So this is what we've been waiting for. Small town crime story, with ever so slight Tree-based magic, and a lot of gratuitous violence.

What a disappointment.

I don't really remember the beginning of this story... but I still enjoyed this.
Trees is a weird series that doesn't really explain the monoliths. (Or did I miss it...?)
I'll keep reading anything by Ellis.

The police lady (I can’t remember her name) wasn’t playing with these people. She was definitely not afraid to fire her gun. Some violent pages in this one. The ending with the black flowers had me a little lost. Definitely time to pull out my two Previous Trees trades and read those. Looking forward to it.

Bueno... Pues un micro "True Detective" con el aporte sci-fi de este universo... Si vienes de atracón de "Night Country", hasta puede que lo agradezcas.
