How refreshing to finally read a book that made me laugh, cry and laugh again. I loved the fact there were six main characters. The story line was consistent and not too wordy. There was no jumping around which made it so much easier to stay engaged with the story. I never once got bored or lost in what was going on.
Lately, I was losing faith in finding really good books to read. So happy I picked this one. Might I add, this was not my first time to read Debbie Macomber's books....it had been a while.
Another book you can't put down by Debbie Macomber. First book is a little short on pages but not short on excitement. The second book was amazing. Not her normal romantic novel. In the beginning you would think that there when no romance. My advice, keep reading. I loved these two stories. Read the book. You will love it too.
The first book had my emotions all over. Enjoyed the story and the characters. The second book also very good. The stubbornness of Jack - I could have screamed. Again with the emotions. The settings of each story so descriptive and different.
Sweet love story between a disfigured mercenary and an architect. Despite his best efforts, Zane fell in love with Leslie, but ghosts from his past wouldn’t keep him home for long. Their love story took unexpected turns but their love for each other never stopped.
