Daring Daddy

Rate this book
She’s the spoiled princess living a life of reckless fun. . .
Or that’s what she wants people to believe. Because for years Eden has been hiding her pain from the people who love her the most. All of her true emotions and feelings are tucked away in a safe place where no-one can reach them.
Except for him. . .
Because when Zeke touches her heat fills her. Longing. Want. If there is one thing she wants in this life, its him.
But she can’t have him. She can’t be what he needs. She’s not strong. Or whole. She definitely cannot be his Little.
And he would never be her Dom, her Daddy, her love.

In Daddy’s Lost Love,i found a community that was special.
Where the men are more than caring for their girls, they give them something extra.
They give their girls a safe haven for their Littles come out to play.
They are the Daddies they need.
To feel loved,to feel cherished,ánd to get punished when they are up to mischief.
So when i heard i had a chance to get the ARC for Daring Daddy,i held up my hand, waving for attention....Can i? Please?
Getting my hands on that beauty was such a treat!
And to know all i had to do in return, was give an honest review?
I can do that!

This is Eden’s story, and she’s a tough nut to crack.
She’s been in a wheelchair since the tender age of 10 after a car accident which cost her her parents lives.
She keeps those she cares about at a distance, acts uncaring and reckless.
But Zeke isn’t fooled by her demeanor,by her façade.
He sees the Little that’s hiding inside, afraid to come out and get hurt.
When she pulls a stunt that puts her in danger, all bets are off.
Even if she tried to help a girl in trouble, she went there alone, and in Zeke’s eyes, that is unacceptable.
Finding out the danger is greater than he thought, makes him decide to take her and go into hiding while his friends deal with everything.
Because keeping Eden safe is his priority.

Will he get her to trust him enough to let her Little out?
To allow Daddy to take care of her?
And will their friends find the threat in time?

I enjoyed the sweet,the fun,ánd i enjoyed the suspense.
I think it’s safe to say,i loved this Daddy and his Little!

The couple: Zeke and Eden

Romance genre: DD/lg
Series: Montana Daddies
Length: 236 pages

Plot: Eden seemingly lives the life of a spoiled princess despite being in a wheelchair (from an accident when she was nine), but Zeke is in love with her anyways. Eden continues to push him away until she finds herself in danger while trying to help a friend. Zeke comes to her rescue and then decides to keep her isolated with him for a while so they can get to know each other as friends, lovers, and Daddy/Little Girl.

Character development: I wasn't sure what to make of Eden from the earlier books. She seemed nice enough, but a little reckless. But Zeke sees her as a challenge, a reward, and the final outcome. He's determined to make Eden see her own worth and the potential of a relationship between them. It would be easy going into this book to think that the focus would be on Eden's injury, but it really wasn't, and I appreciated that. Zeke does check in with her to make sure that what he's doing is okay, but there is no fixating on it. Furthermore, the problems that Eden has are not exactly related to her injury, but rather to the trauma from the accident itself. She holds a lot of guilt from that accident, and that has colored her entire adult life so far.

I loved the intro to the Iron Shadows (Motorcycle Daddy) here, meeting Reyes, Duke, and the MC at large.

Next book in the series: Warrior Daddy

In this edition of the series set on Sanctuary Ranch, we finally get Eden's story. Before I get to my review, let me advise readers of two things. First, while it's not necessary to read the others to enjoy this one, it does help since several characters reappear. Second, for those who are fond of consensual age play, it's apparent ("Daddy," dolls); for those who aren't, it's not too heavy (no diapers, for example).

I always liked Eden: she has a backbone, a self-reliance, and an edge to her that the other, more conventional "littles" don't have. Injured as a child in an accident that killed her parents, she has used a wheelchair ever since. While I wish that Ms. Roberts had NOT gone down the too-tired, too-abled road of the "broken" character with a disability who just wants to be "normal," I did appreciate that Eden was strong and that Zeke appreciated that strength. It's rare to see a character in this genre who isn't young, white, beautiful, and abled, and I'm glad to see at least some diversity here.

On the whole, I did like Zeke: his concern, devotion, and patience; that he gains her trust before attempting to dominate her (most books in this genre skip that crucial step); and that he never uses her disability against her. But he really was stalkerish (he had no right, for instance, to put trackers on Eden's car and phone without her permission, and in her place I would have been furious).

Clint's gesture at .

In terms of writing, Ms. Roberts is very repetitious (we get several of Eden's internal monologues bemoaning how "damaged" she is and, thus, not good enough for Zeke; rarely did they vary or give us different information). Her writing is also disjointed in that sentences don't always flow logically (she'll often change topics after one sentence and then go back to it a few sentences later; thus, I had to re-read some sections).

This books sets the scene for a spin-off series featuring the biker club, Iron Shadows. Should Reyes be in it, he'll have to redeem himself A LOT for ?

4 stars. There's no question that you root for this MC's HEA and that you enjoy watching their relationship develop in this quasi-cabin romance. And this sentiment from Zeke was worth an extra star alone:
“Eden, none of us are normal. Do you know how much of society would deem my desires and needs as wrong? Fuck normal. So, we’re not normal, who says that would ever make us happy? Who said that’s something we should strive to be? We should be who we are. What makes us content. Do what fulfills us."

Note: I adhere to the ratings system as laid out by Goodreads: 2 stars = it was okay; 3 stars = liked it; 4 stars = really liked it; 5 stars = it was amazing. I gave this book 4 stars because I liked the MC and the author's meditation on just how problematic conceptions of "normalcy" are, but I thought the writing was very repetitious. I do not think that every book I read is "amazing;" further, I think that it cheapens the rating system to always assign 4 or 5 stars. If a book really earns the 4 or 5 stars (and I realize that this is, to some degree, subjective), I'll give them -- but it certainly shouldn't apply to every book. YMMV, and everyone should enjoy/rate these books as they wish.

Additional Note: I did not receive this book as an ARC; I'm not another author who hosts or is hosted by other authors in this genre on our websites; and I'm not friends with the authors IRL, "friends" on this site, or friends on any social media site. (less)

4.3 stars.
Originally I skipped over this book when it came out.
I just wasn’t all that interested in Eden’s story after seeing her all over the ranch in the other books.
But I’m so glad I decided to start the series over and finally read this one.
Eden and Zeke are honestly too cute.
I think Eden might be the biggest brat of the all the Littles I’ve read about from Miss Roberts.
She’s got some deep hurt twisting her up and making her push everyone away.
But Zeke has his own hurts and he sees right through her.
He’s exactly what she needs to start healing, to finally let herself live a fulfilling life with a Daddy of her own.

Zeke is so protective and possessive of her. And once Eden lets him in, she’s just as possessive.

This was so sweet and heartwarming.
Plus sexy and satisfying.

I’m glad I didn’t skip over it a second time. This was such an enjoyable read.

Ohhhh man, I absolutely loved this story. Eden has been in every single Montana Daddies book up until this point so I always wondered what would happen with her. She’s Clint and Kent’s brother and she’s in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the knees down from a car accident that also killed both of her parents when she was 10.

Eden is a super ornery 25 year old who has never been with a man whatsoever. Zeke is 33, lives at Sanctuary Ranch and works with Kent at JSI. He was mentioned in a few of the previous books as well. He was always arguing with Eden... but it was mostly because she always does crazy shit and he wants to protect her.

I absolutely loved their story. Eden is pretty messed up from her accident and doesn’t want to let anyone get too close. She also blames herself for the accident and feels like she doesn’t deserve happiness and also doesn’t feel Zeke, or even anyone really, would want her because of her disabilities. Zeke also has a messed up past. They are both broken together. Ugh, I just love it. ❤️

Zeke did all he could to reassure Eden he wasn’t going to leave her even when she tried over and over to push him away. He was determined to make her his and be her Daddy. Everything about their relationship and coming together made me super happy. I felt Zeke’s love for Eden and ahhhhh... I just can’t gush enough about how it made me feel!!

There was some intro to other characters and even another series that I know is out already - the MC Daddies series. Duke and Jacob Reyes were mentioned and while I’m not super into MC romances, I’m kinda intrigued about this one. I might just have to pick that one up after I’m finished with the Montana Daddies. 😍

And Macca’s book is next!! I’ve been excited to read about him finding his Little.

This is probably my fave in this series so far. I just connected with Eden’s character so much. Definitely worth the read.

4.5⭐️

DARING DADDY is the sixth book in the Montana Daddies series. Though each will stand on its own, for maximum enjoyment read the full series and in the order of release.

Eden is hiding from everyone behind a mask of hurt and competence. She knows she wants to be Zeke’s little, but doesn’t believe she deserves him or anyone. After all, she has been in a wheelchair since she was ten years old. Who would want that?

I loved Eden; I get her. I may not be in a wheelchair, but I understand that feelings of utter anxiety and insecurity. She hides hers behind a front of being the princess of Sanctuary Ranch and doing as she pleases. I loved Zeke even more because he sees past her masks and has the patience to bring her to the relationship they both want.

Zeke’s patience as he brings out Eden’s little seems endless, his love boundless. That is what makes him the poster of a near perfect DD. The only problem I had was the “trackers” he put in her phone and purses without her knowledge.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I loveee Eden and I'm so happy we finally got her story 🫶🏻 She deserves her HEA so much 🥺 and even though it took her some time to admit it, Zeke is the man for that!

Why 3 stars then? While I appreciate the disability rep greatly, there were some scenes that made me really uncomfortable! Zeke just takes Eden out of her wheelchair to carry her, without her permission. They talk kinda away from the group and she has no way to leave. He tells her "well if something had happened, you could've just called out" and that is so icky. There's another scene where the two of them are in a cabin and he tells her brother "yeah she's safe her, she can't leave anyway :)" implying that it's because she's in a wheelchair. Kidnapp-y much?

I'd love to see more disability rep in romance but please only well-thought rep!

Full review to come soon!

Quick note: I freakin loved this! I've been waiting to get my hands on Eden and Zeke's story since that very first tension filled and snarky intro to the rocky relationship these two have and finally getting their story did not disappoint.

It's way different then previous books because these two are so different but it's no less heartfelt, healing or smexy then the rest of the Montana Daddies are. Seriously, I recommend the series so much. It's hard to find good DD/lg books that have compassionate characters, engaging plot and all the yummy kink a little could ask for :) Layla Roberts definitely knows her stuff!

Breaking Down Her Walls

I have been so curious and fascinated by Eden since book one in the series, I'm thrilled to have finally gotten her story and learned about her past.

Zeke was exactly the Daddy she needed and his dedication and adoration for Eden was so heart melting.

I enjoyed the bit of suspense/intrigue that was wrapped into their story it kept things extra interesting and pushed this "just" past being a romance story.

This is the 5th book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Eden has been hiding herself behind the walls she has built up and not showing anyone who she really is. Zeke know what Eden is doing and plans on tearing down those walls. Will Eden discover that she is worthy of being Zeke’s little? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and emotion. Amazing chemistry and steam. I really liked it.

The characters were great. I liked how Zeke acknowledged how his obsession wasn't healthy, it made me enjoy his character more. It's sad that I could relate with Eden's feelings of guilt and I'm glad she didn't just get over them.it made me wanna shake her into seeing sense but also myself because I am like that!
Related to the ddlg stuff, I thought it was more talking then doing though. Zeke would talk a lot about what he would do and I was for it! But I felt like what we got didn't actually compare with what he said but that's just me. This book felt like a cult of ddlg and I don't know how to feel about it😂

Hated it!!!!

I wanted to like it cuz I love Zeke but I hated it. I dislike the character of Eden so much that I couldn’t even finish it. And any other book she is in, I won’t be reading either. Zeke deserved someone better. Don’t even care about her reasons or excuses. How anyone would be willing to put up with that selfish bi-atch us beyond me!

This book SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED

There were a lot of issues with it. To begin with Eden, the main female protagonist is plain obnoxious. She's a spoiled brat, doing nothing all day, playing the victim and leeching of her brothers who do nothing to make her change her ways, even getting a "daddy" doesn't change this, the book ends with her being the same useless plot device ever. Nothing in her showed her as a survivor or a fighter, just a weak character existing for the sake of... having a little in a book.

Her thoughts, decisions, opinions are constantly changing and contradicting each other, and I can understand if that's the result of her trauma, but to be honest nothing supported that idea, it was just loophole after loophole and a constant fight to keep the story going for as long as possible. Eden's only redeeming quality as a female lead is that she has a unique narrating voice, quite different from previous girls but... BUT once she becomes Zeke's little submissive girl she became another cookie cutter character.

Zeke, our main male problem, I mean character is a psychopathic, macho alpha, wanna be tough bodyguard boy. There are several times where Zeke completely disregarded Eden's autonomy and consent, a guy right out of a Criminal Minds episode. He openly manipulates her, tries to groom her, isolate her from the people who could keep her safe while having obvious sexual intentions towards her.

The novella is plagued by weird descriptions that make no sense, rushed sex scenes placed for the sake of... sex. Tough guy moments that get lost in monologues, rambling, rough mafia men who turned out to be useless shells without a shred of previous investigation by the author, lack luster dialogues, tension that goes nowhere, Eden acting like an idiot bubble head, a convoluted, unbelievable, ridiculous plot, a TOTAL lack of research of any kind by the author and her work team. Lots of contradictions and loopholes. AND WHAT'S WITH THE AUTHORS FIXATION ON BOWEL MOVEMENTS?! This is the 6th book in the series and all littles and all Daddies go through the "go potty" thing as if littles were all boring, repetitive monoliths.

I could go on and on and on ranting about how stupid this book was and that, THAT says it all. I can't believe I even finished it. Some moments of a Dd/lg dynamic worked well, were funny and entertaining but most of it was awkward, cheap and unnecessarily sexual. Not even the villain was interesting and the whole "finale" that arc got glossed over like the plot device it was.

If I could give it a -1 I totally would. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Hated it. Won't ever read again even if PAID.

I'm back, again. I am glad I found myself itching to read the next book despite frustrations in the previous installments because this might be my favorite of the series thus far. This one felt different which I appreciated because all the ones before it started to blur together since the H's and h's all felt the same and had a similar plot. Also wanted to point out that I really like that the heroines thus far are around their mid-20s instead of teenagers like I've seen a lot of books in the DDLG genre have.

Eden is a breath of fresh air. She is more headstrong and different from our other leading ladies. Even though she has no experience in DDLG, she does have more knowledge about it than previous h's did. I liked the representation and emphasis that wheelchair users can participate in a BDSM relationship just like any other consenting adult can. She does have inner monologues of insecurity that get to be too much and many after a while for me. I guess I am tired of the "broken women" trope especially when it's used in conjunction with characters who have some sort of disability. Even though she made some really stupid decisions that made me want to scream I did end up liking her.

I liked Zeke. He did some things that actually fixed some of the problems I had with the previous H's. For instance, he wanted Eden to trust him before jumping into what many would consider an intense relationship like ddlg. He did push her a little too much sometimes IMO but he did back off when he realized she was getting overwhelmed. He also took into account her limitations and how he needed to be careful like asking if she could be spanked without causing some sort of serious damage. If I remember correctly he also stated he wouldn't punish her for things she did before agreeing to the relationship so I liked that because I found that to be a flaw of the previous installments. I don't think the Heroes of the previous installments should have punished the heroines for breaking a "rule" before they even knew the Hero or agreed to follow his rules. He would also check in with her periodically during play which I liked. There was one scene, in particular, I really liked . Zeke had a few problematic things going for him like bugging Eden's purse and car without her knowing as well as following her but after reading all that I've read in this series thus far that didn't bother me that much especially when she was getting herself into such dangerous situations.

I personally did not think the MC gang and threat of Eden's life plot was needed but I am guessing this was a way to introduce the author's spin-off series. Overall, I enjoyed this book and as I said, it might be my favorite of the bunch thus far.

I don’t even have the vocabulary to express how much I LOVED this book, but I’ll try.

Zeke. Jonas. That’s the man. The way he handled Eden’s disability with that perfect combo of firm Daddy energy and deep emotional care? My soul left my body. His line—“talking bad about my girl is completely unacceptable”—had me wiping tears and fanning myself at the same time 😭🔥.

Laylah wrote Eden with so much vulnerability and complexity. That push-pull between wanting to feel strong and also needing someone to set those boundaries? She NAILED it. The whole dynamic between them felt raw, healing, and hotter than hellfire. I highlighted half this book like it was scripture.

And don’t get me started on the “spank-spank-let’s-unpack-your-trauma” scene. Therapeutic discipline?? Yes ma’am. I’ve never rooted for a girl to get spanked and cuddled more in my life. The way Zeke said, “We’ve got a lifetime to fix that self-esteem,” had me on the FLOOR.

If you ever wondered what it would look like for a Daddy Dom to love you through your disability, wrap his arms around your insecurities, and make you feel safe enough to be both wild and soft? This is the blueprint.

Daring Daddy is the fifth book in the Montana Daddies series. It can be read alone, but is a lot richer reading the previous books. Eden and Zeke have been circling each other for years now, but Zeke knows that she’s the one for him. He sees sides of her that others don’t, and knows he’s strong enough to keep her safe and happy. But will he be able to love all sides of Eden and keep her safe when she jumps right into danger?

Oh my goodness, this book is so sweet with a little bit of angst, a touch of danger, and so much love! Eden and Zeke stole my heart and I loved their journey. Always keeping herself apart from her brothers and their significant others, and having an air of mystery around her, I’ve been curious about Eden since she was first introduced in this series! I love that she has a Little side, I love that she felt safe enough with Zeke to let him in, and my heart went out to her with what she felt like was a darkness inside of herself. Zeke was perfect for her, possessive, protective, all alpha Daddy material, but I loved so much that he listened to her, and only wanted to show Eden how loved and valued she truly was. My heart just melted with Zeke’s love that shined fiercely for Eden! There’s some questions that are answered, some danger and intrigue, and a whole lot of love and connection! One of my favorite aspects of Ms. Roberts’ writing is how much she focuses on the connection between the characters, and this series and this book are a perfect escape!

This is book 5 in the Montana Daddies series. Why am I telling you this? Well, if you're like me...you're doing this whole series wrong. This is my first introduction to the author and the series. Naturally, I'm reading backwards in the series. Although, you can basically fill in the blanks and not be completely lost. However, the other characters make you want to know more about their backgrounds.

Eden and Zeke. Zeke and Eden! Wow! What a couple. There's a lot of push and pull between Eden and Zeke. Well, we find that Eden is hardened and built an emotional wall around her feelings and heart. It's up to Daddy Dom, aka Zeke, to break down that wall and make Eden understand that she belongs to him and only him. Eden has a lot to work through since tragedy struck and she's in a wheelchair now. Fortunately, Zeke is also broken and can completely relate to Eden. It takes a broken person to know another broken person.

If you're easily triggered, this book is probably not for you. However, I appreciated that the author didn't gloss over the very real problems that Eden was experiencing and kept hidden. It wasn't going to be an overnight solution and I'm grateful the author didn't make it an instant solvable fix. Life doesn't work like that when you're beset with tragedy.

I'm going to read the other books since I've started this backwards. However, I do look forward to reading more about Reyes, Zander, and Duke. Sounds like an interesting group of guys!!

Daring Daddy is the fifth book in the Montana Daddies novella collection by Laylah Roberts. It takes place immediately following the special Christmas short the author wrote for Bear and Ellie's wedding.

Zeke is a Daddy dom, but he is also interested in BDSM so there are a few more elements on that lifestyle that emerge in this book, such as restraints and a violet wand. And of course the normal Daddy/lg fun of spanking and Little time.

Eden is severely repressed, emotionally. She experienced trauma as a pre-teen and continues to blame herself for her parent's deaths, and feel a burden to her family. She has spent her entire adulthood repressing her Little side and is extremely reluctant to let her out, even when surrounded by other Littles and their daddies.

Eden is also partially paralyzed. She uses a wheelchair to get around. Daring Daddy is the first romance novel that I can remember reading where the heroine is in a wheel chair, a very interesting dynamic to the DD/lg action.

This short novel takes place with the couple almost completely in isolation with each other, so don't expect to find familiar characters interacting with Zeke or Eden. The author does introduce a couple of new people who will feature in a new series she is writing in 2020, based in the same area, but not connected to the Montana Daddies books.

This is a quick, smutty read for anyone interested in daddy and Littles kink.

So this was a free ARC copy from the author and booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this book and I really enjoyed it from the first page to the last page. Once I started reading I just couldn't stop til I finished, because I had to see how it all ended! It has a great storyline and great characters to read about to, plus it's so sizzling hot.I really like reading this authors books because I enjoy reading them, and I look forward to seeing more from this author in the future!
This is Edens story, and she's a tough nut to cracks She's been in a wheelchair since the tender age of 10 after a car accident which cost her, her parents lives. She keeps those she cares about at a distance, acts uncaring and reckless. But Zeke isn't fooled by her demeanor, by her facade. He sees the little that's hiding inside, afraid to come out and get hurt. When she pulls a stunt that puts her in danger, all bets are off.Even if she tried to help a girl in trouble, she went there alone, and in Zeke's eyes, thats unacceptable. Finding out the danger is greater than he thought, makes him decide to take her and go into hiding while his friends deal with everything. Because of keeping Eden safe is his priority.
If you want more then go get the full story, its so worth it. ENJOY

Zeke and Eden is probably my least favorite I guess. It just was a lot of boring for me. I wasn't a huge fan of Eden.

This is a general review of Laylah's ddlg fics: (1) The shorter the book the better it is. This one was too long so it gets boring. (2) All of Laylah's books lack sex. They're all more story driven. In her books, you'll be lucky if you get one sexual encounter. There's a lot of teasing, but not much of the actual act. There's also always the lead up to a** play, but never happens. So if you read her fics for sexy times - you'll be disappointed. (3) every single female in her books have a habit of saying their thoughts out loud and then getting embarrassed about it. I'm on like the 15th book and reading about 15 women that are shocked when they blurt out something they were thinking is getting a little old. (4) In every book there's a scene where the male will ask her to go pee and it's a big deal about being embarrassed. Again, after the 15th book I'm tired of reading the same thing. (5) almost all of the girls read ddlg fics, yet when they meet the man they're shocked that he suggests it. They're all fantasizing over the same thing so why not just go with it?
That being said - I like all of her stories just about. I've read all of the MC Daddies series and I'm actually on book 7 in this series. They're good.

Loved the care and emotional details in the story of a disabled woman navigating a relationship. It’s nice when the hero and heroine are perfect in their own way - not the perfect people that bombard us on tv, in books and magazines, and in movies.
As the princess of Sanctuary, Eden has everyone wrapped around her finger but she keeps them all at arms length. She is afraid to let anyone get close to her, for fear she will lose them. Only one man has been able to break through her defenses, no matter how hard she tries to make him leave her alone. They are able to heal their jagged broken pieces by coming together. This is a sweet story with emotional edges of a man who wants to be everything, including her daddy, to Eden. Dealing with the trauma of the past is painful, but sometimes you have to become the little girl again to heal the woman for the future.

Eden and Zeke
I have been waiting for their story since the very beginning of the series, and it did not disappoint! I absolutely love both characters, and watching their journey unfold was everything I had hoped for.
Eden has carried the weight of guilt and helplessness since she was ten years old—the sole survivor of the crash that claimed her parents' lives. Feeling like a burden her brothers didn’t need, she struggled with deep-rooted feelings of unworthiness. As a result, she constantly put herself in danger, always prioritizing others while neglecting her own well-being.
Zeke, on the other hand, has been watching from the sidelines for far too long. From the moment he met Eden, he knew she was special, knew she was .. his, but he never felt like he had the right to step in. However, after witnessing her risk her life one too many times, he finally reaches his breaking point—no more. When Zeke steps in, emotions ignite, and long-buried feelings come to the surface, forcing them both to confront what they’ve been denying for so long.
I loved watching their journey as they navigated their new dynamic as a couple. Their love story was intense, emotional, and deeply satisfying. This was a story worth the wait!

I had a feeling that Eden’s story would steal the spotlight and I was right. Zeke had his eyes on Clint and Kent’s baby sister Eden. Eden knew she was a little but tried to suppress it. Well Zeke certainly pulled it right out of her and I’m glad they have each other. I’m not going to say this was my favorite in the series because every time I read another I think 💭 now that one was my favorite 😂. I think Macca’s story may be next, it was kind of hinted in the Christmas special but also in this book, Zander is keeping Keira locked away even though the big threat was handled so idk who is next guess it’s time to see!!!

I am not a fan of this particular type of relationship (there was always a slight “ick” factor) but something about Ms. Roberts’ writing draws me in. The first book that I read of hers was ok; the plot grabbed me but the relationship was “meh”. But as her writing has developed, she has focused more on the relationships and the deep seated needs they fulfill and I am loving her stories because of that. Zeke and Eden’s story was more complex because of her childhood and the trauma and consequences that surrounded it. Eden was such a strong person, feisty and full of life; yet, Zeke looks past her “public” face, sees clearly what she is hiding and with a gentle and loving hand, gives her what she needs. I loved this story and am so looking forward to the new series that she will be starting in May featuring some of the characters from the Iron Shadow MC!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Do you enjoy a good age play story? Then your in for a treat with Daring Daddy by
Laylah Roberts. My first impressions was that this book going was to be was just
another romance but in fact it was so much more.It was a story of two people with
damage past who managed to find peace with each other.

Eden had hidden her pain and built a wall around her heart. She was consumed
with self doubt. Her secrets and guilt buried deep .Zeke will give her his guidance.
His rules and boundaries. His love and tenderness .He will penetrate her layers
and let her little out.

I enjoyed how the readers see the vulnerable sides of both Eden and Zeke as they
face their demons together. The plot kept me on my toes with elements of danger,
despair, intrigue, mild discipline and above all this was a healthy relationship between
two consenting adults.

From the very beginning of this series Eden has had a special place in my heart. Her struggles, the pain she tried to hide, and her strong independence streak have enchanted me. So, I was thrilled when she finally got her own story. I'm also thrilled to say it was everything I hoped it would be. It brought me to tears, more than once, and the ending melted my heart.

Eden and Zeke have some serious chemistry. He's the only man that's strong enough to take her on and cherish her the way she deserves. They are both broken, both afraid to love, both hiding who they are, and both deserving in finally finding happiness.

This story will heat out your blood and get your pulse racing in more ways then one. There is a strong, action-packed story line, tons of serious sexiness, a lot of tenderness, and sassy characters that you can't help but fall in love with. I devoured this one in one sitting and I'm eagerly waiting for the next installment in this passionate series

I think this was one of the better stories in this series.

The suspense was very good, and wrapped up very nicely. And we finally get to understand Eden and all her emotions. I could never figure out why she never got close to the other women/Littles on the ranch, or who she was running off to hang out with, or anything really important about her. This story gives us all that and more. The way she and Zeke were at each other all the time in the beginning, I expected more conflict but all it took was Eden opening up to him once, and he latched on to her and didn't let go. A true alpha Dom. I'm glad the the way the climax went down didn't make him doubt himself permanently. I've never heard of a spinal injury that effected from the knees down? Is that a real thing? Wish we could've seen the scene when Zeke sat her brothers down for 'the talk' about Eden though. I was waiting for that. Sad. ^~^ Oh well, on to the next book.....

Eden is the spoiled princess doted on by her two brothers and living a life of reckless fun - but actually, she has hidden her pain from everyone keeping her true emotions and pain hidden deep down. But when Zeke touches her heat fills her making her want him as her Daddy, her Dom and her love - but it's very going to happen as she is not strong enough.

I loved this story with the determination that Zeke had to finally convince and push her in such a way that she would accept her Little side and see that he was all she would ever need. It was great the way that he did his best to get her to see that she was not at fault for her accident, that she deserved love and that she deserved to be happy with him just as he deserved to be happy with her. I loved the raw emotions that they both showed and that they were able to give each other the strength that was needed. Contains mature content of a BDSM nature in the DDLT lifestyle.
