This book, as Jones states in her introduction, isn't meant to be read in one sitting, though her stories are so compelling, you won't want to put down the book!

Jones tells the story of 40 specific "gives" that she experiences over the course of a year. Each story is short and inspiring, and she closes them with a challenge to the reader: to find a similar way to give.

What I appreciated the most was the variety of stories Jones chose to share. The gifts she gave were vast and different: notes, smiles, donations, time, money, presents, and secretive. She introduced me to many charities and nonprofit organizations doing amazing things for others, and she touts the accomplishments of several worthwhile entrepreneurs.

I recommend this book to be read during a 40-day period, or perhaps even one day a week over 40 weeks, and with your family. See how it inspires you to be creative in serving others!

I received an ARC of this book. In exchange, I wrote my honest review.

I love how Stephanie shared real life giving that I could relate to and placed it with scripture to show how God can use us when we don't expect it.

As I am trying to learn to have a giving heart as a college student this book opened my mind to see that giving can be unlimited. I thoroughly learned a lot about what it takes to be a giver and how easy it can be and it doesn't always have to include money. Every story I read touched me in a different way and then I immediately thought of a way I could give in that aspect. The title of this book explains the book well; you will be challenged to have a giving mindset and change the way you live.
Two quotes I found that I want to live by and strive to let change my life and share with others are found in Stephanie's book!
"Giving will change your life, just like it did mine."
"I believe it isn't the gift that matters or the person who gave the gift, it is the impact that gift has on another person's live. Whether big or small It will almost always make a difference."

This is a great and practical guide on ways that we can all be more generous. From the simple to the complex, there are plenty of ways we can all be better givers. I'm so thankful for Stephanie's heart and collection of stories that encourage us all to be more generous. In a world that is so often 'dog eat dog', this book is a breath of fresh air.
