So much good and valuable information in such a short book, truly remarkable.
- Do as much as you possibly can. Read all the books. Meet all the people. Love the opportunity. Call the extra call. Knock the extra door. Meet one more person. Never neglect, because if you do, you will not become successful or rich.
- People love those who take action. Society praises them. Affirmations on themselves will not make you successful. Be ambitious.
- Choose education over entertainment. Choose activity over laziness. Choose confidence over doubt.
- Take action directly. Don't wait. Begin the process. Otherwise, it may be too late.
- Change your mindset and attitude. Courage is paramount and valuable.
- Go to libraries to read. The ideas in the books are there even though the authors are dead. Listen to audiobooks and podcats. Then, talk about it and have discussions. Only 3 percent of American population have a library card. Reading is essential for those who want to rise above the ordinary. Learn from everything. Then go and try. Try your best.
- Meditate. Write down your goals and your thoughts.
Jim Rohn is classic. However, this book didn't go in-depth on many of the points. Use Jim's own words, this is "candy", doesn't supply much of substances. Good to have it around as a reminder, though. His other materials are much more interesting.
Not as motivational as I was expecting. Pretty bland and boring, always be hustling type vibe. What it's intending to do has been done better by others elsewhere.
