✍️Dacă vrei sa ai un copil inteligent, spune-i povești.

Náučná, zábavná a zaujímavá knižka zároveň. 🙂

The intrigue continues in book 3 of this series. The team's challenge to take on world hunger is the background for other plot lines. Max continues to visit places Einstein visited and to find out more about herself. In the process, she discovers that time travel may be involved.
A new enemy attacks and continues the attempts to kidnap Max and Leo. She is demoted and a new team leader is chosen. This leads to betrayal and further intrigue. In the end, they win this round and expose The Corps leading council of seven.
Humor, mystery and enough action and suspense to hold middle grade readers. Looking forward to the next adventure.

I enjoy how they use Albert Einstein's quotes into the story for a learning experience.

It's a great book to encourage you to use your imagination, think and problem solve.

Chapter 30
Most teachers waste their time by asking questions that are intended to discover what a pupil does not know, whereas the true art of questioning is to discover what the pupil does know or is capable of knowing. Albert Einstein

My name is Max, and the Change Makers newest mission is to stop world hunger. That's kind of a big problem for a group of young geniuses to tackle. The biggest change this time is that Ms. Kaplan has put Hana in charge instead of me. I don't mind having someone else in charge, but it'll take some getting used to. I'm not sure why Ms. Kaplan doesn't like me, since she constantly reminds me of the change in leadership. The good thing is that we will visit Princeton where Albert Einstein once visited and worked on a time machine. I hope to learn more about my idol and maybe learn more about where I came from. Being an orphan, I always wonder about who my parents might have been. Of course, the Corp is still after me, and they've hired a vicious assassin to get me. I hope he won't interrupt the CMI's plans to finish our mission.

The book concludes the trilogy and answers many questions about Max. The series has been based in "reality" with the young geniuses doing improbable, but not impossible, things. However, this book introduces a bit of science fiction to explain past events. The book is a fun mix of dealing with world issues while dealing with the adventure of an evil organization trying to stop the CMI. Dr. Zimm has been leading the bad guys' efforts, and he's hinted that he knows Max from the time she was a baby. The mystery of her past has been a lingering mental conflict for Max and readers, but this book answers the question in an unexpected way. The CMI kids have worked well in the past, but this book introduces some conflict that goes beyond personalities. The most enjoyable character is an AI named Leo. He was taken from the Corp in the second book and reprogrammed by one of the CMI geniuses. He has all the abilities one might expect from a super robot, but his interactions with others come across in personal, yet robotic, sort of ways. He plays a major role in the plot of this book. Overall, this is an entertaining series that should appeal to lovers of science fiction, adventure, and helping the planet. I highly recommend you read this series, starting with the first book. Oh yeah, the group finds a way to end world hunger!

Considering that I'm not the intended audience of this series - take my review & opinions with a grain of salt. I will preface this review by saying that I take my enjoyment of 2/3 books published to date as a win and even though I didn't really like this...it wasn't a bad book. It just wasn't for me.

Overall, I enjoy listening to this series. It can be entertaining and I will continue the series if another book is published. I just didn't think that the conclusion to this mystery about Max's parents wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be.

Fenomenalna kontynuacja serii.

This is the first Max Einstein novel I have read. Though it might have been helpful to have some of the background information from the first books, I found I could still enjoy this adventure on its own.

Max is brilliant and funny, and her eclectic group of fellow kid-geniuses are a fun bunch. The story is fast-paced, and I enjoyed getting to know about Max's mysterious (and very cool) past. I also adore Leo the android.

I think the main reason I didn't love this one more is because I just read Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation a few weeks ago and the stories and heroines are VERY similar. I kept comparing the two (which isn't always fair), and the Charlie Thorne story was just much more rich and complex.

Definitely recommending to my kids who love action and adventure.

Another thrilling adventure for Max Einstein and her gang of geniuses. This time they are putting their heads together to solve the world hunger crisis. But, the bad guys are hot on their heels, trying to kidnap Max and get her to work for them.

There are road chases in West Virginia, an attempted kidnapping, and more "encounters" with Albert Einstein.

If you want to chuckle or cheer the geniuses, this book is for you. Best of all children of all ages won't be able to stop reading the trilogy.

An intriguing and WONDERFUL story.

I absolutely adored this book and I think that this is an example of of the finest art of literature. This book is composed of education while also being fictional. I adore all the interesting facts in the book as well as the mysteries and plot twists. This book is really exceptional and I cannot wait for this incredible author to write another on. Congratulations you have excelled.

Worthy but relatively engaging adventure for late KS2 / early KS3 kids. Based on a group of child geniuses (a bit of a kids fiction trope, why can't we have some average protagonists?) this time attempting to solve world hunger, while Max tries to discover her origins. There's a clear educational focus with bits of chemistry, geometry, sociology, economics etc woven into the narrative - mostly fairly seamlessly.

Max and the CMI team return to solve the problem of world hunger, but as they brainstorm this challenge little does Max realize that answers to her past will be revealed. As she tries to avoid Dr. Zimm, and members of the Corp, Max will face uncertainties and issues with members of CMI as well. Fast paced, and plot twists throughout.

Max Einstein is one of my nephew's favorite series of books. He loved the mystery, time travel, and intrigue involved with Max. This book is a winner. Thanks to Goodreads First Reads for my copy. Thanks also to James Patterson for sharing his talents with kids, too.

This book is a page-turner just like the last two books in the series, it is amazing to see how intelligent Max and the fact that she’s a girl and this is a children’s book inspires young girls and boys all over the world. As usual James Patterson has written a great book once again.

Read this as a read-aloud with my 9 yr old, who still lets me read to him at bedtime. This installment gave us some answers and conclusions that we really have been waiting for and I’m excited to see where the series goes next.
