Being a wedding planner is hard, especially when someone is always trying to steal your business, and your family doesn’t support you. However, Roxanne Novak is determined to keep her business afloat. When Roxy’s in a car accident hurrying to meet a potential bride, she’s injured and scared, but paramedic Henley Young takes good care of her.
Henley loves his job and thrives on the adrenaline of helping people in need. Maybe that’s why when he meets Roxy, he’s inclined to help her with more than just medical care. Hooking her up with his older brother Wesley and his bride-to-be could be just what she needs. It might also be the start of something between the Lee and the spunky little wedding planner.
When a position at a country club is offered to Roxy, she finds herself rethinking her entire business plan. Excited to start someplace new, Roxy and Henley begin making plans for the future. Just after she starts her new job, Roxy learns of Lee’s past relationship, and everything she knew about him is questioned.
Can Roxy and Henley put the past to bed and move forward to something that might be more than what both of them had ever hoped for?

I loved this second book in this series. Roxanne is a strong person who doesn’t look at situations only with her emotions, but with thoughts of how someone else feels. She has always loved the thought of helping brides with their weddings and starts her own business. I was so disappointed to see how her brother and father treated her. I know some had to do with her mother. But I would hope it would have brought them closer. I loved Henley and his family. Henley is the kind of paramedic I would want to help me. He is such a family man and his family are all close. They all seemed like they had fun together and were there for each other when they needed to be. Roxanne’s business competitor and old school friend was a piece of work. I enjoyed watching Roxanne and Henley get to know each other and fall in love. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
A really good book. It made me laugh and cry throughout. A must read for anyone who loves a great romance.
Roxanne was headed to meet a client early one morning right after it snowed and another car ran a red light and ran into Roxanne. She was trapped in her car and when the emergency medical team responded realized that her brother Roman was a Police Officer. He was called to the scene. But the Paramedic who responded to the accident was Henley. Her leg was pinned under the dash of the car and she couldn't feel it anymore. He crawled into the car to check out how bad she was pinned in there. I think one of my favorite parts was when he was feeling around to see the extent of the damage and she told him that "You know that normally before I let a guy feel me up, he has to at least buy me coffee".
You really have to read the book it just gets better and better as you read it.
I read the first in this series and loved it this one was just as good. The author has a talent to draw you into her book with her description.
Henley is another Young brother who is a paramedic. Roxanne was a wedding planner, her dream job from a little girl and she was good at it. The only thing wrong was she had competition who kept undercutting her prices and stealing her clients. Roxy's brother Roman was very protective over her obsessively, since their mother walked out because she wanted more out of her life. Roman couldn't come to terms with their mother leaving and wanted Roxanne to be reliant on him and his father.
She was driving to an early morning appointment that she really needed when she was in a car accident. When the paramedic got there it was Henley on duty. You could say it was love at first sight, but with love comes troubles.
To be completely honest, I fell in love with this book after the first page. The author certainly knows how to get you hooked on a book. I would have finished it last night but it was getting too late. But I didn’t want to put the book down. It was funny, warm, wonderful, romantic and a great story line. Can I give it more than 5 stars? I have always enjoyed the author’s books and have read many of them but on the romantic genre this was her best.
The story is about a woman, Roxanne, who had her own wedding planning business and on a day where she was running late for an important possible client she gets in a horrible car crash. When the good looking paramedic, Henley, had to get in the car to assist her and get her out, sparks were flying between them. The story continues as the two of them wanting to see how their relationship would work out when they had issues to deal with. Those issues included Roxanne’s older brother the most. This is the second of the Loving a Young Series and I haven’t read book 1 Wesley yet but I’m going to. Obviously it can stand alone but with the Young family I want to read more. Great book and highly recommend it.
I really love stacy Eaton's writing style. I love how you get each character's thoughts and feelings. I love the character development and how the story unfolds at a natural pace. It's never rushed. Henley is my favorite character so far. He is just so dang swoon-worthy. LOL New book boyfriend material for sure. I love the subtle foreshadowing and the twists that are perfect to tie it all together in a complete picture but don't throw you for a total emotional tailspin. Great book. I can't wait to read more about the Young family!!
I am loving this series so much! A fantabulous, warm romance that will leave you with that feel good feeling inside! Girl meets boy, they get to know each other faults and all and fall in love. There’s ups and downs, good and bad, there’s family to deal with, heartwarming moments, heartbreaking moments, there’s humour but best of all a hea! I loved the first book (which I totally recommend reading before this one) and I absolutely loved this second book and am looking forward to reading more!
This is book two of this new series by Stacy and I believe it's a winner. Henley is the second brother in his family to find love in a roundabout way, when he is called to attend an accident. Roxanne is in a rush to get to work to meet a potential client. But due to a new snow fall is running late. Just as she pull away from the traffic lights her car is hit and she is hit by the air bag. And she cannot move her leg, that has blood running down it. Henley arrives and climbs into the car to assess her condition, and Roxanne propaganda tree proportions him. And so this story begins but not all goes well. Hope you enjoy this story as much as I have.
Henley is the second book in the “Loving a Young” series and Stacey Eaton does not disappoint. This is a romance and it is not without the ups and downs and the twist and turns that love brings to all of us. Ms. Eaton captures how perception and misunderstandings can take a romance on a roller coaster ride. This is a wonderful series and I can’t wait for the other Youngs to have their own book.
I loved this book from start to finish - being a wedding planner can be hard work and getting into an accident makes it even harder. This is a fantastic story about finding love when you least expect it . I really enjoyed it
2nd in a series. This is shaping up to be a great series. I love the series where you get to know the "whole" story and continue on even when the subject is another couple. have to be honest - this is one of my fave authors. I love the plot line, the dialogue and the real situations. .
You'll fall in love with this paramedic just like Roxy did. It was love at first sight. Roxy's brother and father try to control her life. She's strong and fights for what she wants. You'll love getting to know these characters and their story.
The second book is the series is strong and starts off with the same ability to pull you in as the first. You get to know even more of the family and fall in love with them all over again as well as admiring Roxy who is feisty and loving.
OMG! What a way to meet a guy. Stuck in your car after and accident and the paramedic that helps you is gorgeous. Flirting the whole time they are trying to get you out of the car, Henley stays with you to keep you calm. A dinner date is talked about. Then he shows up at the hospital to check on you. Holding your hand until Roxy's brother Roman shows up. Roman doesn't like Henley even though he doesn't know him. Then Henley offers to bring over dinner for you, makes it himself & then cleans up after. Trying to get her business going, Roxy gets invited to his parents to meet his brother that needs help planning their wedding. Losing most of her clients to her competition in town she can't figure out how. I loved Henley, want to punch Roman out and scratch the eyeballs out of her competition. Lots of feelings in this book you won't want to miss.
This book! I just finished and man it was good. Who isn’t going to love a man that respects you, cooks for you, is great at loving you? Heck the man even shoveled her steps. And Roxanne is a strong and determined woman that is just the kind of woman that Henley needs. Oh I can’t even begin to tell you how frustrated I am with two other characters in this book and how they treat Roxanne. The Young family is so fun to read about. No family is perfect, but the love they have for each other is wonderful. As you can tell I love it when I can get emotionally invested in the characters and Henley’s book definitely had that ability for me. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Roxanne Novak is a wedding planner who's barely keeping her head and her business above water. Her clients are disappearing and she's sure that it's her high school nemesis, Susan, who's behind it all. An accident puts Roxy into Henley Young's path and the accident eventually gives her life more meaning. Henley Young and his family are true family goals in the sense that there is so much love among the parents, the children, the grandchildren and all of the friends and lovers. This is all new for Roxy since her family is basically splintered and certainly not in her corner. The love story between Roxanne and Henley is hot, sweet and oh, so sexy, until those who should always have her back prove their lack of loyalty. Henley has a secret throughout the story that he really needs to tell Roxanne about, now! He's promised Roxy that he's a faithful boyfriend, but once she sees the photos of Henley, the proof of his infidelity is right before her eyes...or is it? How does he ever get out of this mess or is the truth so egregious that he's already toast?! This was rather out of character for Henley, but it made sense once we knew who was behind it. The resolution was a little too rushed and, although it's a happy ending, I wanted to have a little bit longer to see the couple happy in their life together. The narration by Jan McNamara was okay, but hard to follow. There was little variation or modulation between the male and female voices which forced me to have to listen carefully to the conversation to figure out who was speaking. Her voice is pleasant, but there has to be more definition in the delivery.
Henley Loving a Young, Book 2 By: Stacy Eaton Narrated by: Jan McNamara
Now, I would love to hang out at the Young house! Fun times, good conversation and good advice is always given. But how do you get there? Henley is an EMT, sent out on a call on a snowy night to help with a car accident. Little did Roxanne, the woman in the car and Henley realize just how this event would change both their lives. Instant chemistry, Henley helps her and stays with her at the hospital, learning she is a wedding planner. With little support from her family, she is determined to make it work, but there is a woman in town who seems to want to put her out of business. As Roxy heals, the two are fast, flirting friends and she end up at the Young's for dinner, where life takes another direction. This is quick paced, a bit of adventure, a few secrets and unpredictable twists and turns I didn't see coming. Stacy Eaton has me loving the warmth of the family, the tenderness of the Young men(yes we get to see Wesley) and the independence and adventure that Roxy is willing to take to attain her dream. Loved this installment and cannot wait for Huxley!
Jan McNamara continues her narration of this series. I love her inflections and emotions that she puts into each character in every scene. There are times it is difficult to tell the character voices apart, but for the most part the story flows and is very enjoyable.
We are back with the Young siblings, this time it’s Henley’s story. Roxanne Novak is a wedding planner on her way to meeting a potential client. The roads are slippery and she ends up being t-boned and unable to get out of her car, Henley is the paramedic called to assist in helping Roxanne. Neither realizing that this encounter would be instrumental in forming their future. As they get to know each other , Henley helps her not only to get better, but also offering her a meeting with his brother and his fiancee who are planning a wedding. This leads to a meeting with his family. A family so very different from hers, and one she immediately falls in love with . But Henley’s past and Roxanne’s brother could potentially destroy the bond these two are forming and likely their future. This is a story about family or lack thereof and of finding that special person when you least expected . This was another good addition to the series and one that leaves you wanting to find out if all the siblings will get their HEA. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Struggling to keep her head above water in the face of mischief and betrayal, Roxanne has a hard time juggling her business and paying the bills. An accident puts her into Henley Young’s orbit and suddenly life takes on new meaning – that is until the past revisits itself. This romance is suspenseful in that those who should have been Roxanne’s support were in fact her main detractors and she has to fight to maintain her own identity. Lee’s initial kindness bowls her over and meeting his family brings her to the realisation of all she is missing in life. Unfortunately, even as Roxanne’s luck turns and she has more definite goals in life, those with malicious intent escalate their efforts. Lee is a charming hero and one that a woman could easily fall in love with. Roxanne is a person who keeps trying, even when the odds are against her and she retains her sweet spirit. I enjoyed this novel and felt all the pain and frustration that Roxanne was experiencing and was happy that this novel came to a happy and successful conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Where can I find me a Henley? LOL! He is the perfect package all rolled into one – he cooks, cleans, listens, is respectful, hot, a paramedic and understanding. Roxanne is a strong, independent woman who is trying to run her own business, without the support of her family. Her father and brother treat her with no respect at all. There were so many times throughout the story I just wanted to punch her brother. The Young family is the picture perfect family – they all love each other and when a new person comes into their lives, they are just as welcoming.
When Henley and Roxanne meet (while not under the best circumstances) they both feel a connection almost immediately. This is a story about taking chances, learning to trust and understanding. Great story, wonderful characters and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Booksprout ARC’s for an honest review.
Can’t stop but to keep on falling even deeper for the Youngs ; what a family ! Met Wesley in a previous book but wow, Henley just swoon me over ! Henley is sweet and oh sexy! He’s a careful paramedic, nice, thoroughly and professional. When he meets Roxy in an accident, its instant chemistry and instant love. She makes him feel like no one else has in years. Roxy is a fighting to keep her business a flow and even thou her own family doesn’t support her choices, meeting Henley changes her life and he opens her eyes to a more fulfilling life. She can finally see what a loving family, having someone who really cares could bring her. Meeting new friends, and having a better job opportunity will finally bring her a fresh change in life; all her dreams coming at once. I’m sooooooo looking forward to see what will happen to the sexy charming brother Huntley.
This is the second book in the series and I've fallen more in love with the Young family. This time it's Henley's turn. They way Roxy and Henley meet is a story to tell the grandkids one day.Can I say I'm not a fan of Roxy's family.I want to knock sense into all of them. It makes it all the more special when Roxy meets Henley's family. One of the worst days in Roxy's life turns out to be a blessing in disguise. It starts a chain of events to give her a path to everything she's always dreamed of. There is a shoe to drop coming for Roxy that had me gasping as a reader couldn't imagine how it felt for Roxy. This book will suck you right in with the characters. I truly lived watching Roxy bloom in this book. I'm going to try to patiently wait for the next book in the series.
If there ever was a book that kept me gushing about the male main character, this was it. Practically perfect in every way...except that little bit about his past. But I loved Henley's interactions with his family and how he instantly acted with his protective instinct when Roxy needed him.
I loved Roxy's character and her independence. I didn't like her family so much. I kept wondering what her brother's problem was and why her dad couldn't just be supportive of her decisions. It never seemed to resolve itself.
This book made me laugh, it made me smile way too much, and it made me realize how lucky I am that I have a supportive family. Highly recommend.

This is the second book in the Loving A Young series. Roxanne and Henley's story was great. It was steamy, witty, entertaining read. I love the Young family they love each other, are supporting and caring but not afraid to joke and give each other a hard time, who wouldn't want to be part of their family. Henley and Roxy have a rather interesting first meeting, he's the paramedic that helped her during her car accident. She was hurt pretty bad, but they had a connection. The more they get to know each other the harder they start falling but Henley's past and Roxy's controlling brother cause issues for them.

I dare you not to fall in love with Roxy and Henley aka Lee, from the moment they meet there is a spark and it only grows from there but there are a lot of hurdles including jobs and family. Roxy knows what she wants out of life but it's like the world and well her family is against her, fortunately for her she meets Lee and although not in the best of circumstances but the attraction is there and oh what a ride it is to see how things change for both of them. I loved the laughs you have as well as seeing Roxy learn what family is all about, get tense when secrets are learnt and shocked at the twists that pop up. I am absolutely loving this series and can't wait for the next book!!

Quite a good story. Roxanne and Henley (Lee) are delightful from the very beginning. Their courtship is quite outside the norm having met as a result of an auto accident. The character of Roxy's brother made portions of the story almost unreadable. Her father, thankfully, wasn't involved enough to cause similar issues. The explicit scenes gravitate towards BDSM. The Young family, on the other hand, is a remarkably strong and supportive bunch. In particular, I look forward to seeing Riley's and Kayley's stories.
How Henley and Roxanne meet is funny. After all she is stuck in her crushed car and flirting with the paramedic, Henley. After he visits her at the hospital and he takes her dinner after she is released they are hooked. But Roxanne's brother does everything he can to separate them and with her nemesis stealing her clients she is in turmoil. Roxanne makes a big decision and her brother is not happy. His plans may just ruin everything for her. I love how Henley and Roxanne connect right away. Their relationship is fast and furious and they are made for each other. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
What a great 2nd book in Stacy's new series. Roxanne was in a serious car accident. Henley was the paramedic called to the scene. In order yo keep Roxanne calm and try to get her leg free, Henley had to grt in the car with her. I know its hard to believe, however there was some flirting going on. After being freed from the car and rushed yonthe hospital, Henley checked up on Roxanne. From that moment on there was an attraction. I love these characters with the exception of Roxanne's brother Roman. He is downright abusive to her. Just wait till yhe end, you find out what he has been doing. I highly recommend this story. There is a HEA eith no cliffhanger.
Roxanne Novak is a struggling wedding planner who is involved in a car crash, which results in her being trapped in her car. Henley Young is the paramedic who tends to get and they have an instant connection. A few meetings later and they agree to see each other. Her controlling older brother tried repeatedly to split them up and very nearly succeeds. Such a beautiful story but I really wanted to give her brother a piece of my mind as he was such a dirty piece of work. This couple are meant for each other and this made this book so feel good. Great read as usual from Stacy Eaton.
Henley, book 2 of the "Loving a Young" series was just as good, if not better then book 1! And if you read book 1, you know that one was a great read!! Henley, a paramedic, falls for Roxy after he helps rescue her after she has a car accident. Roxy, a wedding planner, is struggling to keep her business open because her competition is constantly stealing her clients! With Henley's encouragement and help, she relocates her business to another town. Things are going good with her relocation and with her relationship with Henley...that is until his past and her family get in the way of their HEA! Great read to see how things end of for Henley and Roxy! Looking forward to book 3!
I absolutely loved this book! Henley and Roxy’s story drew me in immediately. In fact, it’s one of few books I’ve read in a day. I couldn’t put it down. Stacy Eaton’s characters were strong, believable and very well written. I couldn’t imagine overcoming the obstacles that Roxy was faced with. Family is everything and hers needs some help. Henley’s family has a strong upbringing and are very welcoming to Roxy. Read this book to find out how they deal with an accident, family, relocation and love. You won’t be sorry! Even though this book is the second in a series, and I didn’t read the first one, it can be read as a stand-alone. Enjoy!
