Books by Alastair Brown:
- Army of One: Introducing Joe Beck - Payback: A Short Joe Beck Thriller - Easy Money: A Joe Beck Thriller
A good fast paced read. I had previously read the first book in this series, ‘An Army of One’ and already had a good insight into the main character, Joe Beck. I enjoyed this book and nothing was lost with it being a short story. My next book will be ‘Easy Money’, which is the third in the series. Well done to the author Alistair Brown. A well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Never read a series with so much action and violence. Dude! What are you thinking when you write this stuff. Joe is a BMF for sure. But killing kids with bats set me back in my chair! It's fictional but I'm sure that people do that stuff somewhere in the US. Read the series quickly, couldn't put it down.
Another woman in need, Joe taking act with deadly results. Bikers this time misspelling drugs. Situation cleaned up with the bad guys in jail or in the ground.
This is the first book I have read from this author and I liked it. There is a lot of story packed into a short book. It is fast paced with plenty of action. I didn’t like it enough to read the series.

Well, I'm really liking Joe Beck! This was really short, and a lot happened in these few pages. I will keep reading this series, and look forward to the third one in this series.
