Alison Brownstone #15

Drow Triumphant

Rate this book

It’s the beginning of the end. The other Drow princess and queen just don’t know it…  yet.

It’s business as usual for Brownstone Security. Drow threats or not, they still have work to do.

Agent Latherby requests Alison’s help on an off the books assignment that is more personal in nature. The government has basically said to leave it be, but after Alison and the team find out what it is, they can’t refuse.

It’s time to find a ghost ship and any survivors left from more than 100 years ago.

A ghost ship the Drow manage to show up at. This Drow succession fight is getting tiresome. Time to take the fight to them.

Alison has plenty of resources, including James Brownstone, to solve the problem for good. Is she willing to risk her family and friends to put the proper leadership on the Drow throne?

Only one way to find out. Scroll back to the top and click “Buy Now” or “Read for Free” and read the exciting conclusion to the Alison Brownstone series!

Seriously, do *not* tick off a Brownstone!

Alison and her friends are ready to face Drae and remove the threat she presents to the Drow, and to all of Oriceran and Earth.

This is an excellent finale to the Alison series, and truly shows how much she has grown and matured. The fight scenes are awesome, and we see some new tactics as well.

I’m a little sad that this series has finished, and hope to see more of Alison and her friends in future books.

Drow politics

So Allison just can’t get away from drow politics with only 3 princesses left and drea being Insane anything can happen and it does splitting her forces and having no concerns for any of the drow people bringing in the unexpected she believes she showing strength and for the drow culture strength is most important but Allison has some ideas crazy. And let’s no forget baby Thomas showing faster development then the average earth baby hope there’s some more about him in the books ahead

A wise ruler emerges from the chaos

While Alison Brownstone is forced to contend for the Drow throne, mysteries demand she solve them. More weird fogs & creatures! Meanwhile, the evil and delusional Princess Drea is hellbent on detroying Alison and Rasila, the last two remaining princesses. Together they prove that while it might be good to rule through fear, it is great to rule through love and fear! James & Whispy even make a cameo.
Even though I really enjoy your books, please for the love of all that is holy! learn how to spell!!! The word "whoa", used to express surprise or disbelief (or to stop a horse), is consistently misspelled in all your books. You can afford a dictionary now, right? We've bought enough books, I think. I shall report this to the troll if you don't fix it! I have his email here somewhere...

The end of an era

There will be a Drow queen. But which one will succeed? Alison must come to a decision. Three princesses are left, who will be the queen? A good read.

Triumphant Finale

This book was one of the most enjoyable of the series. The crescendo began in earlier books culminating in the solution to the Drow Queen succession issue that plagued Alison from the beginning. The moral of the story is do not annoy the Brownstone family. In particular don't make them angry. Alison is supported by her family and friends as she battles to minimize loss of life and prevent evil people from taking over the Drow nation. I like the action, humor, and romance. I am sorry that this is the end of the series, but it ended on a great note.

So very sad it's over.

Hopefully there will be more James Brownstone books and Alison will make an appearance.
One of my favorite series ever!

Good ending to the series. It is always hard to end a series and still have it be true to the story.

Very satisfying conclusion.

I enjoyed the series and this book very much. I am so sorry to see that it is done. I enjoyed most of the characters in the series not all, one was very annoying. But all in all this is a great book and a great series and if you have not read this book or the series I urge you to do so. You love the action, the camaraderie and the humor among the characters. This is a very fun series and a very fun fast-paced book to read.

Alison is kicking butt

Alison is asked by agent Latherby to find a ghost navy ship that sometimes appears around Halloween. His great grandfather served on this ship but all reference of it has been removed from any records. Alison, Mason and others go to find the ship. Read to see what happens next because you will not be disappointed!

So long and thanks for all the fish!

This is the end of Alison's series, don't know if they will make an Alison's daughter series. But Yoda mention comparison between BA and A, so be ready for a Bob's Bar crossover (at least).

Love

I have enjoyed this series from the very start, watching Alison develop from a young teenager to becoming a Queen, kick-ass action all the way. Also a little sad that the serial has come to a conclusion, but looking forward to continuing with the rest of the Oriceran and Kurtherian series

It was good to see where Allison ended up. Still surrounded by friends trying to make the worlds better places.

Wonderful last story

Some much happening with lots of adventure, excitement, and danger. Sometimes you get pushed into things and have to come out fighting. Love the scene with the little brother.

Alison and Co go off into the sunset. All good things must come to an end, unfortunately. Excellent end to an excellent series. I have loved this series. From James and Alisons introduction, they have entertained me in every story. Sad it had to end, but at least it was on a high.

Great End? To The Series.

This book draws the series to a satisfying conclusion. If it ends here, that's OK, but I think I'll cry "Encore" a few times and hope a few more books end up part of the series.

What a great ending to a superbly entertaining series!

Alison has really had it with Drae, the Drow Princess of the Deepest Night, and she and the other surviving Drow Princess, Rasila, are determined to beat Drae at whatever games she has thought up.

What the two Princesses hadn't realised, though, was that Drae has been planning their impending confrontation, ever since James Brownstone defeated Queen Laenna!

Drae has, in fact, had all that time, in order to arrange her plans, which have more twists and turns, than the Labyrinth created for King Minos!

This final book to the Alison Brownstone series certainly packed a punch, and there were so many plots within plots, that I barely got over one thing, before something else happened - but it was a great read, so I enjoyed that!

I must admit that I've had some nitpicking moments over some of the books in the series, but it'd be a boring world if we all loved exactly the same thing.

All-in-all, I've been thoroughly entertained by this series, and I think it helped best, because I've been following the official Oriceran Reading List, and so Alison's series was so intertwined with the James Brownstone series!

Talking of which, even though Alison's story has been told, there are still a couple of books of James' series to be read so, as soon as I finish this review, I'll be going over to book number 21: 'BBQ With A Side of No Apologies', in order to read the first of the two books left.

Once I read this next book, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I thought of it!

Series end

Well what a rollercoaster from the first book in this series I was hooked, and devoured every book. I think you get invested in a character and from there on out you want to know where they go. Alison has been on one heck of a journey, from a young, naive blind girl to a strong independent woman. It’s not been easy, but the series has followed her from school, into her own business helping people with her unique fighting style, as a drow developing relationships on Oriceran, and gaining loyal friends.
If you like fast paced, gripping storylines, magical characters and lots of action then give this series a go. Start at book 1, starts at the school of necessary magic, these books are all on kindle unlimited (bonus), but I have to say I would definitely have bought this series.

I've read where this was the last of the Alison Brownstone books but I gotta say that I love, love, loved Alison, Mason, Hana, Tahir, Drysi and Alison's mom and dad, James and Shay. BUT I really loved Hana's shape-shifting pet. You never knew what he was going to be from day to day: a dog, cat, lizard, rooster, octopus, whatever. He was an awesome pet.

The only disappointing think about this series what that Mason never kissed Alison, not even for as much they were supposed to have love each other. He kissed her forehead and temple a couple of times in the 15 book series.

And the F-bomb was used 36 times.

As for the narration: You couldn't get any better than Kate Rudd to do this series.

Fitting ending to Allison's Adventures

The ending was a bit predictable with a few surprises thrown in to keep you going. The book did not disappoint. I have really enjoyed getting to go on this adventure with Allison and all of her friends and family. I always looked forward to the next book in the series and I can say I have enjoyed reading them all. I will miss Allison and her cast of characters. But know that I can always come back and relive the adventure again if I want to. On to other worlds and adventures. Thanks Martha and Michael for the escape and action you created.

The end of a series.
This like Drow Conqueror wasn't slow and chunky.
We also got to see more drow stuff that is not touched upon enough in this series and learn more about politics. You can fly through this book in no time.
I was satisfied with the ending and also baby Thomas is adorable. I keep trying not to compare this Alison to the Alison in the Unbelievable Mr Brownstone series (books 1-6) and The School of Necessary Magic (she has her own series and Raine has her own one)
The action was tense and Alison and her friends were ready to fight to the end.

A Very Fitting Ending

And that’s a wrap! Alison, Princess of the Shadow Forged fights with her team, family, friends and fellow Drow to take on Drae and her crazy plan.
What a very fitting end. Part of my suspicions were right but not totally, I didn’t see a particular thing happening but it did make for a great ending.
Well done to Judith Bergen’s, aka Martha Carr and Michael Anderle for a brilliant series. I would definitely recommend reading this and many other series in the Oriceran Universe.

Why did the series have to end

This has been my go to series for a while. When I need a little pick me up I go read about Allison kicking butt. It is a great series about women being in power and not going all catty over it. Women who was leadership positions should read it they could learn a few things. Good job and I’m gonna miss the series....

The End

First off I'm going to miss Allison Brownstone and company. You must put them in some of the other books. .
I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire series. Martha is a wonderful writer and so is Michael. He has brought so many great authors in their own rights together to tell some pretty remarkable tales. Thank you and keep writing.

Good ending to a great series!

I’m glad to say that I enjoyed this series as well as the previous series and the introduction of Alison in the original Unbelievable Mr. Brownstone series. This was a good ending and I enjoyed the battle scenes as well. Sorry to see that this is the end but it had to come.
