To be fair, it should be 4.5 stars - a lot of things happen too fast in this series for it to be really believable. But I really like the atmosphere and the art, and this is a case where I'm feeling generous. It's definitely a series worth reading (it starts with "The Match Seller" and there is going to be another volume with a conclusion), so the five stars are also meant as a recommendation.
Uh yeah. That scene in Match Seller 0 where Hanashiro sucks on the woman's thumb? Priceless.
Thinking that the end of the book was the end of the series, I was a little let down that the 'lost letter' portion of the story was unresolved. Hanashiro had some important revelations this time around, his arc only gets sweeter.
After reading KS's afterword it seems there's another volume coming! I hope SuBLime releases it soon.
