Carolyn was one of you as a kid, with the intriguing seeds planted in her head of the shivering thrill-thoughts that came with words like spanking, or discipline. As with you, those kinds of words and thoughts connected the heated blush of her cheeks with feelings elsewhere, which got more and more interesting the older she got.

Doctor nurse scenario, becomes nurse nurse scenario, lots of control, corporal punishment, so much, totally over the top, too much...which if in real life would leave a severely battered body. It lost its erotic element and became abusive.

Disliked this, and also this reminds me of another book I’ve read in the past, maybe a Charlotte Green story, but it’s as if the core of that story has been rewritten and expanded on.

Whatever, I usually enjoy med kink, but not this, it’s a turn off.

I love this author and this is one of her hot harsh and very sexy stories. It's very well written and described, so easy to read, as expected. All the characters are very well written. If you start it please finish it, it's not what you think. I liked Darcy, she is submissive, broke and unhibited. I am not so sure about the Doctor. But he does serve the needs of both his nurses and patients. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. Darcy wanted everything that was done to her. Hot. Sexy.

If you like page after page of punishments, which are mostly NOT given by the doctor in this story, but by a variety of female nurses, to other female nurses, then you will love this book! Personally I like something with a little more substance and storyline so, before 50% in, I started to get bored and skimming. Especially when it got to part 2, which was basically all the same things all over again but this time administered by the nurse who had been subjected to it all in part 1.
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. I know Carolyn Falkner is a prolific author, but I had never read her work, so I was eager to sample it. On the whole, though, I probably won't bother again. The entire scenario was way past unrealistic, and it was repetitive to the point of being tedious, since there was no real plot. But like I said, if you're into straight punishment erotica, then this is the book for you. Simply not my personal cup of tea.

This book is the story of a young nurse, Darcy, who goes to work for a doctor with a practice that is quite unusual, both in the types of services provided to its female clients, and the punishments administered to the various employees. She tolerates it because it pays very well and she has a lot of debt – but also because she enjoys the punishments. The punishments she experiences are pretty extreme, but if one enjoys a strict BDSM story in a medical setting, this will certainly hit all the right buttons. There is no love or affection between the characters – Doctor Brackett, her boss, treats the nurses as his personal harem – to be chastised and rewarded as he sees fit – and through the story, we find Darcy having to decide how much she wants to remain involved. First, let me give a warning. This is a severe, CONSENSUAL story. Darcy is a nurse in Dr. Brackett's office. He has a special practice with women who come to him for sexual dominance. His nurses are subjected to the same, and worse, discipline. But, they are rewarded with a salary 3x what most nurses make. Darcy stays because she owes a lot of money and needs to pay it off and because she enjoys the treatment she receives. This book is not for the fainthearted. There is the use of paddles, hairbrushes, canes and other instruments of torture that a fertile mind can come up with. Darcy is a young nurse that is in deep debt. She comes to work for Dr. Brackett because he
pays about 3 times as much as most employers. Darcy finds that the punishment she receives
from the Dr. and the nurse in charge are all consensual and something she craves as well
as the excellent pay for many said consensual punishments in addition to her regular salary.
After one major punishment she received enough to be able to pay off her debt and not have
to work but she decides to go back any way. There are many twists and turns in this story.

Darcy is a nurse with an adventurous sexual side and finds herself in debt. She needs to get herself out of this and move forward, how can she do this as efficiently as possible. Doctor Brackett is someone she has played with before and found herself submitting to him easily and comfortably while he always seems to push a little farther than she thought she would ever go. The doctor approaches her with yet another play scenario that will push her farther yet, is she game or does she find her line crossed? This was a darker side story with a lot of steaminess. Enjoy!

Whoa......Carolyn Faulkner sure knows how to write about extreme discipline and intimate discipline as well...

This story had so much more and intense discipline scenes then I thought it would have. Carolyn, you did a great job of describing those scenes, but in the end, I think both the extreme gym and his nurse, Darcy were falling for one another. If you like extreme disciplinary action, you will absolutely love this book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough of it. It was hot and steamy with emotions that makes you want more, with lust. Darcy was hired as a nurse.

Medical play...
Nurse Darcy Hanson is deeply in debt to the IRS. The unconventional job she got with Dr. Jared Brackett pays substantially more than normal nursing jobs. Dr. Brackett issues both patients and staff very strict instructions and reprimands. He runs a very tight ship.

This story was very good. This is about a doctor who has a sexual kink. He's very dominate and one of his nurses is very willing to participate. There was definitely something interesting about this story. Darcy begins working for a Dr's office that specializes in something different. There was definite punishment and medical play. I didn't give this a higher rating because I prefer to have some sort of happy ending.

I would rate this one 3.5 stars. Normally this author rates five stars from me, but this one lacks her normal character development. I just felt like it went from one kinky medical scene to the next, without a lot in between. I really didn't get a feel for the characters.

Darcy is a nurse working for Dr. Brackett’s office. He has a very special practice where women seek him out to be dominated and he also disciplines his nurses as well. They payoff is the salary. This is an intense steamy read with loads of drama, punishment. Is there are limit to what Darcy will do for the salary or will she choose to leave? I really liked it.

This is definitely a harsh, medical erotic story. You’re not getting a romantic HEA with this one. This is Carolyn Faulkner at her best and worth a read.

I normally love med-kink but this was just straight up physical abuse. There was no actual connection built between any of the characters, the main character is driven to desperately deal with the punishments because of her debt and isn't actually with choice.

This was a little different than I have read before,its a really steamy story.
When you work for the Doctor its his rules and if you don't obey you must be disciplined. That Doctor has taken a liking to his employee and begins intense training for her its his prescription to total obedience.

Carolyn Faulkner is one of those authors that I will always read, even if the sub-genre isn't necessarily my favourite. I know that I will get a quality read that makes a short book feel much bigger, filled with interesting & original characters. This read is no exception even though it did push my boundaries - a lot. I don't think I've read a book like this before. Right from the start it's brutal in it's consensual non-con. This book is heavy in sadism/masochism & humiliation & I found it quite difficult to read. There is also no traditional HEA. If those topics appeal to you, this is a quality read. But if you're a more traditional romance/spanking romance fan, consider if this is for you.

This is Carolyn Faulkner at her nastiest. Ever wonder what goes on behind closed doors of a private medical clinic? This story delves into the deepest, darkest, actions of a sexually dominant doctor, one of his more than willing nurses, and a whole cast of other nurses. There are many severe spankings, an abundance of dark (demented?) orifice punishments, lots of medical play, and anal play abounds. This is not a romance or love story. From the aforementioned list of attributes, 4 out of 5 ain’t half bad……. and the eroticism is off the charts. 4 sizzling Stars.
