In part two of this dynamic series, it starts off right where the first book left off. When Rio finally makes up his mind about what to do, a separate attempt on Mulan’s life has Rio checking everyone out and then doubling back and checking again. But when Rio finds out that the person who tried to take Mulan from him is someone extremely close to him, will he remain levelheaded or burn the entire city to the ground, in the name of love? On the other hand, Rio isn’t the only one battling his demons. Mulan is still dealing with the effects of her mother’s addiction, and when the final boundary is broken at last, Mulan will have to decide whether a relationship with her mother is really worth it in the end. If that wasn’t bad, secrets come spilling out, and the most important one might bring Mulan right to her knees. After Kolby’s indiscretions are revealed, Jordy is once again focused on herself. But with a relentless man like Kolby willing to do whatever to get her back, Jordy is now fighting against using her heart or her head. Will Kolby’s smooth ways get him his woman back?
I really enjoyed the series, the main characters were very lovable. I hated to see them go they left me wanting more. Moe was weak and delusional she blamed Jordy for Kolby leaving when it was her fault with her nagging, insecurities and violent behavior. I was so glad Jordy gave Kolby another chance because he was a good dude. Dama was also weak blaming Mulan when Gotti was a serial cheater which she knew about but still stayed with him. Rio was good for Mulan and him forgiving her showed how deep his feelings were for her to get over everything that happened with Gotti. Great job now we need a wedding so we can get more of both couples relationship.
Honey every last one of these characters got on my nerves real bad. Especially Mulan and that got dang goat. She was delusional as kcuf! Rio definitely should’ve passed her up. She was so whiny and hardheaded that nobody could tell her anything. Jordy had every right to be upset with Kolby for not being honest about Moe. Moe was so toxic and I wouldn’t have wanted to be with her either because she was definitely the aggressor. Then to easily lie about Kolby beating her was unreal!
The first book was funny to me but this one I don't really know what to say about. This book would have been much better if it focused more on the couples instead of a goat/son. Some parts of this book seems rushed. I will be reading A Hitta's Valentine because I already started it before I realized it was connected to this series.
I love me some snow. He was so bad. Jordy was something else. She didn't play around. She will shoot you in a minute. Kolby was a good fit for her. Mulan and Rio were a cute couple but she had a bad attitude. I glad Rio saw past it because she would have been by herself. Anyway Rio and Kolby were very dangerous men that finally found love. Good read
I loved all the characters! I'm soooo mad at Moe tho for lying on Kolby. I was so glad when Snow got his butt whooped lol. I look forward to what you have coming next.
A good ending to a well written story. The drama continued and the truth came to light. The author has done a good job bringing together all the drama and ending in happiness.
It was a Good book but it felt like it just abruptly ended. Lane just couldn't get right. I still say Mulan got some mental health issues, walking around with a darn goat.
That darn Mulan and Jordy worked my nerves in this book. They just had no chill. But overall it was good. I wish I could've had more about Desiree. She seemed like a character and her son was off the chain.
I enjoyed reading this series. I like the way It ended . This is most definitely a must read series. It was great starting from part 1...Taniece you did a great job with this series...
Milan real tot Snow for her child. She was raising him to be human and not a Goat.. Glad everyone got their happy ending. Hopefully Lane can heal her demons. Would i not mind holiday update read of these characters.......
This is my first time reading a series from you. I was a little bit thrown by the whole snow situation. Mulan really believed in her mind and heart that Snow was her son. Overall the story was ok but Snow just really threw me.
I'd say snow was the star of the book. I swear I laughed every time Mulan had to yell at him. Even funnier is when Rio said he whooped his butt with a belt. Yo I laughed so hard tears escaped. Overall not a bad read.
This was a great series. I just think that the story line wasn't pieced together well. Every other chapter or 2 chapters was 2 weeks later, a month later. Like it was rushed to be finished.
The series was alright, it wasn’t the best one I read and it wasn’t the worst. The characters had their share it crazy drama but in the end they got their relationship back on track.
Moe and Chelle know they were crazy for the way they were behaving with their baby daddies. If it’s over let it go. I can’t believe his momma put a hit out on her. Even knowing she was pregnant with her grandchild. Glad the girls got a happy ending.
I love you bills. I truly do but shorts every woman in your bills have been so childish? I knew it was his mama who put that hit out. Hurt people hurt people if you know what I mean.
While reading these two books it was just plain stupid how Mulan kept referring to that daggone goat as her son. That little wild animal tore up too much stuff. I was glad when Rio whooped his butt. Otherwise the books were pretty good.
