This story is about the ORIGIN of something called the (Sixty-folio) Manuscript; an old scroll upon which a universal order was meant to be established, and which has a certain connection to (Elia)’s father.(Elia), a young boy in his twenties, lost his family mysteriously in Algeria after their manor house has been raided by the forces of the French colonization, and suddenly he wakes up in a different place, alone, and someone unknown starts talking to him by letters, designing his life in a certain way, and soon this man helps him come to the United kingdom where he finds many clues about that manuscript leading him to many places in the world and in history.(Elia) sees dreams and hears a voice, and follows what he hears and sees in his search for the origin of the knowledge in that manuscript until he knows everything about it, about the writer of the letters, and about who is.
A valuable book. I've never seen a story start like this before. Deep thoughts in a context that is out of the ordinary. There is an emphasis on the most important details apart from every mention of side events that usually have no effect in our lives. I like the reflections on life’s values and their contradictions, and I also like the work of the detective that distinguishes the personality of the protagonist, and by which he reveals to us facts that are known only by the few. It is a book that is well worth reading. Highly recommanded.
