What happened after the happily ever after?

You all know the story of Aladdin. But do you know what happened after the fairytale ending? Well, we know. Not all afters end up happily. Sometimes the real adventure starts much later…

The evil sorcerer has returned, and it’s up to Gaia to challenge him using her magic. But using her magic isn’t as easy as she thought. Yet, she manages to escape his grasp, fleeing into Genie’s arms. She wonders if perhaps there might be a chance at love with her beloved confidant, only to have everything disrupted by the sorcerer once again. But this time, it is Genie who takes him. Will Genie succeed? Or will the sorcerer finally get control of the kingdom just as he’d planned eighteen years earlier?

Born in Leeds, I lived a very normal life until I got bored one day and decided to travel the world. Since then I've worked on a Banana Plantation, cleaned ACDC's dressing room and been a professional clown.
I climbed to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of Kilimanjaro. Nowadays you'll find me being a climbing frame for my two young children, working in a school, and renovating my home.
Did I also mention I wrote some books?

The clash of magic is now unavoidable.
The Vizier has come to Kisbu with one intent - to destroy the one who destroyed him eighteen years ago, and meanwhile enslave the Genie again. Yet Gaia is not one to give up, and her stubborn resistance imbued with magic, love, and passionate need to protect is a force to be reckoned with.
Accompanied by those she can trust, they all search for a solution to the desperate situation.
Gaia, Genie, Aladdin, Jawahir, Freya, and Jamal are the six strong personas that pose as role model in a very difficult situation. They are each adorable in their own personal fights, failing and trying again until hope lasts. Wisdom and love combined are able to repel the worst of the magical attacks, and the way it is portrayed in this miniseries is awesome. I enjoyed this entertaining read, and am looking forward to see where the next steps would lead.

Gaia has some amazing friends, an incredible phoenix and an epic carpet! Filled with danger, excitement, and the belief that true love conquers all (even if it is kind of weird to set up your own parents) this installment has them fighting in ways they never thought possible; ways that will change them all. This book has strong allusions to the familiar Aladdin stories especially as our intrepid heroes rush to find the lamp.

This is the end of Gaia's arc, and as with the other arcs in this series it ends with a happy for now. The immediate crises have been settled, but the underlying danger is still festering - and Gaia is off to The Forge to see if they might have any answers.

Already the last book of the arc of Aladdin. Goddess of fire starts were Throne of the Phoenix have left us.

Gaia needs to find the lamp before The Vizier do if not he will control Genie. I really loved the relationship building up between Gaia and Genie. Even when he doesn't always remember her cause of the curse. His feeling are still deep down and everything is not totally lost for the moment.

I have received a free arc of this book from J.A. Armitage. If you love fairytales retelling I really recommend the Kingdom of Fairytales series.

Book 4 finishes the season strong! It’s the anticlimactic ending I’ve come to expect from the seasons so far but there is more than enough action, love and cheering moments to keep its 5 star rating!

Satisfying Conclusion

I really liked the tone of this book and how Gaia has taken a lead on trying to solve the mystery of what is causing the problems in the kingdoms. The Aladdin storyline has its happy ending. On to the next adventure!

Enjoyed reading it!

I have had difficult time of putting each of the books in this year long series. The characters and storyline are well written and believable. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to find out what happened after happily ever after.
