Awwwww
This was a quick, sweet and hot read.
Just as all of Coco Millers books are.
Easton was a take charge kind of guy, which threw Zola for more than one loop in the time of their short engagement. Add on top of that the wonderful chemistry and perfect ending, i loved it.
I would recommend this book.
Happy reading!

I enjoyed the story immensely. I actually was able to relate to it on a personal level. Being a person with a disability, I can understand the frustration of medical bills various treatments that don’t work and chronic pain, just as Zola constantly experiences. I’ll have to admit that I started reading Bound To Gold first and was a little confused so I strongly recommend reading the books in order.
I loved Easton‘s unconditional love for Zola and I also love that it was hard for her to accept because that is real life for many of us. We meet someone afraid to fall in love because will they accept every part of us? I’m looking forward to reading Bound to Gold and bookstore being Duncan‘s story and I enjoyed his appearances in this novel I’m looking forward to his story. Thank you Miss Miller for writing a story that was such a comfort during many of my chronic pain days

Love at first sight

Bound To Steele is the first book in the new Bound To The Billionaires series by Coco Miller. It is an arranged/fake marriage story between Easton and Zola. If Zola has any type of luck it is bad luck all the way around. Her parents have died and she has no other family, she is broke and has a ton of medical bills. At a job interview she meets Easton. He is rich but is still somewhat controlled by his father and grandfather, well that is until he gets married. They are trying to set-up a marriage with a rich socialite but when he sees Zola he has other ideas as he knows she it the one for him.
This is a fast-paced sweet story with a nice story-line and a couple interesting characters. My one main complaint is that the book needs to go back through at least one more round of proofreading and editing. But otherwise it was a nice read.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This is a solid, fast pace, engaging page turner! The story line is well-developed, emotionally deep, engaging, funny, and well written. Likeable characters that are perfect for each other and have amazing off the charts chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

What A Serendipitous Encounter....

I enjoyed this sweet story despite its need for additional editing of how a woman who is far down on her luck and does not let it defeat her only to find love where and when she least expects it from a man who is being pressured to commit into a relationship that he was not really ready for in order to keep his legacy.

First off, there were a whole lot of typos and sometimes missing words. And often the writing would switch from present to past tense from one sentence to another.

Regarding the story itself, I like that the description was not quite accurate since it makes it seem like they get married first and he falls in love and tries to win her for real after when in reality all of that happens before they get married. But at the same time the whole thing went way too fast. I liked their immediate connection, however, it had no real depth to it. It was mostly physical attraction. Yes, Easton was waxing poetic about how kind and warm she is but they had only met three short times at that point. I know this is a very short book but I have read other short books with a less superficial romance before.

Moreover, the timeline was not quite clear, did the dinner with his parents and grandparents take place directly after the honeymoon or weeks later? Both was insinuated. And considering how chill the story and Easton were until then, things escalated very quickly and suddenly with his father and grandfather.
Plus, we never got to know Zola's age.

All in all it was not terrible since I did enjoy reading whenever I wasn't distracted by the multitude if errors. But it wasn't exactly good either, Zola and Easton ignited no sparks within me and will be ultimately forgettable. The added epilgue does not make it better.

I liked Easton's best friend Duncan, however, I'm not reading his book or the one after that, they don't sound that interesting to me.

2.75 stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Unlimited e-book. Marriage of convenience. Contrived angst. Short. Cute. Grammatical error overload. The hero, Easton Steele, has been the CEO of his family's construction conglomerate for years; but to continue in this role, he must marry by his 29th birthday within 6 months. He has three choices: marry a socialite of his parent's choosing, meet, fall in love and marry a woman of his choosing or forfeit ownership of the business. So, he runs an ad for an assistant in the hopes of finding a woman he wants and who is willing to marry him. The heroine, Zola Washington, a recent graduate of Harvard, has an enormous student debt balance and she was in an auto accident where she sustained severe injuries requiring several surgeries which has left her to suffer constant pain. So, Zola applies for the job with Steele Construction Industries and on her way to the interview, she and Easton meet and sparks fly for the both of them. Easton makes the marriage preposition, she accepts, then rejects and many chapters are spent with Zola seesawing and creating unnecessary drama. Eventually, all wrinkles are ironed out and Zola and Easton marry and get pregnant and live happily ever after.

2.5 stars: lots of typos, very short, Alpha billionaire jumps girl

If you can ignore typos, grammatical errors, other detail oversights, and sexual harassment work policy violations, you might enjoy this brief romance story between a white billionaire male and a black female who’s supposedly highly educated but drowning with medical bills. This is a quick, slam, bam, marry me, the end, kind of story.

The male lead has anger issues, a contrived animosity toward his father and grandfather, and is very caveman like in his treatment of everyone but his intern and mother. There are lots of eye-rolling, this is ridiculous, moments in the book that detract from the story. The female lead basically lets her hormones and financial situation determine her life choices. She comes across as stereotypical in ways that are likely offensive to culturally sensitive and astute readers. The sex scenes are graphic and lack intimacy and emotional punch.

I decided to rate this book with three and a half stars and I would recommend it. I collected my thoughts and rated it based on what I read and not for what I think it had the potential to be. At the end of the day, it’s meant to be a series of short and sweet romance novels. Which it fulfilled! The romance was fun to read and I think it’s important for representation in all forms. So base level romance novels where Black women are loved on and pampered? I’m here for it! And I’ll be reading the other books. The exciting part is this was only published 2 months ago! And the second in the series will be a month old tomorrow. Books like these are refreshing while reading longer, lengthier works that take more to consume.

This book is about Zola, who needs money to pay a mountain of medical bills and is interviewing for a job, and Easton, who must marry to keep his business and who decided an arranged marriage would be the best solution to his problem. When he meets Zola at her job interview he instantly knows she is the one he wants to marry. An engagement occurs within a short time later. I recommend this fast paced read which has memorable characters and an instalove romance.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns with emotions that makes you run wild. Zola
Has a lot of medical bills from suffering with pain. Easton needs to get married and knows about Zola, their chemistry was off the charts.

Cute and Steamy

Initial description of this book did not do it justice. It was so much cuter and so much Better than I expected. And the kicker is it was free!!! Zola and Easton both had a need.... He had to marry before he was 30.... She had enormous medical bills ...... When Zola came in for an interview Easton decided that she would make a great candidate for a bride. He was drawn to her and could see himself falling in love with her. They were so cute together!! I have read several of Ms. Miller's books......this one is now my favorite!

Easton meets Zola at the interview she attends at his company. He is fascinated by her and offers her a proposal that will benefit them both. Zola see saws between agreeing and not agreeing to the proposal until the last minute. Now the deed is done will it really solve all their problems or is it just the beginning truly of the end?

3 stars for the errors

The book was interesting. Nice story line. Insta love. There were a lot of errors and incomplete sentences. I liked Easton and Zola together. Zola had been through a lot by herself. His dad and grandfather were to old to be doing what they were doing. Greed will ruin you. Loved that Easton was able to get his mom and grandmother away from their husbands. Easton made Duncan and his mom happy.

Easton!!!

This was a story about a man who knew what he wanted and went after it full force ahead .Easton was drawn to Zola the minute he was her and he didn't allow nothing to get in his way of making her his wife .Zola had to battle old demons that tired to come along and destroy her happiness.I'm glad in the end Easton took care and loved the women that was near and dear to him .

Not bad

Nice story, if a little basic in parts, and more than a little unbelievable in others. The story is just pure fantasy - billionaire guy meets girl interviewing for a secretarial position at his company and decides his attraction to her is a good enough reason to propose marriage. I spent too much time correcting the grammatical errors. This one definitely needed a proofreader.

I found a new author. This is my first book that I have read by CoCo Miller and I loved it. My only complaint was that it was to short. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted more Zola and Easton. I wanted more character development with the other characters also. It’s a good thing when a readers only complaint is because they wanted more story. Until next time y’all happy reading.

This is a quick engaging read you will enjoy. Easton and Zola meet and are instantly attracted to each other. Easton has a family obligation to full fill to inherit his families company. Zola is experiencing hard times due to a life changing accident. Both decide on a plan that will be mutually beneficial for both. Funny moments and simmering heat, this book will keep you entertained.

4 Stars/ 2.5/3 🔥

This novella was a very well rounded story. I would put it in the billionaire, insta-love, BWWM , "Fake Relationship" category.

Since it was a novella and only took 1 hour to read, I won't say much. A billionaire in a bind gets more than he asks for is an apt description.

This is a great book that has some spice.

Fast paced story

This is a fast paced romance if you can call lust to love within a week a romance. Either way it was a decent read even if unrealistic. This book needs to be proofread and edited a little more.

Heart-wrenching Romantic Tale

Zola and Easton are from different worlds, ethnically and financially, but are instantly attracted to each other. Their feelings develops so quickly that It surpasses romantic. It's like they are soulmates who find each other at the perfect time.

Ok

In spit of title implication the concept of finding and marrying someone you love is emphasized. Her past medical problems don't stop his determination to marry her.
To many graphic sex scenes.
