Psychic P.I. Piper Ashwell has worked her fair share of strange cases. But she’s never had a convicted criminal want to hire her before.
Levi O’Neil doesn’t claim to be an innocent man, but he does insist he wasn’t working alone. Only he won’t name his accomplice.
Piper will have to uncover the truth about a murder case that was closed five years ago, and with the real killer still on the loose, digging around could make Piper the next target.
Fans of Joanne Fluke and Victoria Laurie will enjoy this psychic cozy mystery series.
Kelly Hashway fully admits to being one of the most accident-prone people on the planet, but that didn’t stop her from jumping out of an airplane at ten thousand feet one Halloween. Maybe it was growing up reading R.L. Stine’s Fear Street books that instilled a love of all things scary and a desire to live in a world filled with supernatural creatures, but she spends her days writing speculative fiction for young adults, middle graders, and young children. Kelly is also USA Today bestselling romance author Ashelyn Drake. When she’s not writing, Kelly works as an editor and also as Mom, which she believes is a job title that deserves to be capitalized.
I can’t believe this time has arrived, but finally
Aside from this very essential point, this was another great instalment. The mystery was convoluted and the final twist kept me guessing til the end. Having a convict trying to get Piper’s help was a new device in this series, and I liked that the bid was an important part to try and solve the mystery.
I have come to LOVE the Piper Ashwell books. I'm not much of a fan of mystery novels, but this series has changed my mind!
In this novel, Piper really digs in hard and takes some risks, but this all pays off for her. Piper is an amazing PI and works well with the resources she has.
I couldn't predict the ending. I was really surprised. I hope you like this book as much as I do!
