Seven Times a Prisoner

Rate this book
This is one of the most bizzare tales I have ever heard. If it were not for the fact that it was true, and the family really existed, you'd fast forget it.Seven Times A Prisoner is a tale about seven sisters. It's a fascinating tale of suffering, not to one child, but to seven. Seven girls forbidden to venture outside thier front gate, their only companions the cats they so dearly loved. This haunting, harrowing and sometimes errie tale tells of seven lives lost. The death of a family.Seven sisters imprisoned in their lifetime only to find final release a few hundred yards down the road in the local churchyard.

A brilliant book especially good read for anyone from the isle of Wight as I could relate to the area it is about.Left me wanting to find out more about this family and the house.

It's a strange story even for that time.perhaps if they had been poor and unable to support themselves some body would have helped them.
