With the Gods free to cause chaos and earth caught in the crosshairs will there be anything left to fight for and save or will it all turn to dust and destroyed forever. Will the earth be saved, is Unya it’s last hope and what happens when her past is revealed, will she be reborn within the deaths that nobody saw coming?
B.C. Morgan lives in England with her amazing fella, their twin devils (also called kids), and their pets. She’s a lover of all things creative from baking to drawing, if it’s creative she’ll give it a go. For someone who claims to not like people, she somehow always manages to surround herself with friends and family.
While B.C. loves bringing life to all the voices in her head, who demands she tells the world their story, she sometimes wishes they were less homicidal. But alas, what’s a poor author to do when death and destruction is being demanded?! To be fair it isn’t really surprising B.C.’s characters are acting like that, considering she has a list with everyone who’s wronged her. It started with the tooth fairy who didn’t pay for her teeth.
What a book!!! I do believe that Retribution has just became my favorite in this series!!!
Unya is such a great character, I freaking love her. BC does an amazing job of creating these unique characters, ones that just reach out and grab you. You need to know what happens to them next. You just really cannot help but love them.
The story itself is fast paced, pretty much captured all of my attention from the first page and did not let up until the end. The cliffhanger, oh man!!! BC knows what she is doing.
So if you are looking for a great series to get caught up in, may I suggest The Ebony Child series. It is full of heartbreak, lots of drama, action and just really one hell of a good read.
This series is never predictable and that's what makes it so great! We finally see what has happened to Unya, Lawson and Malachi. Kat is one character I can't decide whether I like her or not. The characters make you like or hate them, not just bland which is fab! There are the usual twists which you don't see coming and love how the plot thickens throughout the book. I can't wait to read the next one! You won't regret starting this series if you haven't already!
This was an amazing read, that I could not put down and read in one sitting. It moved along at a great pace making for an easy read, has interesting and unique characters that you cannot help but fall in love with, and you want to know more about. The story will grab you. It is amazing and will not let you go until you finish the last page. This is a must read, no doubt about it.
I have loved this series from the very beginning and the third book definitely does not disappoint! I absolutely adore Unya. She always gets me all up in my feelings. The action pulls you straight in from the first word and you never know what’s going to happen next. Go ahead. Read it. You know you want to!
Ok,so this has been my favorite in the series! I’m so mad at a couple of these characters. BC is killing the with these cliffhangers, but I’m absolutely in love with the action, lust, drama, and heartbreak. The next one is going to be a beast of a book. I can feel it!
Unya is amazing. I love her story and you will love her too. This is one of those series that I couldn’t put down. I love the world Morgan created here, it’s action packed and an emotional ride. So buckle up for the trip.
Out of the three books ive read so far in this series i think this is the darkest. Unya (FMC) spends the majority of this book in hell/underworld with no memory and at the mercy of Hades. With no idea with she can trust. Malachi seems to be the only one on her side but he has his own problems. Blimey this series just keeps going from strength to strength. Its a blink and youll miss it kind od series as its so fast paced its hard to keep up especially with characters constantly changing their sides. Keeps you on your toes thats for sure. Im just loving reading it though. Its just brilliant
