Mind-blowing...

Kross's story and upbringing alone were just mind-blowing. Her parents were definitely different than most parents with their family business. I was glad when Kross met Hollis they both needed wake up calls. He needed to let his player lifestyle go and she needed to learn how to love herself again.

I always always love the personality that authors give kids in their books. Connor was no exception, she was headstrong and spoke her mind freely. She was quite intelligent as well.

Fantastic read and another first for me from this author. I will say download it and indulge because everyone deserves a second chance.

Good read

I enjoyed this story of Kross. How it walked through her hardship with therapy and finding herself again. Conner, though, my favorite.

Where you are

I enjoyed this story despite the errors. There were several errors in which you will need to change the word while reading for a sentence to make sense. I would suggest a re-edit and re-release by this author because the storyline is amazing. Thankfully the errors did not take away from the storyline and my enjoyment of the story, but it did take me longer to read as a result. From the beginning of Kross and Hollis’s interaction I loved them both. They were hilarious together and gave just as good as they got. This book title was perfect for this story and couple because they both met the other where they were and only wanted the best for each other. Their banter before meeting face to face was so funny and when they met face to face, you could immediately see how attracted they were to the other. This couple meeting the other where they were was so important and something a lot of relationships seem to miss and expect their mate to be perfect and without flaws. This couple embraced each other’s flaws and challenged each other to do better when necessary. My favorite character though was Hollis’s daughter Connor. She was so cute and funny and this author wrote her character so well. I look forward to this author’s next release.

This book was really good! In fact, it was so good that it could’ve been a five star 😩😩. The premise was interesting and the chemistry between Kross and Hollis was SOOO GOOD LIKE DJDBHDBEHSBS. I love both of the characters, especially Kross.

Kross is the type of character that you root for instantly. The book follows her as she isolated herself due to a traumatic event. I love the therapy sessions with her therapist, and I love how she is very cautious and slowly starts to enter back into the new world.

I liked Hollis up until a certain point 🙄. I love the way Hollis stepped up to take his daughter out of the toxic environment provided by the mother of his child. I love the close knit relationship he has with his daughter. I also love his interactions with Kross. You can tell that Hollis was intrigued by Kross.

I took off a star bec Hollis does something that I find so stupid and childish. Like really? Hollis, yes I’m talking to you, you have a WHOLE DAUGHTER and a WHOLE SISTER! You’re a WHOLE MAN and you’re doing such rubbish? And for what? Meaningless gain.

Hollis ruined it for me after that.

Moving story!

Kross was an exceptional person to go on, after living through such trauma. Although she self isolated, she was able to begin her healing on her own terms. Hollis meeting Ms. Peach Street was hysterical. Loved the banter between the two. Hollis was immediately intrigued, and wanted to see and know more about the mystery woman. Kross was amused by Hollis' gruff talk, and impatience. However, she was also very attracted to him. Their meeting was explosive, how they could not take their eyes off each other. The way Hollis took the time to bring Kross out of her comfort zone, and reintegrate her to public settings was beautiful. Their love was so heartfelt! Conner, was a whole trip! That little girl been here before. 😃. The way she attached herself to Kross, was telling of her good heart. Amazing story! Great job!👍👍👍

I Wanna Be Where You Are

TUCORA!!!!!!!!! You did your thang baby! I truly enjoyed this read. My favorite character was Conner. How could you not love her? I wanted to whip her little tale and love on her at the same time. Roland and her Pimp Daddy, literally, were trash. Cara and Shelby I wanted to fight. Henry was just a broken mess. However, he deserved what he got by leaving the scene of an accident/crime he committed. Shelby should've been charged too for insinuating him to leave. Both of those pot heads were no good. Lastly, I genuinely loved Hollis and Kross's character. The love was genuine and could be felt through the pages. You hit on a lot of topics that were needed to be heard and received. This book blessed me!😍

Another Great Read!!

....”I’d give my life to make sure you’re safe. I swear to the heavens, I’m not going anywhere. Wherever you are, that’s where I’ll be. Forever.”

Where You Are is a fabulous read! What started off as a bet ends up being a roller coaster ride of love. Kross and Hollis are like two lost damaged souls looking for each other. They’re bantering with each other is hilarious. I love the fact that they compromise and meet each other halfway when there was a hurdle they need to cross. Once you start reading you wont be able to put this book down!

Great Story

This was an emotional love story with two characters who have a fascinating back story. Especially Kross. But they definitely had chemistry. So that potent connection pulled them to each other despite any reservations. Connor was adorable and I loved her bond with Kross. That confrontation scene was a scary full circle moment, had me on the edge of my seat! This was a really great story!

I Want to Be Where You Are

Kross & Hollis meeting and developing a relationship was what they both needed. Where one was weak the other was strong.
They were the perfect mix. Conner added a little spice to the blend.
They definitely had their challenges but handled them.
The author incorporated issues faced in society. Their story is a must read. Maybe we will learn the rest of their story.

I'm here Love

Hollis pursuing Kross started out as a joke, and it backfired when Hollis started to have feelings for Kross. Kross had been isolated in her home after an accident at work. She received weekly deliveries via Hollis's delivery service. They met on a whim and became a couple despite the obstacles they encountered. I loved his daughter Connor. She was my light in the sometimes darker moments.

Hollis & Kross

Great storyline. Hollis and Kross were both victims of their pasts who were existing the way that worked for each of them; that is until they meet each other. Too bad that meeting was based on a bet between Hollis and his employees until it blew up in his face. Whew, there were some eyebrow raising 👀 moments as well as some laugh out loud times. Overall good story that can use some light editing. Would read this author's books again.

Bet

Kross and Hollis(love the names) love story started as a bet gone wrong but feelings were already involved to call it quits. Both dealing with trauma they tried hiding but found comfort between each other to make it better. I loved Kross and Connor relationship and was glad to see they shared their own bond outside of Hollis. Great story but the errors were annoying. I’ll still recommend

I really enjoyed Hollis and Kross. They met in an unconventional way and their love/hate bantering ignited a fire in them both. Both had past issues to work through and saw the need to be better for themselves first. Loved how Hollis was a great father and strong presence in his daughters life, that alone made him a bae in my eyes.

Nice handle of internal struggles

This read was definitely one I enjoyed. The way the writer handled the mental and emotional trauma is commendable. I rooted for the main characters every step of the way. Even if they were rude. The personalities really shined and reactions were authentic. You could tell this tale was crafted with love.

Loved the couple

I loved the story as a whole which is why i gave it five stars. What i didn’t like was the mentioning of his nose. She constantly mentioned how big his nose was like it was a problem for her and he never said anything about. That bothered me more than it should have. Otherwise, great story.

I liked reading about Kross and Hollis and enjoyed their story. They both had interesting backgrounds. And Connor was so cute and sassy. I feel like there's more story to tell and it seemed rushed in some parts. The book left me wanting more. It was my first read from the author but I liked it. There were quite a few grammar mistakes that didn't really take away from the book.

Hollis 😍😍😍

This story of Hollis and Kross was everything! I felt a great amount of sympathy for Kross and all that she’d been through. Hollis was just who she needed, along with Connor. Even though you almost took me out with the last line before the epilogue, this was a great read! 😂

Good read

At times I found the writing hard to follow and there were too many misused words and bad punctuation. Not atrocious, but bad. Overall, I liked Kross and Hollis as a couple despite their drama, skeletons, and issues.

Where You Are

After some traumatic events, Kross had practically turned her home into her private prison until her soulmate found her. Hollis never gave up. He patiently worked his way into her life along with Conner, his daughter - an added jewel in Kross life.
The messages intertwined in Kross and Hollis romance were great takeaways. I absolutely loved this story!
