Skye is on the hunt! Ten years ago, Native American girls began disappearing. A serial killer had found his hunting ground on and around the Reservation, plucking teens off the streets. He had a type and he stuck to that type with very little variation. He never left bodies behind, preferring instead to keep his trophies to himself. He slid under the radar for a decade until a chance encounter stirs Skye's team into action. No longer in the shadows, the killer begins to play a deadly game of cat and mouse. Will Skye and Josh be able to put the pieces together and find him before he abducts another girl? Or will someone close to them fall prey to this demented psychopath? Twists and turns abound in this 7th novel of the series. Skye faces her greatest challenge yet. No crime scenes. No bodies. A mystery that’s lasted a decade. Have these girls been forgotten by everyone but Skye?

Another great adventure with Skye and the gang. It’s so great to see Sierra developing a personality that’s distinct from her parents. The team dynamics are still strong but the relationships continue to evolve as the gang navigate real life situations with each other as they hunt for the murderer of native girls who have gone missing over a 15 year period. The team has to deal with the local police who does not want them there, but Skye will not be deterred. This is another well plotted, well paced booked that will keep your attention till the end
The group takes on the task of finding the killer of twelve girls taken from an Idaho reservation. The local police don't want them there and neither does most of the town, but Skye can't walk away from this case. Stunning locations and a storyline that will captivate you make this book a must read.
Creepy deliciousness! Skye Cree & Company are back with Forgotten Bones, Vickie McKeehan's 7th novel in this series, and better than ever. Skye, Josh and the Artemis Foundation are hot on the trail of a cold case of 11 missing girls. Excellent suspense and red herrings keep this story riveting.
I like the continuing saga of Skye Cree. The story is detailed, interesting and a good read. The Spirit animal isn't talked about much here, which was my only disappointment. I think it's part of who she is and why she's so effective.
Skye and crew head to Idaho to work on a case of missing girls. What unfolds is so twisted, putting Skye and her friends in danger. This whole series is great! I’m looking forward to reading the next book!
Wolf, dogs, spirit guides and murder. I absolutely loved this book! Skye and her team head to Idaho to discover what happened to a dozen native girls who have vanished without a trace.
Suspense, intrigue gut wrenching read. Kudos to Vickie McKeehan for stating horrific happenings without going into gory detail. Heart wrenching kidnappings of children, all dealt without exploiting details but emotion still felt. We see the toil these cases take on the whole group, how they grow, their ups, downs. Bless the sunshine Serria brings to each book. This one ended with an Oh no....and wondering about the next to come.
Wow! Skye Cree is back in action, this time looking into the mysterious disappearance of several young girls who vanished without trace. There is loads of content and lots of suspense in this intriguing, addictive and extremely well written story which I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
The characters are devoted, quirky, smart and real! Skye and her 'crew' are on the case again when a serial killer has been taking Native American girls under the radar for years. Can they stop him or will Skye be the next victim? These books are suspenseful but are not graphic.
Judy seeing and interacting with the long dead ghost of Sara Grayhawk, propelled Skye and the Artemis Foundation to go to Idaho onto the Rez to find their serial killer and the bodies of the young women. On arriving they met Sara’s older brother/ local Tribal police, Quade who finally acquiesced to let them assist in his ten year search for all these fifteen abducted and missing girls, like his sister. As always it was an ‘upstanding, white citizen’, the local sheriff Gavin Jaynes and his psychopathic, misogynistic brother Roman, who were members of the community and the last to be suspected even with a flawed record filled with abuse complaints, reflective of our real life 2020 situations. The Thin Blue Line breaks again.
Great story but the idea of the serial killer as a member of law enforcement was predictable, and the continued disenfranchisement of the Native American peoples and POC defied science as it shows us one race, one species: the human race. The characters, especially Skye’s, were developed to give a depth to their personalities, but Sierra’s bonding with her ABC dogs and Kiya was priceless. Located two typos, but the one that grates my last nerve is the ‘your/ you’re’ usage. Why is this so difficult people! A Must Read!
