Charpentier, al igual que Fulcanelli pero con distinto enfoque, es una referencia obligada del hermetismo de las sociedades secretas medievales y de sus vínculos con las construcciones románicas y góticas. Más que brindar respuestas, nos expone preguntas inquietantes y datos asombrosos que justifican el velo de misterio que aún cubre a esta milicia de la iglesia. Me encantó.

a later edit on the book, a review i did not intend initially 'cause there was not much to say. but given some of my latest discoveries in a research on the old testament, i would like to emphasize it like this: there s much more evidence found officially, by Hebrew archaeologists in 'Mesopotamia', on the existence of the Nephilims!!! (incredible by the way) than charpentier put in his book 'to unveil' :)))) the Templers. reaaally... whilst the nephellims date back aprox.5000 yrs and the chevaliers 700 yrs ....it s a good synthesis (it s more like socio study) but not as good to be glorified as being the most ..wahatever.. book on the secret order. not too many secrets explained, few evidence. though templers were always concerned to hide, there must have been leaks. i have the feeling the author knows a lot but just throws us bones... he just does not give complete meaning and contexts. it s a book about mysteries, full of mysteries... yeah :)
