Olivia T. Turner really knows how to write OTT alpha males. I loved his possessiveness. He's so obsessed.
The story is about DeMarcus a.k.a. No-Bility and Ayana.
He's one of the best rappers of all time. He hires a PR company, MREX, to help him launch his record label.
She works for Mrs. Winters, the CEO of MREX and his PR account's assigned to her.
One glimpse of her and he's obsessed. And once he wants something, nothing can stop him from getting it. But will it be too hard when she's already in love with him?
It has lovely epilogues.

This was a short read sith some steam.
Ill be honest i wasnt feeling the rapper plot.. also first time reading a rapper plot.. idk i just didnt connect with it. It was a good story i was just meh. I honestly thought maybe it would have drama from DeMarcus best friend.. or something in the rap world? But nope.. nothing..
Ayana was a grade A super fan.. like stalker Grade A.. she followed his career and all, even went to the club to see if she can meet him but she couldn't since he has a massive following.. as for DeMarcus he is pretty tame for a rapper, until he sees Ayana from afar and knows that is his girl.. and when he sees her again at the company who is helping him achieve his dreams he makes sure shes apart of it.

It was an intense ott/p/j H ,instalove book. Double V. DeMarcus was feral for Ayana & Ayana was giving idol-worship to the extreme. It just wasn’t for me but that doesn’t mean it was a terrible book.

I really loved this book and this author cannot do no wrong as far as I am concerned.
Ayana works for PR company MREX and she’s about to take on her biggest account with the launch of rapper and business man DeMarco who also happens to be the man of her dreams. Agreeing to a night out with her best friend at a club she knows he will be at she is just hoping to catch a glimpse of him but never gets the chance, but when he shows up for the meeting the next morning there is a chemistry she wasn’t expecting and he’s making it clear he wants her and only her. But why would he want her when he can have anyone, is this real or is he a player?
DeMarco has never been interested in any woman before, his business is all that patters but that’s until he spots Ayana and his world suddenly stops and changes direction. He doesn’t just want her he needs her but when she vanished before he can get to her he fears he has lost her for good. He is shocked when he finds her handling his new PR campaign and now he’s found her he’s never letting go, will she believe him though when he tells her he’s claiming her forever?
This was short, sexy and very sweet with two virgins and a shared love. Enjoyable read with a great look into their future. 4🌟 read.

I enjoyed this story. Helpless for Her is an instalove story with an alpha male and a sweet girl. Although it is a shorter story, you will find a good story in between these sheets of paper.

Holy cow. DeMarcus may be the craziest OTT Hero Dani Wyatt has created since Akea in ‘You. Me. Bed. Now”, and I didn’t think that was possible. He goes from fine to thinking he won’t be able to function without her in under a minute of laying eyes on her in a crowded club. Of course she’s unaware of this and leaves the club without realizing that he is doing his best steamroller impersonation to get to her. Cue frustrated Hero roaring and growling until the next day when (because this is Romancelandia) he arrives for a meeting with a PR firm to find Ayana working there. Yes, the coincidences are ridiculous, but I. LOVE. IT. Their relationship progresses at a breakneck pace that is filled with steamy sweet goodness made even better by the fact that they are BOTH virgins with epilogues 8 month, 9 years and 25 years out.

Wow what a read.
This is a fast paced love story.
Ayana and her bestfriend Madison attend a club event that her favorite rapper is attending. But she never gets a glimse of him, either a bouncer, or a taller person even the ropes that ward off intruders into the VIP room are in her way.
Ayana works for the PR company that is about to sign him though.
DeMarcus doesn't have time for women he is goal oriented everal financial ventures building his portfolio, but his love is the record label he is building. His bestfriend Tre is his right hand man with $$$ in his eyes, he takes care of all the promotional events and branding.
When Madison makes a fool of herself dancing on the bar and causes a scene the two women flee, Ayana is bummed she didn't get to see DeMarcus, but what she does not know is that Madisons little scene got DeMarcus's attention BIG TIME. First he was laughing, then he went stone cold obsessive, angry even causing a scene of his own.
But as they fled his fans swarmed him keeping him from her.
Days go by with no luck in finding his mystery woman. Tre is trying to calm the storm that is brewing in DeMarcus but to no avail.
But when they go to the meeting with the new PR company all their lives change.
You need to read the book it is full of fun, passion, heat scorching scenes. Desks, walls, chairs recording studio sometimes even a bed. The only thing I would have liked would of been some lyrics to his songs.
I wonder if Madison will get a book? Or Tre?

I have every book Ms. OTT has written, at least what's available to e-read that is, and I am comfortable giving my honest opinion about her latest "Helpless For Her." I was thoroughly enjoying the first two chapters, when DeMarcus sees his "soulmate" without meeting her, losing her amongst his crowd of fans and then coming face to face with his mystery girl at a business meeting. The tension was there, the insta-everything that Ms. OTT manages to enfold within the first 5-15 minutes of meeting each other. What has stopped me from giving this my usual five stars is the Ayana - the "soulmate." Where has DeMarcus's intensity, possessive behaviour towards someone he has just met, is believable because of Ms. OTT's quick background summary; how he has been written with determination and pin-point focus on not only his music but also building his empire. But Ayana, I find her very young, "saving herself" for what would have been an unrealistic meeting with her favourite rapper. I know it's fantasy, I know it's meant to be over-the-top, but I have to at least "relate" with the characters I'm reading about, and in this case, this couple does not work. I'm still giving this book four stars because it's Ms. OTT and not being a fan of this story won't stop me from purchasing the next one.

Ayana has worked hard to get where she is at working for Cindy at MREX. When Cindy tells her that she will be leading the new account coming in she is excited, but when she finds out it is for Demarcus Elba (aka No-Bility) she is over the moon.
Demarcus is ready to put everything in motion for his new label, working hard and avoiding distractions to get where he is at. But when he sets his eyes on the goddess in the white dress, he knows he has finally found the one and when he loses her in the crowd - his world comes crashing around him. When he walks into MREX for a meeting and runs into the angel he thought he lost, he will do any and everything to make her his.
Olivia brings all the heat and passion between Ayana and Demarcus in this story. I am telling you, it is fantastic with insta-EVERYTHING and has scenes that will make make you toes curl with deliciousness. I loved it and have hopes to see the possibility of Ayana’s friend being featured in a future story!

He has a meeting with a pr company he gets a shock when Ayana walks into the room behind her boss he tells everyone to get out and then speaks to Ayana. Ayana can’t believe she is talking to her crush and him telling her all the things he wants to do with her when his manager tells him he needs to leave for his interview he refuses and then says cancel his next gig but Ayana settles him down by agreeing to go with him to his next gig. DeMarcus can’t believe she is finally with him where she will stay forever yes he is possessive and obsessive with her but she gets it and loves him for it. Who thought things would start out like this for the two of them and then the journey they take on.

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Ayana is excited when she learns her favourite rapper is going to be working with the company she works at. DE Marcus Elba is a famous and successful rapper, businessman and hopefully producer. He doesn’t have time or any intentions in finding love. That soon changes when he sees a pretty woman at a club. From the moment he sees her, he knows she is the woman for him. When she disappears before he can meet her, will he be able to track his woman down?
The chemistry between De Marcus and Ayana is clear to see and I loved them as a couple. I loved how possessive De Marcus is of Ayana.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Diversity amongst Genres
This book was amazing. I have been reading this genre of books for about four years now and I’ve been reading Olivia‘s books for about a year and a half almost 2 years now and this is the first time that I’ve ever witnessed in this genre or even within her books African American story and even though I don’t mind reading whatever race is perfectly fine but to see your own race in a leading story is captivating The storyline was really good very catchy I couldn’t put the book down it was written very well I really love the happily ever after that Olivia provides in all of her books and this book really spoke to the culture that I was raised in it’s an easy read it’s easy to catch on to the storyline I just want to thank Olivia for bringing another cultural dynamic to her audience it meant a lot to me and I would love to see more I just love her books and I think that this was a really good read

Loved this OTT possessive alpha male romance!!
DeMarcus Elba aka No-bility is a rapper and he's also starting his own record label. Women have never really been on his radar, he's focused on his career and knows women can be his downfall. Then he sees Ayana Lockett at a bar and can't think of anything else but her, only she gets away before he finds out who she is. Then he sees her again at the new PR company he is looking to hire to help promote his new label. He is not planning on letting Ayana get away again, but can be convince her that it is more than a one-night stand he's after? This is a wonderful, steamy, hot read and I highly recommend it!

I was instantly sucked into this book and the characters came alive! A completely original storyline, unlike anything I have read before!
When I pick up a book by Olivia T. Turner I know to expect an alpha male who will stop at nothing to get the girl. I got that and so much more ! I was taken on a wild ride of insta love in the world of hip hop a new frontier for OTT. This is signature Turner OTT , quick, hot & HEA an awesome book I enjoyed and highly recommend!

Such a sweet, over the top, sexy read! Some readers said they were hesitant to read because of the cover. But don’t let that bombard you. Read this! Just like OTT’s other reads the hero is a possessive, sweet man with eyes only for his heroine. Ayana works in PR and DeMarus is an acclaimed rapper who is a client of her firm. As per usual, instant attraction, sparks fly and a HEA ensues. I loved it and was happy for the few epilogues to see where our lovely couple ended up. Read!

I LOVE THESE BOOKS
Every single one of Olivia T. Turner books are fabulous!! I love the over-the-top, alpha men and the ladies that love them! The sexy scenes are incredible and keep me wanting more. I love how the women make them better men too! This was the first (and maybe only) of her books that feature an African American cast of characters! I thought that was great too! Keep it up!!!! But maybe next time, the alpha man can be something other than a stereotypical rapper (or ball player, for that matter)! Loved the book though!!

Great read
First time reading from this author. This was definitely an insta story but I'm ok with those. Demarcus was very adamant about what he wanted. I do with there was more of a chase but it was short and sweet. I really appreciate the long-term epilouges , most epilouges are months are even sometimes 3 years out but we got months, then years, and lastly one that was over TWO DECADES.. I'd definitely be open to reading more from this author if the characters are like these two

Not sure how I feel about this book
I buy every book that OTT writes, and I'm never puzzled about what I think of the stories. This book is different. Technically it was well written, and I didn't notice any overt errors. The alpha male H was sexy as hell. The h was a strong willed and intelligent woman. I think the part that had me unsure was the Hip Hop reference. Not my generation and it was hard to relate. I did enjoy the love story very much.

Now, I have read all of OTT's books so far and loved every single one, but this one...she knocked out of the park!! Her best work yet!
DeMarcus is one possessive, obsessive alpha hero!! Like MAJOR!! Which I totally dig!!

Over the top for sure

This was my first book by this author, it won't be my last.
It's nice reading black/urban stories that aren't completely 'hood' or over the top megabazillionaires.
Though the rap star was rich, his part of the story wasn't primarily about how his money made him amazing. He seemed genuinely interested in loving her.

If you want a hot, fast pace read with some off the chart sexiness this book is for you. Olivia T Turner gives us her usual OTT alpha. Even his name is freaking hot! DeMarcus Elba. When he sees Ayana for the first time it's want, need, sex, Insta love and baby making!

"The Elbas" Rockstar Royalty!
This was a wonderful short read, very cute, I've read so many of her books and she always satisfies the readers. I like how she tried something different featuring a Rapper nice twist. I will continue to be a avid reader of hers cause she never disappoints, really loved how she brought this book together! Nice job Ms. Turner!!!
