I enjoyed reading "Win the Relationship, Not the Deal." The points made by Casey hit home in what helps people be successful not only in sales, but in all relationships. I really liked the exercises to make you think about what you read. I think that goes a long way to adopt any kind of a strategy or a new point of view. There were many times I was nodding my head thinking, “yeah, what he said!” This was a quick and very pertinent read for anyone who wants to continue to work on growing relationships.
Win the Relationship, Not the Deal is a great read for anyone in a leadership or sales position. Casey does a great job of providing real-world examples to support his recommendations on how to be more successful in business by cultivating deep relationships with clients and prospects. Many of the concepts he discusses are simple yet not easy to consistently execute. Casey outlines exactly what it takes to stay consistent and rise to the top. This book will set a strong foundation for someone new to sales and will also be a great reminder to seasoned sellers on the importance of relationships in the selling process. His activities are thought-provoking and require true self-awareness and vulnerability in order to accurately complete. As a former college athlete, I love his stories and references to sports. So much of what it takes to be successful in business can be learned through athletics. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book if you want to accelerate your sales career.

It didn't offer anything new for a seasoned Recruiter. But it would be a great read for somebody in their first to third year in the business of recruiting / sales.
This would be great for someone new in sales! I’ve been in the staffing business for a very long time, so it wasn’t as impactful for me. My team will really enjoy it though!
