The story's about Ruskin and Emmie.

It"s a cute short story. I love to read safe rockstar stories and he's not into groupies or any one but the love of his life. I just didn't like her jerk fiancé and that she spent time with him even if she hated him.

It has an epilogue but I want more. Married and she's pregnant.

I absolutely love reading books by this author and I always look forward to seeing them on my kindle and this one was just as fabulous.

Emmie is a young woman at 21 years old and hasn't ever really experienced life properly yet. Her father totally controls every aspect of her life and even keeps her under surveillance.
She's is fed up of her father and how strict he is and all his rules. But when he goes to far that's it she's had enough.

Ruskin is in a band and is a very confident man who also has a playful side to him. He acts like he's known her for year's.
When these two meet in a bar one night after Emmie had sneaked out Ruskin knows as soon as he sees her that she is his Forever girl.
Will he be able to convince her that they are meant to be ?
Will she take a leap of faith ?
( NO SPOILERS ).

I absolutely loved this quick romantic Insta love that happens between these two characters. I really enjoyed watching them develop and I love the way this author writes.
I loved the epilogue I always feel like this adds that something special to a story and I love to see where everyone is.

This is a story about fate leading you to your soulmate and accepting and embracing that love. Ruskin knows the moment he sees Emmie that she is his one and only. Emmie wants to believe it but she has been living under her father’s cruel thumb her entire life and she is afraid to take a leap. Her final straw is when she finds out through her father’s secretary that she is engaged to a man of her father’s choosing. This man is a disgusting pig and has no respect for her and this helps her choose to leave her father’s life and accept all Ruskin is offering.

Completely safe. No ow drama, h’s father picks her a fiancé who is a jerk of a man. He gropes her several times against her wishes. Both are virgins. No abuse, h lived under her father’s thumb and he was cruel to her at times.

Love this book so much! Ruskin is the most adorable hero I have read it quite a while. He isn't some huge, ripped guy. He is fit but lanky and I immediately pictured several famous lead singers. He is a silly, sweet man that put a smile on my face the minute he was introduced. Emmie is sweet but so stunted by the very narrow space she has been allowed to occupy. She reminded me of a few girls I knew growing up whose parents were so strict, they never got to experience anything. They didn't really know what they wanted out of life or how they felt. These two are so perfect for each other, I loved watching them take the leap, to have faith in each other and themselves. All the stars for Finding Their Rhythm!

I love Ruskin and Emmie's story. These two are so cute, so in love with each other. These instalove, instaforever books that SH writes are so much fun, so hot, so heartfelt, so fulfilling reads. Emmie is living this sheltered life where her dad controls EVERYTHING. She is not living the life she has imagined for herself and she's just not happy. A chance meeting with Ruskin is making her think about her happiness. The moment Ruskin meets Emilia, he knows she's his forever. She is clueless that he's in a big rock band.

Quick, fast, sizzling book that leaves you with a big smile on your face. A really delicious rock star romance read!

Super cute rocker story. While I don't typically care for this troupe because usually the guys are always Playboy's and/or cheaters that is totally not the case with this one. Both Zach and Emmie are virgins waiting to find their one true love. It's pretty smooth sailing for these two to quickly get their happily ever after.

Finding Their Rhythm is completely safe and free of any kind of abuse, cheating or drama.

This book was such a sweet and steamy story. I love how devoted he was, but he didn’t rush her or overwhelm her. Though their connection was instalove he respected her boundaries and empowered her to make her own decisions. I also liked how ‘real world’ their descriptions were. Both of them are characters you’d expect to see in real life.

This is a powerful read.
Ruskin Roman is a rock star when he walks into the dingy bar that faithful night and sees the woman he is going to marry his life feels complete.
Emmie is twenty one years old lives at home and is a "yes sir" daughter ro tje outside world. On the inside she is slowly dying, he father holds her trust find and future over her head, wher she attends school, what she wears, eats, weighs, where she works and ultimately who she will marry. (Connor VAINwright) VAIN is so correct.
But when Ruskin sweeps hher off her feet literally she is conflicted, since she was eight it has been just her and her over bearing father. It is not until while planning the wedding she sees the date February 29th Leap Year. It is her sign to Leap.
She immediately calls Ruskin to pick her up. He is there in a flash.
These characters are not your normal romance book characters they are not buff and gorgeous. They are plain and every day type of people ok still rock stars.
But not only does Ruskin love Emmie so does the rest of the band and the families behind them all. Oh and Emmie was worried about money? She is a great photographer and the bands publicist loves her work, so now she works for the band to. At the end it had been five years since she spoke to her father since she told him what was going to happen and hung up on him but she could not be happier.

Emmie and Ruskin got married in Vagas... Emmie became the band's photographer.. Ruskin's parents and the rest of the guy's parents from the band all love Emmie... When Emmie met Ruskin, she was at the end of her rope. Suffocating to death under her father's iron thumb, she sneaked out of their home for a breather and met Ruskin at the local bar. A beer, a dance, and lots of laughter later, their encounter came to an end with neither of them able to forget about the other.

But her dad held the key to her financially stable future. Emmie knew obeying him was the only way to gain her trust fund, so why was taking a chance with Ruskin looking better and better?

Because it was.

Their love story was quick, without a lot of frills or bells or whistles. It was a debate--Ruskin doing his best to convince Emmie what they had was worth pursuing, Emmie struggling to find a reason strong enough to stand against his emotional and heartfelt reasoning. Lucky for them both, Ruskin won.

They never regretted taking that leap of faith into the unknown either.

I liked this story. It's typical Ms. Hart style and voice, but it was her presentation of Ruskin that made my heart smile and warm. He wasn't pushy or arrogant or an alpha-hole. He was fun, playful, attentive, and so, so loving toward Emmie. Ruskin was what Emmie needed him to be--a knight in black jeans and t-shirt armor with a heart of gold.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Finding their rhythm is book two in the ‘’taking a leap’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. I love all of the books of Shaw Harts that I have read but I definitely think this book is my favourite!
In order to receive her trust fund, Emmie is living with her controlling father and doing what he wants. When she sneaks off one night, she meets Ruskin and considers her life choices. Ruskin is a rock star that believes in love at first sight. When he meets Emmie, he knows she is the woman for him. With him leaving on tour soon, will he convince Emmie to go with him?
The chemistry between Emmie and Ruskin is clear to see and I loved them together. This story had me smiling throughout. Ruskin’s personality is infectious!
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

This was such a short, sweet read from Shaw Hart. It is about trusting your feelings and risking everything to be with the person you know is meant to be yours. I always get excited when this author releases a new book because I know it will be over the top sweet and insta everything, which is precisely what I like. Ruskin knew the moment he saw Emmie that she was his soulmate now; he just had to convince to take a leap of faith and trust that he would love her forever. Emmie wants to make her own path in life, but her father refuses to give her a choice on her own life, always dictating everything and anything she does. When she meets Ruskin, everything changes, and for once, she decides what is best for her and leaves with him following her heart. These two were so sweet, just perfect for each other. I cannot wait for whatever book is next!

Her one rebellion is sneaking out to a dive bar to get away from what she thinks is her only option in life. One night, she meets Ruskin and another option is presented to her. Ruskin knows she is the one right away and needs to convince her before he has to leave in a couple days. As always with Shaw Hart stories, this is short and sweet and everyone gets their Happily Ever After. Well, almost everyone..... :-)

Emmie is controlled and sheltered by her very domineering father and is actually about to be forced into a marriage she doesn't want....

Until the night she sneaks out to the local dive bar and meets Ruskin.

I loved the premise of this book, a rich sheltered young woman ready to break the binds that hold her back and find her way in the world. Bonus points that her path seems to include a tattooed rockstar who believes in love at first sight and The One. I'm a sucker for a tattooed rocker, so it was a must grab for me!

Seriously loved this book. From the moment I picked it up it grabbed my complete attention and I could not put it down. The instant he sees her he hears his parents in his head reminding him that he will know if she's the one the moment he lays his eyes on her and it happened exactly like it did. Then he finds out that she is being made to marry another man. But one she has no interest in. He tells her his parents story and of course she is skeptic. But then she realizes that she can't go through it....

Absolutely adore Shaw Hart’s cute steamy instaloves! This one was so sweet. I love that it meant to much to Ruskin that she didn’t recognize him or see him as a meal ticket. The guys in the band supported him and he just had to get the girl!

Poor Emmie made the best decision on that leap day and took a leap of faith and ended up getting her HEA.

Shaw did a great job with Emmie and Ruskin's book. Emmie is done living under her father's thumb even if she has to give up her trust fund. Ruskin is just waiting for his one and only and he finally finds her and is willing to put a hold on his life to make sure Emmie stays in it. Emmie and Ruskin's chemistry is too cute and sweet that it's unreal! This was a great HEA. I highly recommend this book.

Take a Leap!

I love the idea of a series centered around a Leap Year theme and Finding Their Rhythm certainly delivers on that premise! Emmie is seeking escape from her controlling father and arranged marriage. However, when she meets Ruskin and he offers her a forever love, she's understandably hesitant to "take that leap". Shaw Hart just gets better and better. Emmie and Ruskin's story is so sweet and definitely worth taking a leap!

Ruskin and Emmie

It was a cute read about a poor rich girl living under her overbearing father and the lead singer of a famous rock band. The males in Tuskin family are known to fall in love at first sight, instinctively knowing their true love and is not different with Ruskin. He only have to convince the very sceptical Emmie, they are meant together. Highly recommended
