Newly retired from the Boston Police Department, Ronan O’Mara is looking forward to spending time with his husband, Tennyson, and his daughter. It turns out walking away from his job is harder than he thought. When Ronan is offered the chance to work some cases at West Side Magick, he jumps at the chance.
Psychic Tennyson Grimm is used to all kinds of reactions from clients after psychic readings, but he isn’t prepared when a grieving father kisses him. What makes matters worse is that Ronan saw it happen.
When Tennyson’s client is found dead with Ronan hovering over him, it raises big questions. Did Ronan murder the client to get even, or is there a killer out there?
Sick of the slogging rat-race of her 9-5 job, Pandora Pine put pen to paper (literally!) to make her ambition of becoming a romance novelist a reality. She cut her teeth in the dog-eat-dog world of fanfiction, still dreaming of the day when she would be a published author. She lives in Massachusetts with her blabbermouth muse who’ s a fan of middle of the night plot twists.
In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot. Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.
Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens and handsome men falling in love with each other.

And it keeps getting better. Fourteen books in and I just can't get enough!
Follow the evidence...
What should have be the true start of a forever partnership, left husbands Ten and Ro in a predicament that was going to take more than vision to solve. The boys were back in town and Ronan was in a whole heap of trouble when his temper got the best of him. Now he's accused of homicide, when he's found over a dead body and it's going to take everything in everyone to solve this mystery.
Pandora Pine wrote the perfect murder mystery and it was like watching Criminal Intent. I solved most of the case early on, but there were aspects that were like, woah!!! I enjoyed the reality of Ten's and Ro's relationship. It's good to know that they ARE human and not the perfect couple I want them to be. We all knew Ro could exhibit jealousy, but to this extent had me "jaw dropped".
I invite you all to discover these guys if you haven't or grab a read to catch up with them. You won't be disappointed.
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
Yay Ronan and Ten are back. This latest story starts off with at the funeral for a child which was heartbreaking. Jump a head & the one father of the child comes to see Ten so that he can connection with his son. After that is done, on the way out of the reading, he grabs Ten & kisses him in front of Ronan. To say the least, Ronan goes ballistic, goes after him and doesn't let Ten explain. I really thought that Ronan had gotten his temper under somewhat control. Anyway, words are said and on both sides and Ronan leaves their home. Next things we know is Ronan is being arrested for the death of the man who kissed Ten. What we then have is the investigation to clear Ronan's name and find out who the killer was. Never saw that coming on who was behind it all and the full extent of the evilness that happened. Also, while all this is going on, Bertha goes MIA. We also see a glimpse of just how powerful Everly is going to be when she grows up. She does a pretty wild thing for just a little baby. This had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
The suspense was so good in this one! Ronan and Ten are back, and this time Ronan is in real trouble when he is arrested for murder after a heated exchange with the man who kissed Ten earlier that day. I do hate when something comes in between Ronan and Ten, but at the same time, I never doubt their love for each other, and that they will always be there for each other. Once again, I was not disappointed. They're still so darn adorable together, and with baby Everly now, even more so! As for the mystery, I was completely drawn in and I had no choice but to finish it in one sitting. Already need more Ten and Ronan!
Tennyson and Ronan’s relationship is put the test in this one. Not only is there jealousy to deal with, but a murder, in which Ronan is accused of. Without anyone able to use their gifts for some mysterious reason, the whole gang must work together, by the book, to solve this who done it mystery.
This story is suspenseful and a little bit emotional. There was a new character in this one and I’m excited to see what’s in store for the gangs future.
I love this series and usually they are without a question a 5 star read. And I still love the series and all the characters, lol, but I just couldn't give it the top rating this time.
Even though the series is rife with men who at times need to be told to start acting their age, or that I find some of the sex scenes a bit repetitive (not so much in the books, but definitely between the books, if that makes any sense, lol) there is something about all of it that has drawn me in and made me invest in these guys. And this story really was no different. I did question some of the police actions and the haste in which they acted, but okay, I can live with that. I also questioned the behaviour of Ronan, as I felt that to be quite extreme, and to be honest it was never explained why, or at least, nowhere I could see. I might have missed that though.
No, the reason I deducted a point from my rating is because I felt the end was extremely rushed. I'll go so far as to say, I felt it was unfinished. Not the actual mystery part of things, no that's over. There were a lot of things going on in the periphery that I felt weren't addressed and closed off. Now if that's because there's another book on the horizon that will address it, my bad. But if not, yeah it's left me a bit unsatisfied. I'll put it behind a spoiler as I don't want to ruin things if you haven't read the book yet.
So this is a weird review to write. First of all, I’m one of those people, and we seem to be few in number, who does not really think Ronan is a jerk. I generally find his reactions appropriate to the situation. So the first half of the book is problematic for me as I also tend to find Tennyson tiresome, a bit too holier than thou. That’s what happens here. When an issue arises between Ten and Ronan, Ten behaves like a spoiled brat and Ronan feels like he has no one to turn too. Of course, since he always feels inferior to his husband he returns home with the intention of resolving things only to have them wind right back up again. Again, I faulted Ten much more than Ronan. I was actually at the point where I almost threw in the towel when things went from 0 to 60!
The second half of the book is exciting, suspenseful, tense and intriguing. There are several problems that need to be resolved and it takes all the various talents, skills and contributions of the entire friend group. I loved the way this chosen family was shown honor and value.
The ending is exciting though I would have loved some more detail on how Ten and Cope solved their part of the problem. I found the ending satisfying.
Most people who fall into the “Ten is a saint and Ronan tests everyone’s patience” category probably won’t have the issues I had and will therefore thoroughly enjoy the book.
Well, this has to be the biggest mess that Ronan has found himself in throughout the whole series! Things start off so sweetly with Everly's first birthday party but it doesn't take long to to go downhill fast! Ronan ends up found in the worst possible position and accused of murder whilst those around him rally round, just like they usually do, to help him solve his own case and discover what is truly happening. Things are very on edge for the whole family, Tenn is unsure of his husband for the first time in their relationship and West Side Majick is the scene of a murder. All of their extended family become, of course, fully invested in supporting Ronan, Tenn and Everly. My heart hurt for the case they end up working and the impact that it had on the family they investigate. Yet another fantastic addition to the Cold Case Psychic series from Pandora Pine. This one hit me right in the feels and my emotion was drawn straight into the plot of the book, right there with the MC's. Definitely a recommended read. I'd say this is a series that should be read in order but if you don't mind established relationships then dive right in! I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
Terrific murder mystery, with psychics, magic, action, love and so much more! This was an amazing addition to this series! The story-line was totally believable with chain of events and the characters involved. I love that these characters that we love, continue to grow and change and their relationships continue to evolve. i laughed and i cried in this book, but i was always engaged and i did read it in one sitting. Totally enjoyed it!
Ronan and Ten are incredible together, flawed, steamy, loving, committed and so human. We have a couple of delightful new characters like Scorpio and Anthony. I am really curious about Scorpio and he has so really cool abilities. This book brought us back to the core characters of the West Side Magick Shop and the BPD and Salem PD. It was wonderful to see Cisco, Jude and Cope, Carson, Taylor, Fitzgibbon, and so many more.
This is book fourteen of the Cold Case Psychic series and can be read as a stand-alone story. However, to get maximum enjoyment i recommend you read it in the order it was written. You will thank me. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series, so much more to explore.
I was gifted this book from the author and i freely give my honest opinion and review.
This is another amazing addition to the Cold Case Psychic series and I loved everything about it. Dead on Arrival is well written, emotional, gritty, intense, has several surprising twists, introduces a new and intriguing character, there are some gut-wrenching moments that broke my heart, Ronan and Ten's relationship is tested more than ever before and as always the characters are wonderful. Ronan makes a few bad decisions when he is upset and the consequences are severe. He has to deal with the accusations against him as well as the reactions from his husband and friends. Ten doesn't know what to think or do when Ronan is arrested but his first priority is looking after their daughter. There are so many other things happening as well that everyone's attention is divided as they try to help Ronan. I love how all of their friends support and love Ten and Ronan even when they have doubts. The twists and turns in this story kept me fully engaged until the end and I can't wait to read the next book in this exciting series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This is another great book in the Cold Case Psychic world. Ronan and Tennyson, their friends-turned-family, and the babies - they all make me so happy! This time around, Ronan loses his temper due to jealousy, and he ends up suspected of murder. There is a lot of sadness in this one, since the murder is somehow related to the death of a toddler. To add more stress, something is keeping our favorite spirits away. But some of my tears are happy ones, since Ronan and Ten are constantly surrounded by the people who love them. This is the best kind of family. I"m enjoying watching Everly, Baby Bertha, and the other kids growing up on the pages of these books. I can just imagine the group of kids helping each other some day the way their parents do now. I hope the author isn't getting tired of these characters, because I'm still excited every time a new installment is released. I love the series, and this book is terrific!
The Cop Becomes The Accused. This is the latest chapter in Pine's long running and expansive Cold Case Psychic universe, back in the "main" storyline once again. And as with most of these tales, it can work as a first book for you, if you don't mind coming in and already seeing an established relationship(s), rather than the initial building of one. In this particular tale, Ronan and Tennyson's relationship is put to its biggest test to date when Ronan walks in on Tennyson kissing another man... and that man is dead hours later with his blood all over Ronan's body. A solid look - from the eyes of a cop - at the issues of when a cop becomes the accused, though in at least a slightly Hallmarkie way. (ie, this *is* still a romance book, and follows RWA conventions to that point.) Yet another great entry, and very much recommended.
As usual with Pandora Pine books once I start reading I can't stop until I have finished the book. I really enjoyed this storyline and always love it when the rest of the family join in the fun. Only gripe, no Bertha☹️ I really missed the sassy woman with the dirty mouth. There is always so much going on that the sex scenes don't take over and I must confess that I have become a bit desensitised to all the sex scenes in books these days and find myself skimming over them. I love that Pandora Pine books actually have good storylines and I have become a bit addicted to the paranormal. I would have liked a scene towards the end letting us know that Michael was ok and that Cody was reunited with his daddy. The downside - I have finished the book and now have to wait again for the next one, get writing Pandora 😂
Yes, Dead On Arrival is as addictive as the rest of Pandora Pine's Cold Case Psychic series. I seriously can't get enough of these guys.
This one starts off with the kids, who I love, and a fight between Ronan and Tenn. Next thing you know, Ronan is being charged for murder.
In classic Pandora Pine style, the story is fun, full of some surprises entwined with the romance and danger. The characters are as charming and steamy as usual. And the pace is non-stop. The mystery is full of twists and turns, keeping me guessing till the end.
Dead On Arrival is an stellar addition to Pandora Pine's Cold Case Psychic series. I continue to be in awe of this series that follows the same men, yet continues to be an entertaining and riveting as always.
Ronan is enjoying his retirement and spending his days with their daughter. Tenn is enjoying having Ronan at home but knows that once he starts helping at West Side Magick then it will be even better. This is true for Ronan as well since he is not used to not working or doing. Then, Ronan sees something, jumps to conclusions, and what happens next has happened to every person in a relationship: the massive fight where one leaves the house before worse things are said. What usually doesn't happen is the next time they see their partner is when they are covered in blood and accused of murder. What happens next is what makes Pandora Pine one of my favorite authors: a twisting story that will leave you gasping in surprise while fanning yourself with the heat between Ronan and Tenn.
Woo, I didn’t see that coming! Tennyson and Ronan are having to fight for the biggest trial in their life after Ronan is accused of murder. There’s so many twists and turns in the story that you can’t put it down. It gives an idea of how Ronan sees everything from a different side of the law. Tennyson is trying to keep his emotions in check and take care of their daughter at the same time. All the MCs in the book are great by coming together to help these two in their time of need. The book is mysterious, very intense, dark moments, funny, romantic, and loved it. I especially love Everly and all the other babies in these series. I’m looking forward to the next book from Pandora Pine.

Wow. The first pages in and I want to smack Ronan up side his head! Then I started thinking and recognized that he’s having a crisis of self worth and confidence, mixed with his flying off the handle tendencies and Bang, we have flash fire. As always the entire West Side Magick team are involved and needed. The kids are growing so fast. There’s a new character to integrate and the action just keeps on coming. Yet another complex mystery to solve and takes all our heroes skills to do it. Excellent page turning fun. As always.
This one had my heart "pounding" more than once and it was usually in fear, not a hot sex scene. grrr Although there were the wonderful moments of "family" we, unfortunately, got to see the flip side of things when we discover that the dark side of the "gift" can destroy instead of supporting a family... such a devastating situation.
I am not sure why this author holds such a fascination for me as she does, but frankly, I don't have time to ponder the whys and wherefores... because there are so many books, and so little free reading time! ;D
Having a reading with the father of a recently deceased child isn't unusual for Ten...But being kissed afterwards is! And Ronan doesn't react well at all!
And when a body appears at the store, which Ronan is found doing CPR on, the situation becomes more dire. The tension escalates after Cisco gets involved, none of the psychics can reach any of those who are deceased, and their favorite medium gives Ronan advice.
This installment was very “meh” for me. I consider this book to be a “filler episode” in that nothing has changed for *any* of the characters by the end of the book. Add in the fact that I detested the first 5 or so chapters, because neither Ronan nor Tennyson were acting in character – I mean eye-rollingly bad melodrama. I was so annoyed by the forced drama of the situation that it probably colored my attitude towards the remainder of the book. Hopefully the next installment won’t disappoint.
Dead on Arrival is the fourteenth book in the Cold Case Psychic series by Pandora Pine. A wonderful mix of suspense, mystery, angst, and drama. Then add in the humor and love and we have one fabulous story that will keep you anxiously turning those pages and devouring each word. I love Ronin and Tennyson. They are sweet, and funny and their story is always a fun and emotional mix of entertainment. Cant wait for more.
Holy smokes this book was on heck of a ride. I was on the edge of my seat from about page ten all the way to the end. I can't decide how to write this review without giving too much away. Let's just say that Ronin is charged with murder, yes murder! Oh and we get to meet a new character who I cannot wait to find out more about! Happy reading and I hope you are as riveted by this book as I am!

Pandora has done it again! Ten and Ronan are only one of my favorite couples from this series and the spin off, but you get glimpses of our other favorite guys throughout this case! She keeps it fresh, lively and suspenseful every single book. This entire series is one of my go to re-reads thank you pandora for creating such a wonde story for us and keeping the guys in our lives.
It’s hard to believe how the journey of Tennyson and Ronan continues. The stories never become stale, and each new challenge brings them closer together. This one seemed a bit more “forced” than the others. It was a good plot with interesting details; however, the ending just seemed lackluster. There was so much build up, and then, boom! It’s all solved and over. Regardless, it was a good read, and I’m looking forward to the next one in the series.
These 2 are like homing beacons for trouble and when trouble comes calling it flies in at 100mph and they can sure argue like champions, Ten actually made me want to give him a concussion for the way he treated Ronan in this one, a great addition to the cold case psychic series I really hope there’s going to be more of Ronan and Ten in the future especially with the introduction of 'Scorpio' now that is another mystery to be solved.
Dead on Arrival is easily one of my favourite books in the Cold Case Psychic universe. It had everything:- a great story, fun and even a couple of intriguing new characters we'll hopefully hear more about. One thing that's been bugging me though for a couple of books now. What the heck has happened to Emilyn - Everly's birth mother?? I thought she worked at the shop but she hasn't been mentioned in ages. Have I missed something??🤔🤔
A twisted tale that has more too it than meets the eye!
I love Ten & Ronan but...I felt this sort of diverged from the strong relationship they have. I did spend much of the first half of the book a little frustrated and say "they wouldn't no this or they wouldn't believe that". Thankfully Pandora worked her wizardry and brought the story back around with the same snark, love, thrill, and care. I still feel like Ten and Ro were stronger than this but I understand the larger magic interference and it's still and great, gripping read. Even with how frustrated I was I couldn't put it down.
I love the whole West Side Magick family and I loved seeing more of Jude, Cope, and baby Wolf. I also loved the introduction of the new and mysterious character that I'm sure will become part of the family.
All in all, I'm always happy to see what Ro and Ten are up to. If you haven't read this series you need too!!!
I have no idea how Pandora Pine does that, but she continues to take me by surprise with this series! The tables turn, the characters evolve and the plot twists in direction I never would have expected. The only constant here is the amazingly high quality of the writing and the intensity of emotions the books evoke. Amazing as always!
It just keeps on getting better! Ronan and Ten are back!!! The suspense is terrific in Dead on Arrival. A real page turner! While rushing through it I also never wanted it to end. When the cop becomes the accused what do you do? Another winner by Pandora Pine and I can't wait to see what she has in store for her readers next!
I have truly loved following these two men on their journey and this book just proves that they were made for each other. Everyone has doubts once in awhile but talking & working through it, you can come out stronger on the other side. Ronan and Ten are wonderful!!
