Upon waking up on his 18th birthday, Draco Malfoy noticed three small letters on his wrist: HJG. That same day, Hermione Granger also woke up with letters on hers: DLM. "What does it mean?" she asked quietly. "It means… we're soulmates."
I loved the main concept of the story however, I think it could have been written a bit better. Either way, I will recommend it in the future to everyone.
Review is for GREEN LIGHT by Serenemusafir on AO3. Goodreads won’t let me add it to my shelf but I need to vent and to add it to my reading goal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!
“You’re the sun Granger. And I’ve already fallen.”
“‘What if I’m tired of trying to change the world? What if-I have nothing left for it?’ ‘Then I’ll make a new one just for you’”
Ouch. The ending was brutal. In fact the whole thing was brutal. But damn. It was good. I cried. I giggled. I obv swoooooned. It was just very good. Very well written and a great story. The author has a wonderful mind and I think she did a very good job with her story. The Draco in this seemed spot on and so did hermione. Ginny and Luna weren’t how I expected them but that’s ok. I didn’t mind. Anyways I loved this. It was long but I loved it all.
really cute! i loved the relationship between luna and draco in this story! i also thought this was a really unique plot that i thought was really interesting. unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of conflict throughout the story. i expected hermoinie to object or even try to fight the soulmate thing. i expected a lot more resistance throughout the entire story. i also thought it was strange how it kept getting brought up that hermoinie and draco should’ve been ravenclaws. they’re NOT. that’s not a viable position to work in the story. everyone probably has some traits from each house, but the one they align with the most is the house they’re sorted into.

Aww, this one was really well done. The soul bonded surprise for the two and the growth they saw in this one was nicely written.
Yes there was almost no angst but what a great read when you still want your favourite ship with light fluff and super sweetness, especially if that helps ease your stresses. I really love Astoria in this one too. She can be written with such care and support by many FF writers Hufflepuffmommy didn't disappoint. She was a delight to read.
Thank you so much for writing this one Hufflepuffmommy. Like I mentioned above, well done :)
It was boring quite frankly. The premise with the initials and soulmate thing was fun, but it led to nowhere. They found out and then just started a slow, but stable, relationship. There was no drama or anything, basically. Yes, there was the conflict about Lucius, but other than that I felt as if not a lot happened. Regarding healing, there was the thing with the patronus, but otherwise they did not really deal with any drama from the war, either.
I do think that the other relationships were interesting. I would not have guessed the love potion drama with Ginny, and it was the first time I read Pansy/Seamus and Harry/Astoria.
A but to fluffy for my taste and there was a lot of things that could have bee explored more, like Draco and Luna's friendship (that I adore by the way).
