Okay...
So the book started out interesting, except the blurb is misleading and she isn't actually suspected of kidnapping him and considering the bride ended up taking their honeymoon with her lover it doesn't seem like she even cared that he took off. No one at the wedding even knows who he left with or that he and Bella even met until months later so its seriously misleading.
The overall story was just a little eh for me. I mean as far as what's shown on the page their relationship is entirely based on sex. There aren't enough nonsexual scenes shown between these characters to show anything else. It's not that it's a bad story it's that while I'm not against a spicy sex scene that's not the part of a romance story that interests me. I want to see the chemistry and the feeling better characters develop and sex isn't what makes that happen. I want to see these characters face their families. I want to see Bella finally realize her family is toxic and walk away from them for good. All the things that would really make this story great for me weren't shown in this book. Some of them were summarily told about in the epilogue but that's not the same thing. So while it was okay it wasn't anything I'd read twice.

What happens when you are at your wedding and you overhear your bride to be talking to her friends about how she doesn’t love you. That she is marrying you for your money? You walk away. That’s what you do. And that is what Rhett does. But then he meets his ex’s little sister. Who is nothing at all like anyone in her family. This is a good book! Totally interesting concept and kept me entertained until The End. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.

Lackluster
This book could have been great but there were too many ridiculous arguments that I could not get with. My biggest issue though was I didn't care for Bella, the heroine. She was kind of a loser. She was so busy making her parents miserable that instead of doing her own thing and being successful and showing them up. She chose to fail at everything, tattoo her entire body and end up answering phones at a tattoo parlor. I think she could have used some therapy. Rhett on the other hand was a rich, nice guy who on my opinion could use a bit more alpha.

Too long
In my opinion this would have been better if it was half the length. It was too long and drawn out just to get to where we Ll knew it would go. I'm all for a strong, independent female character but Bella quickly became annoying to me with all of the back and forth. My family hates me, no they love me. I'm a black sheep but I cant go against them. You have money (which she already knew about) so I cant give you a chance. How dare you try to give me a better life. All for it to come down to ok I guess were good together and it could work. That's pretty much what I got from this 3 hour read.

Love on the Lam
There is probably an APB out for Bella Berns and wanted posters of her tatoo covered self all over town. Crime? She helped Rhett Smith escape the duplicitous web woven by her older, beautiful, blonde cheating future trophy wife, sister Sarah. Of course, the wanted poster declares “kidnapped,” but the truth is that while Bella did provide the idea of escape, the getaway vehicle —a neon colored rental—and the route, she did not kidnap the groom. The angel in black and tatts

WOW Lindsey... this was just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! It flowed well, and it was hard to put down (just ask my husband and kids... "Are you STILL reading that?" Uuuhhh..... YEAH!) There is so much I want to share about this, because I really did LOVE it so much. But I also don't want to spoil it TOO much for anyone wanting to read it - which I implore everyone to do!
This story had me on the edge of my seat for some time there... While I was really hoping for a HEA, I just didn't know whether that was going to eventuate or not.
Rhett (great name) is a (HOT) self-made billionaire who has worked really hard to get where he is. He is engaged to be married to Sarah, who is basically using him for his money and any societal benefits that come with that - and her parents support and actually encourage this (rubbish people as far as I'm concerned!).
Rhett overhears Sarah talking about him just before their wedding ceremony. He (cleverly) decides that he just can’t go through with it. He feels sick about it, quite understandably. Enter Bella, the black sheep sister of Sarah’s – and perhaps Rhett’s saviour on the day. They leave the church, get drunk, etc, to escape what would have been a terrible mistake for Rhett…. Or did he?
Their journey is full of ups and downs, and not all in bed ;) Can they get over the obstacles they face, the way they feel, the way their families may react? Will Rhett and Bella end up with a HEA together? Readers will have to find out for themselves…
There are MANY things I loved about this book. Some of the writing was really descriptive, and gave me a really good vision of what was happening. For instance, I will NEVER think of vanilla as just vanilla again…. “Not just vanilla, it was rocky road with bananas, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and butterscotch topping.” Now, that sounds SWEET!
I cannot WAIT to see what Lindsey has up her sleeve next!

We are first introduced to ****, a billionaire, and given some background before his upcoming wedding to his long term girlfriend of 7 years. Right before the wedding is to start, he heads down to the bride’s dressing room to give her an extravagant necklace. Unfortunately for ****, he hears his “beloved” fiancée telling her sister that she’s only marrying him for his money, and that he has a tiny dick and she is so glad that she’s been able to keep her true love hidden from him all this time.
**** is so blindsided by this revelation, he staggers away literally throwing up and emotionally broken. Another woman has heard and witnessed the episode, so she leads him away to another room away from the “scene of the crime”. Slowly *** realizes that this tattooed and dressed in black woman is younger sister of his now former fiancée that was always referred to as the “black sheep “. **** offers him an escape from the church. After a quick liquor store run, she takes **** back to her motel to drown all sorrows. You can assume the results for pity drinking, but for each of them it is the best sex ever. Yet the next morning, **** overloads his behind, by asking if **** was faking it. His reasoning is that the former fiancée indicated a lack Of performance in the bedroom., so it must be true. You can conclude the reaction he gets.
What’s going to happen? **** is totally through with **** (even if it was the best sex ever), after all this was her sister’s fiancée. ***** can’t get over how he missed that his performance in bed was lacking., but he can’t get the idea out of his mind that maybe she is what he’s been looking for as a partner.
I am giving this offering from Lindsey Hart 4 1/2 stars - ****+. The only reason I am reluctant to give five stars is that I cannot wrap my mind about a man in a 7 year relationship not knowing that his partner is faking orgasms. Other than my issue with this, I truly enjoyed this book.

Absolutely loved this book
At the start of the book we get introduced to Rhett who tells his story from when he was in high school to how he is a billionaire.
Then we read that he is at church and is about to marry to his fiancée after Seven years he has a necklace that he was going to give her and her door was ajar and he over heard her say that she is only marrying him for his money and he has a small dick and that she is seeing another man behind his back.he staggers away and throws up but didn’t know that he had company behind him.
Bella was know as the black sheep of the family because she was different from her sisters.black hair and tattoos.
She followed Rhett and gets him out of the church in her car go to a shop buys some whiskey and goes back to her hotel room gets drunk and one thing lead to another where they have sex.but the next morning Rhett says things that he shouldn’t and thought that Bella was just like her sister.
Bella gets angry and locked herself in the bathroom and tells Rhett to leave which he does.After Rhett leaves he realises that was the best sex that he had and he could not get Bella out of her mind.So he hurts her down finds out where she works to apologise what was said and if could take her out to dinner.while there he gets a tattoo of his own.
Bella keeps telling him that they will not work as a couple because he is her sisters ex but he is persistent .
The chemistry between them is hot and the sex scenes are steamy while reading the book you get to know the characters better and there povs though out the book.it will also make you laugh and take you on adventure.
I really enjoyed this book but you have to read it to find out what happens.i really recommend this book.
This is the ninth book in the The Alphalicious Billionaires series which is a stand-alone and can be read in any order.

On what should have been the happiest day of my life has turned into a GPS recalculation when I'm kidnapped (?) from the crime scene of my heartbreak. The cherry on the top of this mud pie... my kidnapper is my fiancee's goth sister! It's amazing life has a way of re-directing us from what we think we want and guides us to what we need. Rhett was in desperate need to have his orderly life shaken up a bit but who would have thought the shaking would come from his fiancee' admitting minutes before our wedding that she's been bangin' someone else and using him for his money!
In the lowest moment of his life Rhett finds himself receiving mercy and aid from the black sheep of his fiancée's family. The kindness and empathy that she showed him in his time of need was so very necessary and yet kind of weird when he realizes she's wearing black to his wedding and tatted from head to toe. Although he was devastated Rhett is not blind and Rhett is challenged to take stock of what he really wants in life and what truly makes him happy. Bella is the wild card... she is the polar opposite of her siblings and carries the wounds of being ignored for being different. With parents and siblings that place more value on money, power and connections with the right people Bella is more comfortable just being herself and connecting with people on a very real level... whether they have money or not. The connection between Rhett and Bella is steamy hot and there's no denying there is a connection... dare they step outside of their comfort zones to make a connection that could possibly lead to more??? Take a chance on Bella and Rhett from the getaway to their awakening of their issues that can lead them to wholeness...

This story is fantastic! Full of great characters and sass, it was an absolute joy to read! Rhett is about to marry Sarah after seven years of dating. When he goes to the church basement to give her a necklace he bought for her he overhears her say she is only marrying him for his money and that she is sleeping with someone else. This sends him off into the basement of the church where he finds himself getting sick. Enter Bella. She's Sarah's little sister and the black sheep of the family. She offers him comfort as she too heard what her sister said about him and she offers him a getaway ride. He takes her up on her offer and the two end up in her hotel room drinking whiskey and ending up in each other's arms. She's convinced it can't happen again, especially after he says some things he shouldn't and really doesn't mean. She heads home to Detroit and he tracks her down at the tattoo shop where she works. The two start seeing each other but she continues to pull away. They come back together and soon are seeing each other every weekend. The weekend she is planning to go to him, she finds out just how rich he is, thinks about what people will say about her and pushes him away for good. He lets her go and it breaks his heart. He is absolutely miserable until he gets a voicemail from Rick, the guy that did his tattoo. Rick tells him how miserable Bella is, how she was scared and if he wants her than he should come and fight for her. And he does. He shows up at the shop, pours his heart out and she agrees to take the risk with him. A year later, all is well and the two are planning to get married.

Leaving to the little sister to save the day! Oh how I loved this - here is another Alphalicious Billionaires book where even the wealthy struggle to find the right one. This story is about Rhett and Bella. Rhett is about to marry Sarah, the woman he has spoiled with love and luxury for seven years only to find out by that we was not her love nor great in bed particularly because of his members size. This is what took him down, although hearing that your soon to be wife has been having an affair with someone named Bob is too much for him. This story has you intrigued from the beginning, it is a page turner and it does not disappoint. Sarah has a little sister, Bella, who is actually the black sheep of the family as she does not believe in being a trophy wife. Bella notices that Rhett is overhearing the conversation that the bride is having with her little clan, and when she notices him running away from there, she follows him. She not only follows him but rescues him by taking him away from it all. Well you can imagine where the story goes from here, there is a lot of mistrust from Rhett as his ego has been shot, but does Bella work her magic to reinforce to him the abilities he has and that there is nothing wrong with his size.

I really enjoyed reading how the main characters, Rhett and Bella, met each other and fought for what they wanted. When they meet for the first time, it is under horrible circumstances. He just heard his fiancee talking about how she has been cheating on him and the size of his package; on his wedding day. She sees him leaving and becomes his support. She knows that she should walk away. She is already the black sheep of her family (some of it because of the way her family treats her and some because she tries to irritate them) and the sister of his fiancee.
When they leave the church, they get drunk in her hotel room and one thing leads to another. They both know they should stay away from each other, but they are drawn to each other like magnets. They get into an argument the next morning and he leaves. He makes a grand gesture because he doesn't want it to end the way it did.
He never tries to hide how she makes him feel or how he feels about her. She, on the other hand, is scared and pushes him away all the time. When she finds out how much money he has, she uses that as a way to push him away again. Even though they are miserable without each other, she won't make the first move.
There was so much emotion in this book. Happiness, sadness, teasing and hope. I absolutely fell for Rhett. I can't wait to read the next book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

This really is a book of opposties. Not only are the H/h complete opposites, but the "typical" male/female roles of romance stories were reversed. We usually see the bad biker boy with his tough exterior and all his tattoos and the softer good girl wanting to know what a walk on the wild side would be like. In "My Ex's Little Sister", Lindsey Hart has reversed the roles and has done it beautifully! Rhett is so straight-laced he often refers to himself as needing to hand in his man card. He doesn't drink, has never had casual sex, and uses old fashioned terms like, "folks". Bella, on the other hand, is covered in tattoos, has plugs in her ears, and swears like a son of a gun. And... Rhett thinks she's perfect! That makes for a refreshing change of pace.
Hart did a great job of describing every scene in the story - almost like she was a fly on the wall watching it all play out. *The opening scene, with Rhett and Bella in the basement of the church...I could actually smell the dank musty air that she so vividly described! The book has quite a lot of sex in it - almost too much. I personally didn't think it was needed as much as it was used - Hart's writing itself let us see the emotional connection and chemistry between Rhett and Bella. However, this is a story that I would recommend!

Once again Lindsey Hart has brought to her audience a love story that takes you through the refiners fire before the glorious ending filled with everything that’s good and wholesome. Plus lots of steaming hot moments that will leave you flustered and reaching for your own fulfilment.
Rhett is devastated when he overheard his fiancé telling her best friend that she never loved him and was only there for his money and she was having an affair with another man, at the church just moments before they are to be married, the real cruncher was that she didn’t even enjoy having sex with him. Blindly he walks off and is lost under the church until he starts throwing up in the hallway. He is suddenly no longer alone. A beautiful girl is there sympathising with him.
Bella is angry with how her sister treated Rhett. She helps him escape from the church and takes him to her motel room and gets him drunk. They end up heating up the sheets and they end up arguing with Rhett leaving. But he speaks her out in a stalkerish way. What follows is highly entertaining and you won’t be able to put the book down until you read they lived happily ever after. But you won’t read that, but they will have a great life together.

Rhett overhears his fiancé talking about cheating on him and how small his equipment supposedly was. He was upset at hearing this especially on their wedding day and ended up outside getting sick. Bella was coming to check up on her sister when she saw Rhett and thought he was doing some cute groom thing and hung back until she saw his reaction. Then she followed him out and offer to help him out. Soon they were on the road leaving everything behind. Bella is the black sheep of her family so she's not expected to do the normal thing. When they stop and start drinking one thing leads to another and they end up sleeping together. The next morning Rhett says the wrong thing and it causes a misunderstanding between him and Bella. He doesn't want things to end with Bella but he leaves so he can fix his mess of a life first. Will Bella give him a second chance? What will their families think of them being together?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Rhett has just found out the most devastating thing right before his nuptials, something so awful that it causes him to flee from the church with Bella, his ex-fiancé's sister. Things just keep taking weird turns for the both of them as they not only fight their feelings for each other but also try to keep the walls up around their hearts. The two of them together are like chaos and magic came together and formed a connection. But will Bella be strong enough to see it through? Will Rhett want to be with Bella after all is said and done?
I really enjoyed this book, it was a fun give and take. If you are interested in a more erotica type romance then this would be the book to look for if not then please don't try to read it as it is explicit. I thought it was great imagery, in all aspects especially the tattoos, since I am a fan. I also thought it was a great twist of fate to make the girl that practically saves him in the basement of the church be the black sheep sister that he has never met before. I also enjoyed the unmistakable chemistry between these two characters. who are well rounded and, while mildly messed up, extremely likable and somewhat familiar.

Rhett & Bella, are the least likely match as they are 2 broken people. Rhett leaves his fiancee, Sarah, at the church when he overhears she doesn't love him. He is saved by her sister, Bella & she whisks him as far as possible from the church. Everything about these two is so wrong on so many levels, including being a rebound so quickly. Bella sees Rhett as a kind & caring guy but the fact he would have been her brother-in-law moments ago & finding out he's a billionaire does hold her back from running into his warm embrace & be consumed by his instant attraction towards her. Bella believes a billionaire searches for a trophy wife, thinking he'll want to change her to fit to his expectations of a partner. Rhett sees her as a natural, a blunt person not mincing with words; beautiful inside & out, loving her unconditionally. He loves how she brings out the laughter & the life back into him. Rhett big day. Getting married! Has a gift to give the bride before she comes down the isle. Upon coming to the door of the bride he hears her talking about him and his little friend. How she has another man to take care of her needs. Its all about the money for her. Humiliated, embarrassed and devastated he realize he is not alone when he hear this news. Heart broken he realized the woman that heard it all to is now his ex fiancee sister, the tattoo woman in black. Bella helps him leave there. They stop to get some liquor and on to her hotel room. Downing your sorrows in liquor only leads to one thing sex. They sleep together and his insecurities are front and center the morning after. Wondering if she felt the same as her sister did. Sister was a gold digger. Bella heart of gold. What an exciting story!!!! Two hearts finding each other when one was broken by another. This is a must have in your book library. Love your books!!!

First time reader. Was not disappointed at all. Rhett was due to get married when he over heard his future was as the most hurtful things. She was cheating on him. He found a place in the church to pretty much hide & get sick all at the same time Bella the sister to the bride followed him. She felt bad for him knowing how her sister & her family actually was. She herself never fit in. She took Rhett away from the church. From that moment on, he realized that what he really wanted was a girl like Bella. She was free spirited, did things her way, he liked that about her. It took her longer to realize he was the one for her but inthe end, they ended up together & happy because they both found what they were looking for. Neither one cared that he was in love with his ex's sister or a she was marrying her sisters ex. Because her sisters loss was her gain & her future husband.

I absolutely loved this book. Rhett is such a great guy and bless his heart for being so naive. Unfortunately having a lot of money is a two edge sword. One people only want you for it and two they don’t want anything to do with you because you have it. Bella the black sheep of her family definitely has been hurt. And I would say most of it from her family cuz if they would’ve accepted her the rest could have been a little different. But some guys are just a**es and treat women like crap. Being scared is a normal feeling when you want someone for more than sex. Sometimes you really have to fight for what you want and forget what other people are gonna say. It’s about making you happy not everyone else. Live for your happiness.

I absolutely loved this book’s characters, plot and storyline! My Ex’s Little Sister by Lindsey Hart is the ninth installment in her Alphalicious Billionaire’s series which focuses on Rhett, wealthy software mogul who on his wedding day overhears his bride confessing to her bridesmaids she is marrying him only for his money and has a boyfriend as well, and Bella Burns, younger sister of the bride and black sheep of her family who helps Rhett escape out of the church before the ceremony and stays with him to console him. This is just the start of the relationship between Rhett and Bella. I highly recommend this well written and amazing book with quirky but lovable characters and a hilarious plot with a storyline of diametrically opposite individuals who find a way to romance and true love!

The storyline was sublime. The characters of Bella and Rhett are so lovable, I just wanted to pinch them. She’s the tattooed little sister of Rhett’s fiancée. He’s a billionaire tech businessman who overhears his future bride say she doesn’t really love him and he’s a dud at sex on their wedding day. Bella helps him escape the wedding just in time. When liquor helps them lower there inhibitions and they wind up having a incredible sex. When Rhett finds he cannot think of anything else so he pursues her with gusto. There’s oh so sweet romance, hot sex and funny banter between Bella and Rhet that will have you sighing, fanning yourself and laughing your head off. Lindsey Hart, as a writer, you rock this book!

Rhett is about to marry the woman he loves, or so he thought. When he finds out about his fiancé, Sarah, he decides that he is going to not go through with the wedding. Bella, the sister of the bride, finds Rhett after she notices him in shock over what happened. Rhett and Bella spend the day together after what happened. Two weeks later, Rhett decides to go and find Bella. She is on his mind and he will do what he can to try and see her. Bella, doesn’t do relationships, but she finds Rhett cute and charming. Rhett doesn’t normally go for girls like Bella which makes him even more interested. Bella and Rhett are definitely opposites but in a cute way. This story is funny, witty and Bella is just adorable.

Okay, setting aside the fact that this book is part of the Alphalicious Billionaires though the hero was faaaar from alpha, it was a pretty good read.
I found Rhett & Bella's story quite intriguing, as they navigated the not-so-conventional way they met and then fell for each other. They are total opposites, yet I couldn't help root for them, even when obstacles kept popping up. Also, the fact that he wasn't "alpha" didn't make me rate the book lower; I rather enjoyed the role reversal.
Bella was more blunt and direct, while Rhett was more the polite, nice guy. I liked their banter, though. And I rather enjoyed the epilogue.

A unique storyline. It was a little unorthodox for me but the author made it unpredictable which made it interesting and exciting. Rhett overheard his bride-to-be telling her bridesmaids just minutes before they were to be married, that she was only marrying him for his money and that she had a honey on the side. He felt like he had been kicked by a horse. This was when he met Bella, the younger sister of his fiancee. She was the polar opposite of Rhett but there was a real connection there. Shy Rhett and bold Bella. I loved the way they communicated, their banter was never boring. I recommend My Ex's Little Sister by Lindsey Hart.
