Very much drama and little steam...

Someones keeping some secrets.. and it isnt Daisy.. Amias is one of the top 4 mafia bosses in the world but his darling Daisy doesn't know about that life, she just knows about him being a rich billionaire.. and her sugar daddy when she wakes up from a terrible accident and doesn't remember what happened few years back.

Daisy has been getting wired feelings few times when she is in class or when shes out with her man.. but she doesn't know why. More of that mystery comes out when a blast from their past comes knockin. And seems like Amias is even more obsessed with his girl. Now he has to protect her and make sure she doesn't get those nasty memories back. ;)

And boy.. i kinda figured he did something evil-ish to make his girl not remember her past life.. he just made sure to replace those memories with him lol and not trust any man but him.

Also their was way more plot in this one and less sexy times.. which had me disappointed also.. i think the author should cut back on the word daddy.. maybe once and awhile let the girl call the guys name.

Very dark read. This story is about Amias and Daisy. Amias is a mafia crime boss and he basically manipulated or kinda kidnapped Daisy after she was in an accident and had amnesia. He made her believe that he was her lover. He has always loved her from the moment he seen her. It took months down the road for her regain her memory but when she, surprisingly, she doesn’t get upset or angry - she is in love with him.

Daisy know Amias as a simple businessman happy to spoil her, in truth he is a ruthless mafia boss. A man from Daisy’s past has come back into her life. Will she learn the truth of her past? This is a fast-paced read with lots of drama and intense chemistry. The story is fast-paced and edgy. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it.

***Before I start my review, I would like to warn readers of certain things that could be potential triggers for some. This is an unhealthy Daddy/little girl relationship that was based on manipulation.***

I love everything Celia publishes and tend to gobble it up the minute it becomes available. I enjoyed this one just the same, but it just missed a mark with me. Celia's writing is fantastic as always, but this story just didn't do it for me like her others.

Daisy is a young vibrant woman that has no memories other than the past 3 years she has had with her "Daddy" Amias and best friend Reina. When someone starts approaching her saying that he is from her past and that they were happy together, she is frightened but knows that Amias will protect her at all costs.
Amias loved Daisy before she even knew who he was - when her accident happened, he was by her side thru her healing. But when the man that Amias thought he had got rid of comes back and threatens everything - Amias is not going to hold back on protecting who he loves with all his being. But when the smoke clears and truths are learned, will Daisy still love and adore Amias?

I realize I’m in the minority, but this is my honest opinion. 2 1/2 Stars

I was looking forward to a dark romance with a sexy alpha male exerting his strength and skills in an intense obsessive manner. In a way, Amias was just what I was expecting. What was a disappointment though, was the lack of sexiness and a whole lot of creepy.
Daisy’s whole daddy this and daddy that was also icky instead of erotic.
By the middle of the book, I was totally creeped out with the whole Daddy and my darling girl phrases I was tempted to stop reading.
There were also numerous parts in this storyline that seemed uneven or off. Again the phrasing and the dialogue were awkward and threw off the flow of the storyline that I admit did improve as it went on.
I never really felt any passion from the one dimensional Daisy who was sweet but acted a bit retarded.
No spark, no chemistry with a disappointing realization that the alpha hero was truly without conscience and a brutal murderer of innocents.

This is a dark romance filled with manipulation, violence and a twisted relationship..
This is a story about a man that not only is possessive but obsessive about the woman he loves and how far he will go to keep her....even if he has to make her a prisoner without her knowing.
When Daisy woke up from her coma her Daddy was sitting beside her..she couldnt remember anything for the last 5 years but one thing she knew was that her Daddy loved her and she loves him....because he told her so....
Its been 3 years since Amias has made Daisy his but now someone wants to take her away from him and he will do anything to keep her by his side.......when the truth comes out and Daisy finds out about his manipulation is his love for her enough to keep her from leaving him?

Daisy is a innocent, young woman in love with a man who is the opposite of who she believes. Amias is a mafia killer, he is the man other members of the mafia call on when they want some one dead. To Daisy he is her Daddy, the man who loves and cares for her. Her Daddy always looks after her and wants the best for her and this was the one truth among all of his lies. Because Daddy did love her more than anything in the world and he would destroy anyone who tried to take her from him. This was unusual story about a man who had two very different faces and the determination make Daisy his rregardless. I admired the man that Daisy saw and despised the manipulative, man of vengeance who everyone else feared.

The story centres around Daisy and her ‘Daddy’ Amias. She wants for nothing. She is studying without debt and is inundated with gifts every time Daddy comes home. She’s been manipulated into believing everything she is told and lives her life in a protected bubble only believing the image that Daddy wants her to see. Amias is one of four very powerful mafia families, each specialising in a particular market. Amias is a hitman with a very successful track record and business. When Daisy lost her memory he used the opportunity to create a new one that involved him being the centre of her universe. He is totally unscrupulous and there is nothing her wouldn’t do for the woman he adores. This book involves both interesting characters and a creative, dark story. Very entertaining.

Amias Venturi is a mafia boss but to his Darling Daisy he is just a business man who loves her dearly. Daisy believes Amias is her sugar Daddy who will do anything to keep her happy. Daisy calls him Daddy. Firstly it seemed a bit weird but to these two it a love made in heaven.
But when trouble comes a knocking Amias knows he will do anything to keep her safe because he knows his enemies will go for Daisy to hurt him. Also he needs to make sure Daisy is ok after she suffered amnesia after a fire and there is a story there in itself
This is a good read. The storyline is good and it kept me hooked till the very last page.

Daisy adores her daddy, but that could be because Daisy doesn't really know Daddy. Daddy is sweet and loving and controlling, but he just really loves her. She goes to college she has a friend and she has daddy. That's it. She can have anything she wants. People at school say that he's her sugar daddy, but to Daisy he's just Daddy. If she knew who Daddy really was and what Daddy really does, she would be terrified. A good read.

Daisy has memory loss and every since she woke up Amias V. has taken her in. She calls him daddy and does what ever he wants. She relies on him for everything. That’s how he wants it. She’s his darling. You’ll get sick from the repetitiveness of Daddy wants or Daddy’s protection and his calling her darling or his princess. For an educated person who’s smart I felt I was looking into a child’s life. But other wise it’s about mafias and power. And who’s trying to get back into Daisy life.

This book had me on the edge of my seat, I wanted to know what really happen in her past that he felt that he had to keep her from finding out any information. He had her in the palm of his hands. But someone from her past is looking for her and he will do anything to get her back, not that he has a chance.

this is the first book i have read by this author.
it had an interesting storyline and intrigued me to read it.
Daisy came across as naïve due to her sheltered life at the hand s of her new daddy, amais , but as the story unfolds its clear to see why she is the way she and why amais will go to any and all lengths to keep his darling safe. good read

I liked this novel, the only thing I did not understand was whether the hero was the first in sex with the heroine, this left a bitter aftertaste of incomprehensibility (((

Daisy is a young girl when she meets Amais. He made her believe he was her lover. He is her SUGAR DADDY. I mean who doesn't want one of those? I came in the middle of the series. I mean its not a series but I like reading the books before just in case there is a mention of these characters, but even still it was a good read. I mean it can be read alone. I did. Read it you will see.

Short drama story, there are lots of twists and turns to this story and it keeps up the drama but it does very little to anything else. Amias is a MOB boss and Daisy is his little play thing. Lots of things happen and he wants to protect Daisy from it all. Nothing it’s what it seems.
