I read Rohit’s all books but I like this more. Specially I like Veronica character and then Aditya. This book is roller coaster of emotions, you can feel and see lots of changes in one story.
Romance is Rohit forte and once again he has done his best in this book. If you are looking some romance with thriller then pick this piece it's really make you feel amazed.
After Te amo.. I can say Rohit succeed to enlighten the fire in readers.
The best things is about this is editing and selection of words which make people to learn the new things too. Being an engineer he always try to do something in his vocabulary.
Over all Our love story is totally paisa wasool book and if we can see some move on this in near future I will never get surprised.

My review:
This is the story of Aditya, a gentleman with great virtues. Being a son of the richest man in the radius Aditya is a man with a heart made of gold. He always craves for love hiding so much behind his persona. On the other hand, there is Veronica, a beautiful young woman and a model by profession on a sad day with many evils perpetuating into her life decide to end her life.
As said many times if the stars conspire everything will be random but unplanned and thus good things happen. Both the souls meet and thus the magic wand of love showers its blessing. With unsaid feelings, unwanted events and unexplainable events the author has weaved a good love story. What happens inside their story can only be unveiled when the book is read.
I recommend this book for every romance genre lover.

3. Unconditional love is explained well
4. Difference between materialistic life and selfless life is expressed beautifully

Sometimes terse and abstract narratives in a story make the reader in me very happy. Sometimes, a detailed explanation with good emotional quotient allures me too. Such is the case here. With very nice storytelling the author has narrated the story in a rhythmic style.

Romantic fiction is my go-to genre. Being a hardcore romance sucker, I have read so many beautiful novels and they always fill me with so many emotions that it gets difficult to express or pen them down. There’s love, happiness, joy, drama, sorrow, tears and whatnot. A complete package of life and most importantly LOVE.
I love how beautifully some authors can tell a love story and it is always a pleasure to read their works.
‘Our Love Story’ by Rohit Sharma is one such amazing novel. When I picked it up, I didn’t know that it would move me in so many ways and touch my heart so deeply. It is a mesmerising tale of Aditya and Veronica.
These two characters and the way they are being written and how they grow together as the story moves forward is commendable.
Aditya is the son of a business tycoon, not much loved by his father, but no matter what, there’s always a smile on his face. I felt he believed in living life right at this moment, living life as if it’s his last day. A full of life person.
Veronica, on the other hand, a 24 years old girl, aspiring to be a top model, has been through on her journey towards her dream. From sexual harassment to being completely broke to heartbreaking disappointments in life, she has faced it all, still, she is surviving. Managing to live yet another day of her disappointing life.
What happens when the jolly, happy to go Aditya meets Veronica, who has lost all her hopes in life?
What is the plan of destiny for people as opposite as the sides of a coin?
I loved Aditya’s character so much because there is so much to this guy that you would want to know more and more about him. I fall in awe of his character because of his humble, happy nature and his optimistic view towards life.
Some characters always stay with you in life and Aditya was one such character for me.
I would recommend this book for all the people out there who love reading about Love and Romance. This tale is not just any other story, it’s the one that needs to be heard. The kind that needs to be celebrated.

These two characters and the way they are being written and how they grow together as the story moves forward is commendable.
Aditya is the son of a business tycoon, not much loved by his father, but no matter what, there’s always a smile on his face. I felt he believed in living life right at this moment, living life as if it’s his last day. A full of life person.
Veronica, on the other hand, a 24 years old girl, aspiring to be a top model, has been through on her journey towards her dream. From sexual harassment to being completely broke to heartbreaking disappointments in life, she has faced it all, still, she is surviving. Managing to live yet another day of her disappointing life.
What happens when the jolly, happy to go Aditya meets Veronica, who has lost all her hopes in life?
What is the plan of destiny for people as opposite as the sides of a coin?
I loved Aditya’s character so much because there is so much to this guy that you would want to know more and more about him. I fall in awe of his character because of his humble, happy nature and his optimistic view towards life.
Some characters always stay with you in life and Aditya was one such character for me.
I would recommend this book for all the people out there who love reading about Love and Romance. This tale is not just any other story, it’s the one that needs to be heard. The kind that needs to be celebrated.

"OUR LOVE STORY" is the love story of Aditya and Veronica or I should say Adi and VJ. It's a sensitive, romantic and motivating story about selfless love and intricate relationships- an inspiring tales of love and heartbreak, hope and hopelessness, friendship and hatred, smile and tears.
We say true love is rare but we all have loved someone so much that nothing mattered to us at that point of time. And not all love stories are two sided, some are one-sided also.
For me love is a beautiful feeling where a person's heart matters more than his/her looks. What would I do with a good looking person 30-40 years later, if our hearts don't match. Love is when someone understands you, supports you irrespective of the circumstances, accepts you with all your flaws and scars and inspires you to become a better person everyday.
People say that love is blind. No it's not, it just makes you a little more optimistic towards life, gives you more strength and a reason to fight the challenges life throws at you. We often see that people give up their dreams for love not because they are no more capable of fulfilling them but because priorities and dreams change with time and we start seeing those dreams with our love.
I can go on and on about love. It's one of my favorite topics to talk about. We need to understand that loving someone doesn't mean that other person is supposed to love us back. Love is selfless, it is accepting the fact that it's okay if your love doesn't love you back.
While reading this book I felt that I was watching a romantic bollywood movie which made me smile, cry, pained and at times I found myself praying for things to get better. If you are a fan of romances this book should be your just read.

This story is just not any story but a tale of SELFLESS LOVE and HOPE.
MY TAKE:- 1) Language of the book is easy and good for beginners.
2) I loved the writing style as it was lucid and engaging, kept me hooked since the first page. While reading I felt like I am watching a movie.
3) I loved the story as it was about selfless love and hope. It is an emotional ride and teaching us some basics of love. It will teach you that love is not in those 3 majical words but being with the someone through the Thick and thin and keeping all the promises you make.
4) At the end, it was a satisfactory read as everything was on point without any lengthening and exaggeration of scenes or including the unnecessary scenes.
5) The character development was done very well and yes people Aditya and Veronica do exist.
6) I really love the little little poems which were included as they were complimenting the scenes.
7) I recommend this book to all the Romance Genre lovers and to the beginners for an emotional and fascinating read.

Aditya appears in the form of a stranger and becomes the light that guides her to success and joy. They inevitably fall in love with each other and live happily ever after. Or do they? Is there anything called happily ever after? Fate and life keeps throwing numerous tests at them, breaking them as well as making them.
We all crave for true love but it is as onerous as it is blissful. They stayed with each other in health and in sickness, gave each other topmost priority and selfless love and it absolutely melted my heart. If left me craving for a relationship like Adi and VJ whose love rises above looks, wealth, and better outward interferences and opportunities.
The characters are beautifully and very realistically developed. This novel brings out the power of love and the exigency of optimism in life. While Veronica taught loyalty and Aditya dealt with all the harshness that life threw at him with a pious smile, there are other characters as well who show how love also has the potential to bring out the detrimental side of people, consciously or subconsciously.

I am not really fond of love stories but after reading a stellar work (Love Of My Life) from the same author, I knew I have to pick this one up. And I am happy that I did as it actually instilled in me a sense of empathy for the fellow beings and gave an altogether different dimension to my thought process.
The story starts with Veronica who after numerous rejections on her modelling career front is on the brink of giving up when a dashing, filthy rich guy Aditya save her. Their encounter just doesn't stop here but in the form of an apparent kind hearted Aditya, the female protagonist sees a ray of hope, a silver lining in her shattered world. Everything is going well, her life is filled with optimism when one fine day she discovers something about seemingly innocent lad and finds herself devastated. What happens next? Read the book to find out.
The plot has nothing new and will bear resemblance to every tale you have either heard, read or watched but what differentiates the book is the way story is narrated. The story telling skills with wide arsenal of apt words is praiseworthy. The little poems in between are too hard hitting and engrossing. It compels the readers to actually note them down somewhere. The characterisation is top notch and so does the cover. The story picks up pace slowly but that's how an ideal love tale should be IMO.
In this month of Feb, when love is in the air, one can certainly give this one a try to satiate their romantic souls.

The storyline is soo emotional and wonderful that it can make u cry and happy at the same time. The narration is beautiful with an easy to go language which can absolutely keep you hooked.
The characters are well developed and holds there own important place throughout the story. The title is appropriate to the story and connects with the plot. Reading a good love story after a long time was refreshing. Though I am not a fan of love stories, I found this book a good one and would like to appreciate the efforts of the author for penning this story well. I give this book 3.5 stars out of 5 and here is my review of it.
The story revolves around Aditya and Veronica where the male protagonist is a rich guy and the female protagonist is a struggling model. Though Aditya is rich, he is simple at heart, down to earth and ready to help people. Veronica moved from Goa to Mumbai to take a step ahead in her career. The two fall in love with each other but do not confess their feelings. What is the reason behind this? What is stopping them from expressing their emotions? You will have to read the book to find it out.
The title was a simple one and can be suitable for almost every novel that revolves around a love story. I cover is pretty and looks pleasing. The plot was a good one but the narration made it better. Though the story seemed predictable at times and giving Bollywood feels, I still liked the way how the author narrated the events in the story.
If you enjoy reading romantic novels, you should definitely go for this book. And, if you appreciate every genre, you can give this book a read.

Its just WOW.....and SO Beautiful love story... and also very inspiring too..
We all know true love needs sacrifices and pure dedication which Veronica had alot due to which she has sacrificed her once most cherised dream and followed her heart and love.. Aditya in his most difficult phase of life.
Aditya.. i felt really bad for him but after all the hardships he came out as a winner just because of true love..
They both were so different but yet so similar and The Love they have for each other is the most beautiful and inspiring part of the book.
The twist in the in their lives made me cry but their true love made me happy...🙂🙂
It truly gives us reminder How true love conquers all odds of life...
If anyone is a fan of romance genre they will surely love this book..

It was definitely an emotional story, but the story plot was believable and Well written,

Someone said, true love can change not only life but also Destiny. I believe it, and this book " Our love story " is one of the eye opener about what exactly true love is! The complete plot revolves around veronica who is struggling to live her life to be a perfect model and aditya, A rich guy. They met just like a dramatic way in Bollywood . They both have a different story to survive and they became the strongest supporter for each other which impressed me definitely.
Plot is unique from any other random love story and its very well constructed. Where love and passion is a mutual goal, nothing can be better than this. Aditya became a shield for veronica and she became the backbone. I have never read any love story which is so steady without any kind of unnecessary drama.
The struggles of a woman to her every next step is perfectly exposed here, how veronica getting sexually harassed by her casting director was shivering and intolerable indeed. How it impacts to her life mentally, socially and physically is very well described. Trust me, Its a story of million women in our society.
I must appreciate author's writing style which is standard , lucid and facile. Narrations are engaging and catchy , I was hooked with pages till the end. It took 2 days to complete the book, and after reading I was so satisfied with the story, plot, characters and so on.
All characters arr very well defined and devloped. And sub characters are also very well plotted. Title and cover of the book was so simple but after completing , it doesnt even matter to me. Authors effort and dedication is appreciating. Who like love stories, this book is highly recommended for them.

I don't know where to start or where to end... But I could talk about this book for a day or two!
Aditya, younger and a hated son of Vikramjeet Bakshi, a tycoon in telecom industry.
