Claiming the Dentist

Rate this book
From the moment I caught his scent, I knew he was mine …
I never thought I’d meet my mate at the dentist’s office, but when I take my daughter to get her tooth pulled, he’s right there waiting. I recognize Jamie’s scent as soon as I walk in, and it’s making my inner wolf crazy. And when I see how great he is with my daughter, my heart melts. I need him to be mine.

We’re scorched by the heat of our chemistry, and I can’t get enough of the man. But when Jamie starts to pull away, I don’t know if I can keep the omega as my own.

Fate brought us together, but I need a man who is proud to call me and my daughter his own. Family is everything to me, but it’s only brought my omega heartache. Can we find a way to overcome the difference? Or will Jamie’s fears break both of our hearts?

I usually wouldn't review books written by ghostwriting farms (clearly, since this "author" publishes a full-length story every two weeks!!!!), but I was very tempted by that title! I couldn't resist.

As other people have pointed out, I sincerely hope that this "author" didn't steal the cover art from the artist and model as the cover on Goodreads has water marks on it. The Amazon cover doesn't anymore, so I'm hoping it was a quick-publish error.

First of all, I want to answer the question you all are clamoring to know: HOW ARE THE DENTAL SCENES!? Well, there is only one scene (apparently, this dentist doesn't ever work), and the technical content is basically garbage. Big let down.

The rest is yada yada yada, mpreg, fated mates, copy/paste content. Truly not horrible, but nothing to really remember. I won't be supporting this "author" anymore, especially since group author pen names just make me grumpy.

They say don't just a book by its cover, but am I allowed to when you can still see the fucking watermarks from Despositphoto all over it?

The "ST" on the guy's head is for "stealing."

Look, I don't know if Liam Kinglsey is a real person, the lazy approximation of a writer dreamed up by a ghost farm, or a collection of weasels in a trench coat, but if you don't pay for your cover, allow me to assume that either

a) you stole the book as well
b) a ghost farm created it, or
c) you have approached your craft in a way that tells me you don't care so why should I

and nope the fuck away.

Edit: Oop! I see the watermarked version has now vanished from Amazon, but you can still see it here: https://www.facebook.com/lizsilverwri...

I hope this means you paid the artist.

Still not interested in reading a book from a ghost farm, thanks.

Tuck is a single father to one very rambunctious little girl who seems to be prone to accidents which is how they meet Dr. Jamie — a dentist who Tuck is instantly drawn to. It isn’t until a night out at the bar that Tuck pursues Jamie but Jamie’s mother is hell bent on making sure they never become a thing. And, putting his daughter through that drama isn’t something Tuck wants...fated mates or not.

This one held a lot of family drama that was not entirely realistic and a bit exhausting but still a fun read nonetheless. If you’re into mpreg and fated mates you’d probably enjoy this!

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that the main characters spent time getting to know each other even though they were fated mates. And the storyline was very interesting.

Tucker Nielsen is a single alpha wolf shifter father who is bringing his six year old daughter Amelie up on his own after his omega partner Gareth disappeared when Amy was only three years old. Tuck became the best father he could be. He became very protective of his heart and his daughter. Then one day he was called by the school to come pick up his daughter who had an accident and cracked one of her teeth. She needed to see the dentist straight away.

Their regular dentist was away so they had to seethe other dentist in the practice. Dr Jamison Branson and there when they met, Tuck recognised that they were fated mates. Jamie knew there was something about Tuck that was drawing him to him, but wasn’t sure until he spoke with his friends Deck and Tripp and they both told him that Tuck was his fated mate.

There was a lot of negative energy and conflict from both Jamie’s mother and friend that they almost destroyed their relationship and danger towards Tuck and his family, along with burning down Tucks business all but destroyed their happiness, but once again true love and the fated mate link and good friends helped these two beautiful men to find their happily ever after together and their beautiful children.

I can’t wait to read the next story of Jamie’s best friend and Tuck’s best friend when they discover they are fated mates as well. I really look forward to reading their story. I loved reading this book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading these stories and love the steamy moments which you will find are plenty of.

1) Love the cover!
2) I think this is my favourite of the series so far, really enjoyed the plot and the characters.
Tuck and Jamie are a perfect match and I love the way they worked at being together whilst keeping everything normal with the outside world, mainly Tuck's six year old daughter, Amy, who is so freaking awesome, a real daddy's girl who loves dragons, climbing and anything not pink.
There is a good balance of fun, heat and drama for the two men but with the drama increasing right to the end of the book. Jamie's mother being the cause of a large part of that but the two men are stronger together than apart...... The family drama is intense. The woman has ideas he would have never even dreamed of and they need to trust in each other to get through intact.
Family and friends play a big part in this book. Tuck's family have been amazing for him when he was left as a single parent and the owner of Tuck It Bar and Grill, so loving and supportive which is a stark contrast to how Jamie's family has ended up. Both men have great best friends, really there for them when they need them but also offering up a lighter side of them as well.
I liked the last chapter of the book, from the POV of Jamie's best frienD, Easton. It leaves you wanting so much more for the next book.
Definitely a recommended read for me. I've enjoyed the series overall but this one had something a little bit extra whether it's the strong dose of drama or the adorable little girl that you fall instantly in love with.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

I don't normally like MPREG stories as I find them extremely hard to accept men/shifters can get pregnant. M/M stories are not some that I will go out of my way to read, even tho I have no aversion to them or the everyday world we live in. However, there was something about the description of this one that I knew I had to read, and I was not disappointed. I loved Tuck & Jamie. Tuck is a powerful Alpha, sexy, strong, & his softer side is presented, which makes you fall for him. Jamie is an omega dentist who is everything you expect of an omega-compassionate, determined, strong, and will stand up for what he wants when he has to. Tuck lost his prior lover & father of his daughter. He doesn't want to bring anyone in to their lives because he doesn't want to break her heart if it doesn't work out. However, the moment he meets Jamie he knows Jamie is his true & fated mate. Jamie isn't sure what to make of his intense attraction to Tuck. As they get closer to each other, Jamie's mother does everything she can to keep them apart. Jamie knows he has no choice but to break it off after Tuck's bar is set ablaze as a warning. After weeks apart, Tuck gets a call & rushes to be there for Jamie when he needs him the most.

I couldn't put this one down. The story shows all the emotions that go along with starting a new relationship. The hurdles they have to face just add to the story. Include the steamy scenes, and Liam has a hit in this one. Story ends with a HEA & the introduction of two of the characters who happen to be Tuck & Jamie's best friends to each other making me look forward to their story.

To be honest I will have a very hard time saying who I fell in love with more, Tucker or his gorgeous, precocious little girl, Amelie. Tuck is a single dad after Amelie's other dad couldn't handle the pressures of being a dad or the fact that he no long had 100% of Tuck's attention anymore. He has been going it alone and with the help of his brother and his parents he is doing a really good job of not only running his business but also being an amazing dad to Amelie. When there is a slight accident at school Amelie has to go to the dentist and their regular dentist is out of town so they book to go and see Dr Jamison Branson. Tuck realises pretty much immediately that Jamie is his fated mated but can see that Jamie didn't quite get the memo. Tuck convinces Jamie to go out with him despite the fact that Jamie knows, without a doubt, that his mom would lose her mind if she found out he was interested in someone who she believed wasn't "fitting" for their station in life. Jamie finally stands up to his mom and tells her that he is seeing Tuck and there is nothing she can do about it but when he realises exactly how far she is willing to go to get her way he makes the only decision he thinks is right under the circumstances. Will Jamie and Tuck be able to find their way back to each other and if so, what about Jamie's mom? Fantastic characters and a well-written and enchanting story line.

A dentist, a snob, and a good friend walk into a bar. What's the owner to do? Especially since the dentist is your fated mate!

What a great addition to the Blackwater Pack saga. Old friends are back. New ones appear. They drew me back into their lives. I became immersed in their story. There is angst, hidden strength, a mother's betrayal, immeasurable love, joy, loyal friends, and an adorable little girl. What's not to love!
An expected visit to his daughter's dentist has Tucker, owner of the Tuck It Bar, reeling. Her dentist is his fated mate! Jamie isn't sure what the attraction is between them, but it is almost overwhelming. As they get to know each other, the pull becomes too great to ignore. Even as Jamie's mother tries to wrench them apart, their love binds them tighter. Tuck will do whatever it takes to keep those he loves safe. It will take an act of violence to tear them away from each other until things are settled. Never fear, with the help loyal friends, and an unlikely ally, HEA will find them. You will love this book!
This is a continuation of the Blackwater Pack series. I totally recommend reading the previous books, in order. It's time well spent.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Tuck loves his daughter more than life itself. His omega partner them both and it left a deep pain in his heart. He’s got deep scars but he puts on a brave face for the sake of his daughter and family. When he has to take his daughter to the dentist to get her tooth pulled he’s hit with the force of meeting Jamie. His wolf stands at attention the minute he sees Jamie.

Jamie is so sick of doing everything his mother asks of him. He puts up with her setting him up on blinds dates with self-absorbed me from affluent families but he just can’t seem to say no to her. When he meets Tuck his wolf is drawn to him. But he knows nothing can come of it because his mother would never approve of Tuck.

But Tuck and Jamie just can’t seem to fight what fate has decided. They decide to explore their relationship and Jamie decides his mother won’t stop him from finally having the happiness he wants with Tuck.

I think this may be my favorite book in this series. I just couldn’t put down this book. Tuck and Jamie were perfect for each other and my favorite part of the story was Tuck’s relationship with his daughter. It was absolutely precious.

Beware of death bed promises. Jamie promised his Dad before he died that he would always look after his Mom and keep her "happy". Unfortunately, Jamie took this way too seriously and has let her run his life ever since. To say the woman is a snob, doesn't begin to tell how awful she is. Tucker owns the bar in Blackwater and when his daredevil daughter chips a tooth jumping off the jungle gym he takes her to see the dentist - none other than his fated mate Jamie. Can Jamie ever stand up to Mom? Can Tuck get over the abandonment by Amy's omega Gareth? It's a romance, so you know the answers but man is it wonderful to follow the path to get to the happily ever after. I adore this series. All the MC are wonderful, decent, loving people that I wish I knew for real and every book has at least one seriously dangerous villain. The villain in this one is too close to home and threatens the lives and livelihood of our couple. It takes a demonstration of the true power of an alpha to unlock the secret behind the evil and surprisingly enough redeem a character who seemed irredeemable. There is a great showdown and a wonderful happy ending with new additions to the Blackwater pack and a the beginning of a new romance.

It was a pleasure to read this enjoyable & somewhat suspenseful Mpreg shifter romance. This plot is well-written & entertaining, making sure that the reader’s attention is firmly kept. The characters continue to develop throughout the story-line to become emotional strong individuals who love each other although I was not too impressed with Jamie’s mother (Elizabeth) or Hannon’s attitude towards Jamie. There is some good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a male alpha wolf shifter (Tucker Nielson aka Tuck) takes his adorable daughter (Amelie aka Amy) to the dentist & discovers that the stand-in dentist is a male omega wolf shifter (Dr. Jamie Branson) then the attractions flare but a manipulative mother interferes, caring friends, mates, drama, intrigue, action, threats, danger, deceit, betrayal, family issues, judgmental attitudes, attempted bribery, devious plans, arson, disagreements, honesty, confrontations, determination, verbal conflict, ultimatums, obsession, insecurities, unease, heat issues, compulsion, heartache, anger, unexpected surprises, contentment, some steam, happiness & a well-deserved conclusion for this couple with a very interesting ending.

Love, Love, Love this story! Tuck and Jamie felt the mate pull once when they were in the same location before they met. When they met, Tuck had an idea what the pull meant. Jamie wasn't sure, but he was interested. Tuck had baggage, but he converted it into a small case he kept locked away. Jamie's baggage was a promise he made to his dying dad to 'keep his mom happy'. Everyone knows that can be difficult on a good day. But coupled with a woman who is a complete snob and emotionally detached, disaster waiting to happen! Hannon was an alpha who was in love with Jamie since high school. He refused to take no for an answer. Tuck was hesitant to get involved because of the impact on his heart and how any proble would affect his cherished daughter, Amy. Jamie's mom threw emotional roadblocks as often as she could. Jamie was stuck between his mom and Tuck. Will Jamie accept Tuck as his mate? Will Jamie's mom come between Jamie and Tuck? Can Hannon let go? There are fantastic twists and turns and a potential tragedy. Very nice story! Well done, Mr Kingsley! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

Insecurities abound in this Book #7 of the Blackwater Pack series.

Both the alpha Trent and the omega Jamie have heavy burdens to overcome. If it isn't snobbery,
interfering mothers, it is former partners causing enough heartache to sink the Titanic. The one
bright spot in each of these guys lives is the little angel 8YOA Amelia who starts the connection ball rolling by chipping a tooth that needs a dentist's touching abilities of relating to her but also stirring up feelings between these two men. Besides the emotional turmoil each of these Mpreg stories bring to the front I also get to indulge in the physical and emotional problems that MEN get to go through being PG. I don't think there is a woman who has always wanted to get the man in her life to experience what pregnancy does to a woman. With these books the shoe is on the other foot (figuratively) and can place any woman in a salaciously vindictive position. I received an ARC of this book from the LesCourt ARC team for my review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the seventh book in the Blackwater Pack series. In this book, Tuck is the single father of a daughter Amy, who is a tomboy and when she chipped a tooth, he took her to the new dentist, Jamie. Tuck knows right away Jamie is his fated mate, but Jamie doesn't seem to realize it. Tuck owns a bar and when Jamie comes in with his friends, Tuck knows it is time to talk to him. Jamie is from another town and grew up wealthy. Jamie's mother thinks he should be with Hannon, the son of her friend and someone from their class of people. Jamie hates his mother interfering with his life and doesn't want to be with Hannon. Jamie is drawn to Tuck, but knows his mother will never approve of him because he owns a bar. Tuck and Jamie want to be together, but Jamie knows they can never be more than a fling, but Tuck is determined to have more. I love this series. This was another great book, I liked Tuck and thought he was a great guy who just wanted to be happy and be loved. He was a great father and i think Amy was a great kid. Great one.

Claiming the dentist is unique compared to the other stories written by Liam Kingsley.

In this book, the Omega, Jamie, is a strong character, who is confident in himself and will stand up to those who are wanting to hurt those he loves. He has become my favorite character because of his strength.

In this story you meet Tuck, a strong Alpha and bar owner, from a wealthy prominent family, but from the looks of it you could not tell. Jamie is the town's dentist, whose mother is all about appearance and society.

As Jamie's mother only sees what is on the outside and is worried about herself. And will do anything to get what she wants. She doesn't care who she hurts, even if it's her son.

This story shows how when a person feels the love and support of another nothing can stand in the way.

When Tucker Nielson, a wolf shifter, has to take his 6-year-old daughter to the dentist with a chipped tooth, he wasn’t expecting to find his mate! Dr. Jamie Branson is an omega and the wonderful way he interacted with Tuck’s daughter reinforces Tuck’s feelings toward him.

However, Jamie’s mother has other plans and other choices for her son, and she is intent on keeping them apart. Tuck also remembers how he was hurt in the past and he is aware it’s not just him alone anymore – his daughter needs to be considered in this desire for a family. Will Tuck back off in fear of getting hurt again or of Amy getting hurt? Will Jamie’s mother sabotage their romance beyond repair? Or will they realize they have the sizzling chemistry and the love it takes to make a real family for themselves?

When Tuck's daughter chips a tooth while proving she is as good as any boy, and he has to take her to see the dentist, the single Dad bar owner has no idea that meeting this new dentist will change his life. He was hurt when Gareth left them - but now, something is happening that he never expected.
Jamie has been telling Hannon for years that they will never be together - despite his mother for reasons unknown being determined that they will be mates. When he meets Tuck, his mother is furious - and in an effort to get her own way, has Tuck's bar burnt dow. Will Tuck and Jamie survive the conniving of his mother and Hannon? Will Amy really have her perfect family around her? Loved it, and cant wait to read what is happening with Percy and Easton!!

This was a very satisfying story of a single parent Alpha finding his fated Omega mate. I like how the author brought these two wonderful characters together. It was great to see the open communication between the two. With all the conflict that they had going on, it was nice to see they were willing to bring it out in the open and hold nothing back. Tucker the lovable ,HOT and protective alpha was able to feel love again after being heartbroken from his ex. Jamie the beautiful, successful and sensitive omega was able to stand up to his overbearing and snobbish mother by taking a chance on love. Their love story was wonderful and I loved their HEA. The lead in with Easton and Percy was great....cant wait to read their story.

I loved this one! This was such a sweet story. I really enjoyed both characters. I was immediately invested in the story the moment I started the book. This was a second chance ag love and also a single dad romance. My heart broke at Tucks story and his interactions with his daughter were adorable. There was a little bit of angst in here but not much. More like parent drama than anything else. The ending was sweet but my only complaint was that wished there was some more showing of the characters in the epilogue. It was hard to get invested with their story since I didn't really feel connected to the charactere in any way like there wasn't much build up. Over all I enjoyed the story though.

This is the great story of Tucker and Jamie. Tucker is trying to get on with his life after his partner leaves him and their daughter. He concentrates on making his business a success and raising his daughter. His daughter is a little wild at times and after an incident, she requires a visit to the dentist. Jamie just moved to the area and is settling into this new town and his new job. He is surprised to feel an instant pull to the father of his next patient. Jamie is wondering if he can have just a taste and let him go because he knows his mother will never approve. But he can't even imagine the length his mother is willing to go to to have him obey her. The characters are guarded, strong and determined. The storyline is intriguing, suspenseful and full of passion. Great read!

So it turns out once you read one gay werewolf romance a plethora of nearly identical stories recommend themselves to you.

The front cover of this one was just too darn cheesy I had to see what delights it had in store.

It's really not that bad if you're into this sort of thing, it's just a bit formulaic (With the fated mates, short courtship, inevitablely they go into heat and the omega ends up pregnant. Then there's some sort of misunderstanding/mild danger/family drama that the couple must overcome to earn their special bite mark and finally become a happy family.)

It's cute. It's predictable. I think of it in much the same way a lot of females think about Jane Austen's stories: like the formulaic-ness of the courtship is kind of the point. Also I really like it when boys talk about their feelings, which these guys do a lot of.

I’m frightened of the dentist which is why I hesitated to read this book. Sad but true; but thankfully the scene at the dentist was over before I knew it lol. My hubby was laughing at my hesitance but my need to read the book was stronger than the ‘D’ word that I won’t mention again.

Jamie and Tuck had a sizzling connection; it was breathtaking watching these guys come together. Tuck’s daughter was absolutely sweet and adorable.

Hannon gave me the creeps and don’t even get me started on Jamie’s mother. She was a right piece of work and every time she opened her mouth, I wanted to smack her - repeatedly.

Fantastic story but the ending felt a bit rushed.

Tuck and Jamie are undeniably attracted to each other, their wolves want them closer, but past circumstances makes it wise to go slowly, especially since Tuck has his daughter to think consider.
There is so much to love about this book, the laughs, genuine connections, Jamie's nervous babble, Tuck's protective nature, adorable Amy, great friends, steamy sexy times, a bunch of happiness, and a forever love. Before they can have their satisfyingly sweet HEA, Tuck and Jamie have to endure a fair amount of drama, heartbreak, threats, doubts, danger, and a whole bunch of crazy. This story is well written, entertaining, and worth reading.

Tucker is an alpha wolf single dad his omega disappeared when their daughter was only 3 years old now Tucker has closed his heart off to love, Tucker gets a call from his daughters school saying that she has been in an accident and her tooth is broken so Tucker takes her straight to the dentist. Tucker’s normal dentist isn’t there so he goes to see a Dr Jamison an omega and as soon as Tucker gets his scent he knows that Jamison is his mate, Jamison feels an instant connection to Tucker but Jamison’s mother tries to get in their way and it ends up with Tucker’s bar being burnt down as a warning but the two of them are fated mates and that bond is a strong one. Another fantastic addition to this series I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Tuck is the owner of a bar and father to a 6-year-old tomboy. When he meets Jamie all the signs for a fated mate he had heard about are present, but Jamie pulls back. Coming from a well-off family with a pretentious mother Jamie has to be careful of who he dates, if he does not want to upset his mother. But then his mother wants him to mate with Hannon, her best friend's son, who acts more and more like a stalker.
The situation is tense and something will have to give.
A little bit of a new angle to the alpha/omega stories, but an interesting one. Adding Amy, Tuck's daughter into the mix was genius, as she provides the comical effects that lighten the mood.

This is another fascinating book in the Blackwater Pack series. This book is full of Mama drama, I feel for Jamie and what he has to deal with. I did find I couldn't put this book down as I wanted to find out what exactly was going on and if Tuck and Jamie could have their happily ever after. I love how Tuck protects his family which includes Jamie from the beginning. We should all be so lucky to have a strong alpha like that to love us.
I recommend this book and series and can't wait for more from Blackwater.

A great story that I really enjoyed especially with the great interpretation by the narrator. He did a great job with the characters and with the story itself. Jamie and Tucker are fated mates but that doesn't mean that it's all smooth sailing for them, especially with Jamie's mother! His mother is truly a stuck-up, snobby, controlling b**ch! There is quite a tangled web of deceit that weaves its way through the story and it's surprising the lengths some people will go to to keep others apart! A very well deserved HEA for both characters!! I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.
