Grace,a pesky word to the religious people,but it is liberating to the helpless. I grew up in a very religious household where rules and legalism was a mandate. My perception of God was that he was an angry monster who wanted my money in churches and I couldn't fathom how a loving God would send me to hell,cause I occasionally drink wine,listen to secular music or do any worldly thing. Granted I didn't do any of those things in fear of the consequences but it wasn't until I embraced the grace of God that my idea of Him change drastically.

I discovered that God was a loving God who wanted our intimate relationship with me and not a bipolar monster who wanted to shower me with blessings. I studied scriptures more accurately as far as covenants, the law,sin,etc. It is a lot of jargon language that I don't want to bore anyone by reading this review but I'm glad that I read this book!

I read quite a few books of the grace of God and this one was pretty amazing and transparent.

Rejoice God is not angry at you, but he loves you and longs to have a relationship with you!

Perhaps one of the best books overall that I’ve ever read! I’ve heard Bob Lenz speak at countless youth events and found him to be not only entertaining and motivating but also to have a great message of God’s grace for youth and adults! This book is much much more than a collection of his messages; it is a comprehensive explanation of God’s grace that consistently corrects the many ways God’s grace is commonly missed, misunderstood, ignored, and rejected! Bob gets it!!! And he wants you to get it too!! I concur; I wish every Christian would read this book; the church would have a genuine revival of faith!! I wish every non-Christian would read this book to understand that what they’ve been rejecting is not really God; and they would come to know God and His amazing unconditional love! And that’s what is important for all of us all the time: God’s amazing unconditional love! Bob gets it!! I hope you will too!! This book will help!!

Overall good book on grace. Shares some of the same material from his presentations, but it is good stuff. Also some other stories. All in all a quick read and worth it.
